Staff were nice. Breakfast, not that great. The country gravy is clearly from a can. It’s not difficult to make country gravy. Why o why would you do that? Not sure if I will ever go back.

I gave this place a few chances but every time I eat there the service is bad and my eggs always come out cold. I don’t know if they make the eggs first then start on everything else but they need to fix it.

Adequate at best. Meh… husband had a grilled ham and cheese. He thought it would be a nice slice of ham off the bone but, NO… It was one slice of lunch meat on very skimpy slices of white bread. The breakfast potatoes were cubes of mushy inside and crusty outsides. I will go across the street or Tags.

My wife and I have eaten here four or five times since November. The meals have been pretty good. I love biscuits and gravy, but all of the gravy that I have had in my life has sausage mixed in with the gravy. I’ve requested that they add sausage to the gravy, but it doesn’t seem to happen. Today we came with another couple and the café was busy, my wife said her omelet was burned on the bottom, but it was too busy to send it back. The wait staff has been very friendly every time we’ve been here. The place seems to be clean. My wife did mention that the lock on the women’s restroom is still broken and does not lock it’s been that way for some time now. This issue has been mentioned to the staff, but nothing seems to get done about it. I think she is going to let the health department know about this if it’s still broken then next time we are in. I’ll probably go to Tag’s for my biscuits and sausage gravy future. Rich

Fantastic to finally have a small town café in Florence. We had a wonderful breakfast there. Place was busy, even mid-morning on a Wednesday! Can’t wait to go back again!

Way understaffed. Took 33 minutes to get our order taken. Never got a refill on coffee. Food was cold when it arrived which was good since it was burnt. All in all about 1 hour 45 minutes to eat breakfast. Course we didn’t eat it. We had thought, having another place to eat here would be nice. But as much as I hate fast food. Better to eat at the golden starches

I am now dairy-free. They were very accommodating to this. The cook prepared the S.M.S.(Spinach, Mushroom, and Swiss) omelet without cheese. Although not on the menu, they offer home fries instead of hash browns, and the potatoes were perfect, some of the skins were really crispy! The waitress, Erica, checked with the cook, Maxwell, with my questions about no dairy before taking my order and he was happy to oblige. This is my 3rd time here and the service is always friendly and helpful, the food always good, and the coffee pot makes the rounds often enough that I never feel neglected. It’s about time Florence had a place like this!
