Garden Ridge

Holy moly so much stuff!!! You can find EVERYTHING at garden ridge, from books to scrubs to rugs to furniture. I am a vet tech so I buy all my scrubs at garden ridge because they are so cheap! Have fun searching through everything is a great time. You’ll find anything you’ll need at garden ridge.

Garden Ridge is a great addition to the Florence area, especially with the disappearance of Old Time Pottery.
A true hodge podge of merchandise, I can usually find whatever I’m looking for in terms of outdoor fun and even some inside décor.
The staff is friendly and it’s a huge store with a wide variety of goodies. Pricing is AWESOME!

I made a recent trip to Garden Ridge, located in the old Bigg’s building on the north side of Florence and I must say, there is something uplifting about going into a store on a chilly winter day and strolling though isles of garden products. The isle upon isle of flower pots and outdoor furniture serve as a reminder of better, warmer weather to come.
The mid-​January Saturday I was there, there was still Christmas product on the shelves, but at final sale prices of 90% off. After looking at other stores and being hesitant to pay $ 15 — $ 20 or more for throw pillows, I walked out with 4 throw pillows for a total of $ 12 that day. I have my eye on a plant stand and possibly some wall art for future trips.
I was first in the store shortly after it opened and it seemed to be a higher scale Old Time Pottery, although Garden Ridge has a larger selection of furniture than OTP had, but not the stock of glasses and dishes.
My suggestion is to know what you are looking for and at approximately what price, you will find some great bargains here, but not on every item. Go, check it out, find yourself a bargain.

This store is amazing! Tons of items from really good prices to… I’m not really sure its worth it. There are some items that you tell yourself… Yeah that is worth it, but I dont have the money right now… lol…
Great Rug selection (6 isles), Pillows (like 10 rows), Furniture, Art, Books, wow… tons of crapola. just gotta look to believe… GREAT PLACE A+

Garden Ridge is a hodgepodge of home goods, lawn chairs/​ornaments, furniture, chairs, pillows, etc. Prices are hit and miss, as you can find a reasonably priced chair and then turn the aisle and find an overpriced baking pan. Just like anything else, keep an open mind and be realistic about prices and what the quality is. I love the selection of kitchen items and lawn furniture, as the variety is great. The store is also huge, as it is inside the old Bigg’s in Florence off Houston. The only downside is that usually 1 register is open for checkout, so your wait to finish the shopping experience can be a bit long at times, but outside of this I really love the store.
