so far i am very disappointed with this Lowes. Bought carpet there over a month ago, Set up installation. When the installers came a gentleman and a lady, she left an hour into to the job leaving the gentleman there by himself. plugged a radio into my electric while they worked. He did all the work, she just made excuses for everything. Had a fairly large room to install the carpet in and one installer. Before she left they attempted to move a few pieces of furniture out to the room, instead of just moving the furniture from one side of the room to the other. They totally destroyed one of the walls in doing this(which i had just had the whole room freshly painted) Nicked the wall and ruined the paint. after she left he brought the carpet in scuffing the walls as he did this. As he unrolled the carpet, the carpet had a hole in it, I of course refused the carpet so he drug it out of house by himself scuffing up the wall even more. The woman at lowes handled my problem very nicely, gave me money back for the inconvenience and said the new carpet would be ordered. The first time it took 4 days to get in it has now been two weeks and counting. Still don’t have my carpet or is it installed i would say Lowes was great and their prices were good, their installation is horrible so i would say I will never buy carpet here again. ran into a similar problem about 6 months ago when i purchase a washer. Price and service at Lowes was wonderful. Delivery was horrible. Mud tracked into the house and not cleaned up walls nicked and scratched. Lowes really needs to rethink what happens after they make a sale. Their installation company and delivery people are giving them a black eye

Bought a fridge here two weeks ago and had delivery set up for today. Got a call 30 minutes before scheduled delivery. They don’t have the fridge. Can’t get one. Now they want us to settle on the model below. All our food is in coolers and there’s no compensation or apologies. They couldn’t have let us know any earlier??? Bummed is an understatement. They said they can deliver the cheaper model tomorrow. I think I’m done with this Lowes. Talk about disappointing customer service.

Customer service at the commercial center is always very slow. When you’re a contractor time is money and you end up spending an extra 20 minutes trying to even get checked out it’s awful. Most the time they got older people who are the cashiers who don’t have a clue what they’re doing.

This place has all the advantages and disadvantages or a large chain hardware store. The prices are really nice, but then you have to walk for a long time before you get to what you wanted to buy. I went to the garden center, and although they didn’t have the particular tree I was wanting, they did have a sizable collection already in stock. I wasn’t accosted by employees wanting to help me when I walked in the door, but there were plenty of employees around who I could have asked for help if I needed any. That’s just the way I like my help at hardware stores, but that’s not for everyone. Oh, and the other great news is they have a 1 year guarantee on trees.

Everyone at this location is so helpful and friendly. We recently purchased a home so we’ve been coming in a lot, to the point where we’re starting to recognize the employees. All of them from the sales floor staff, to the cashiers/service desk workers, to the delivery people have all been awesome. Plus Lowe’s coupons are pretty easy to come by through address changing and realtors.

A typical Lowe’s. I have found it is no better and no worse than any other Lowe’s I have been too. The sales people do not get paid on commission, so you can leisurely shop for anything, including appliances, without the hassle.

All the big box hardware/home improvement stores are the same. Or are they? They carry similar merchandise at prices that are very competitive with each other; but on two occasions I have experienced unexpected customer service at this store. The first time, in the spring of 2009, not long after we moved to the area, we experienced a problem with one of the landscape lights in front of the house. I have no idea how old this light system is, or where it originally came from, but I went to Lowes, Florence on a part hunt. The employee there was very willing to help in my search and when it became apparent that they did not have the individual part I needed, he took a light off the shelf and diassembled it to get me the part I needed. NOCHARGE. Just last Saturday we ordered a new grill. The model we had been looking at was on sale on for $ 100 off the regular price. We ordered the grill and I called the store to request free assembly. No problem! Well, a slight problem, the assembled grill was missing a screw holding down one of the burners and a nut that was part of the warmer rack assembly. A trip back to the store yielded me a replacement nut off a floor model and a small bag of stainless steel screws. As expected, no charge. Are they perfect: No Should the grill have come to me without any missing pieces: Yes. But I do understand that these things do happen, and it is important to me the way they are handled. No hassle, get me what I need and let me go about my day. I’ll keep going back for that kind of treatment.
