This restaurant is unfortunately near my job so I occasionally go because of lack of time for other stops. The people there are rude and full of attitude. Shake machine is always «down». They are too lazy to just reset it. Try to get a frappé or ice coffee and they make the worst possible drink as a result. Food is usually ok, but takes forever to get.

When you find a McDonald’s that has a weekly Quarter Pounder Wednesday special I’m all in. Yeah, it’s fast food and a necessary evil especially when on the road.
I have come to not expect much from McDonalds, I guess that I am disappointed way too much. So when needing to stop for gas and a quick food stop this was it. Finding that they had buy one get one Quarter Pounders was icing on the cake.
Service at the counter was good, not anything to go crazy about. She was competent and that is better than half of most cashiers that I have ran across in fast food chains. Transaction smooth and awaited the order.
By the time we got some napkins, straws and ketchup the order was up. That was like 5 minutes and was impressive. The dining room was dead as we were dining at 4 PM prior to a rush.
ALL the food was hot and delicious. The dining room was clean, the trash was not over flowing the bins and even the bathrooms were clean. Can you ask much more of a FF. I think NOT!

This place has the location every McDonald’s owner wants. Right off 95, next to a gas station. No lie, I road tripped down to Florida in June and to Georgia in March and some how stopped at this exit on both trips. Can only imagine how many people stop here each day. Service was good on my stop. Food was consistent with any Micky D’s I’ve had. No real complaints, but nothing to really rave about other than the location.

After sitting at the drive-thru speaker 5 minutes with no one ahead of me, I went across the road to Zaxby’s. The management of this McDonald’s doesn’t even care enough to respond to my concerns. I do not recommend this location.

McDonald’s is a known quantity, and I expect consistency regardless of location. The one at the intersection of I-95 and highway 327 in Florence, SC is convenient, but not consistent. Service and cleanliness vary widely, and seem to depend on how busy the place is. On a recent visit, during an off-peak time, everything was as expected, save for the $ 1 any size drink promotion. When ordering a small soda, my friend had the largest size cup foisted on him because «it’s the same price.» Note to McDonald’s: just because it’s the same price, doesn’t mean I want to drink my weight in soda. In the future, please listen to your customers. Thank you.
