Walked in sit down at the bar and had the order placed in 2 minutes. Drinks in less than 5 minutes. A lot better than next door at Applebee’s. Drinks were well made and he checked on us several times during the visit.

I travel a lot and was pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere, outstanding food, and reasonable prices. Next time I’m in the area I’ll go back

Looking for your typical American fare, but tired of places like Applebees(do people still go there?) or Fridays… give Raffertys a try. Similar menus, but I feel like the quality of food at Raffertys is less mass produced and more individually prepared. Huge salads and my husbands favorite is the club sandwich, which is also fairly large. The dressings are homemade and they have good fries. The cocktails are pretty quality to, good bloody marys. The feel is warm and cozy, reminds me of an 1980’s ski chalet(theres even an area of seating near a fireplace) They also have a bar area and lots of tvs for sports watching. Try it the next time you aren’t feeling too adventurous but want to go somewhere new. I think you’ll be pleased.

Nope. Sloppy staff. Ranch dressing(or something) fingerprints on my beverage glass. They grabbed the signed receipt before we were even close to leaving. Food was crap too. Overcooked salmon.

So mediocre! The menu doesn’t really isn’t that exciting and the service was a bit off too. I ordered half a club and a baked potato. The potato was very good but there was just something about the club that I didn’t like. I couldn’t tell if it was the bread or the meat. The best part about this place are the croissants. Go to O’Charley’s for a better meal.

Do you enjoy food poisoning? If not I would avoid this place like the plague. My little sisters soccer team was down from Dayton for a tournament. The parents all decided to stay at a hotel in Florence so they all wanted to eat there. This place sadly had the best ratings out of all the places in Florence. So I could ahead and asked them if they could have a table ready for 21 people. They said they could in an hour. We waited an hour before heading over to the restaurant and when I got there they still didn’t have a table(s) ready. We waiting another thirty minutes. Here is the thing, if they were going to have a problem doing this or were incapable of doing so, they could have just told me on the phone that they were unable to do so. It would have been fine, we could have gone somewhere else. Not the end of the world status. We all sit-down and we wait for a good twenty minutes before we even get our drinks. One of the parents even waiting 40 minutes just for his beer while everyone else who ordered at the same time already had theirs. We had one server. If you have a table this big, you should have at least two servers on it, or else have other servers helping you run food and drinks out. We ordered our food and didn’t get it for an hour. By the time our food came out I was so full of soda and water that I barely had an appetite left. My brother and I both ordered a chicken tender platter. Because I don’t trust places like this and I thought you possibly couldn’t mess up chicken tenders. They were a giant plate of chicken tenders, horribly breaded and extremely peppery. I couldn’t even finish them. A handful of parents ordered stakes and they all had to be sent back because they were all rare. No one asked for their stake rare and either asked for it well done or well. Their stakes were basically still alive on their plates. The best part about everyone sending the stakes back is seeing the«Cooks» in the back yelling and mad and looking out at all of us because they sent them back. Do your job right, and then no one would have to send your crappy food back. That’s a bright idea. The food was extremely high priced for crap I’m sure they warmed up from the freezer. $ 14 for chicken tenders. Ridiculous. For this reason, alone I wouldn’t go to this place if you have a big group or kids. After eating some of my chicken I had to run to the bathroom and get sick. It was automatically making me sick. While trying to leave the bathroom which was small and packed I was trying to wash my hands but there was such a huge line because of their employees was changing clothes and doing her hair and makeup getting ready to leave work. Go home and do that stuff! Get out of the way, this isn’t a house. Also, it’s kind of gross. When we were leaving two of the parents looked at the wall next to the kitchen by where we were sitting and asked me «What’s that?» and I turned and looked and there was a giant roach crawling up the wall. Disgusting. My brother, myself and two other parents who ordered chicken were up all night and the whole next day throwing up and having other stomach problems. We clearly got food poisoning. Which is the worse feeling ever. Luckily none of the little kids ordered chicken and none of them got sick, but it still infuriates me how thoughtless the people working here obviously are in every shape or form. Avoid this place. Just go anywhere else.

Not very impressed at all. We are here at 730pm on a Sunday. We were seated right away by a nice hostess. Our server was rather dull and just not very clean looking. They wear white which I understand is hard to keep clean, but he had food stains all over his shirt. We ordered our food and when it came out it wasn’t right. My daughter ordered the bacon burger dressed with fries, my other daughter ordered a bacon burger plain with no side. Both cooked medium. I got a spinach salad with added grilled chicken and my husband got chicken Alfredo. They brought three bacon burgers out. All looked cooked well, all had something different on them and two orders of fries. My husbands chicken was burnt black. Not charred or seared but burnt. My salad was decent but it was supposed to have candied pecans on it… I found three. It was over run with purple onion. I love onion but had to pick it off bc I’ll bet it was an entire onion. My chicken was half burnt. The server said he was sorry for the extra burger and fries and they snatched it up fast as could be. My husband asked them to make sure it was not on our bill. Not once were we checked on until our meal was almost complete. So we ate the burned chicken. We will not be coming back here. Maybe another rafferty’s will get our business but not this one. We got the fixed bill and was floored that they will not take a $ 10 meal(bacon burger) and reduce the price at all for no side! We paid $ 10 for an overlooked burger!

One of my favorites places to go to dinner on the weekends. I love the ribs and the sweet potato loaded. I also enjoy the homey atmosphere. The staff is friendly and service is always on point! Great work Rafferty’s!

Bottom Line: Mediocre. There are enough places within walking distance to try next time. Disclaimer — after trying the other places — there’s nothing that says I won’t be back here… but nothing impressed me enough to not explore the other readily available options. Walked in and went to the bar. It was quiet when I first got here. Bartender greeted me quickly. IMHO — even the menu is pretty mediocre. There was nothing on the app menu that screamed«You Must Try Me!» … and I’m a pretty easy mark. Creative menu writing is an art. I’ve been conned into ordering things that sounded great and came out… eh…fine. At least this menu didn’t sugar coat the basics. I didn’t want a burger. I didn’t want to go all healthy and have a dinner salad or salmon so I figured I would order a Ribeye Steak. I ordered it medium rare and it was leaning way closer to rare. It was a little chewy. It came with a salad and a side. The salad was the most impressive part of the meal. It was a very nice mix of greens. Chopped tomatoes and little crispy bits — like shredded wontons. It also had a very light and fluffy roll/croissant on top with a sweet glaze on top. I got broccoli as my side — I WASTRYING to be healthy– it was firm and green but otherwise flavorless. When I ordered I asked the bartender for blue cheese on my steak. She said«Crumbles or Butter?» I asked which is better? She said«I don’t know, I never eat any of that» Also asked«How’s your coleslaw?» The answer was«It’s kind of grainy, not finely chopped …» So funny — a guy sat down next to me and asked the same thing — she gave the same answer and he looked at her kind of crossed eyed too. The guy on the other side of me asked«Can you make a mean Bloody Mary?» She responded I don’t know. I don’t drink that“ Hmmmm… Tell me — «I don’t eat that but most people rave about the butter over the crumbles». Or tell the guy -«Our Bloody Mary’s are really popular» or «I wouldn’t say the BM is our strong suit». I don’t know about you but I always look for direction and honesty from my servers. Again, IMHO that was a little too honest = disinterested. Bottom Line: If I’m stuck at the hotel next door again AND it’s raining I’ll come back. But next time I’m here — if the weather is cooperative — I’ll explore.

The restaurant was not busy and we were seated promptly. We did wait quite a few minutes before a server acknowledged us for drinks and finally someone who wasn’t our server asked us for a drink order. That took a little longer then normal as well. Finally, our server asked to take our orders and the food came out quick. However, the steak was ordered medium and came out raw. I don’t mean under cooked i mean raw. The pork chops were over cooked. Our server only came back once to ask what my husband was drinking and brought only his drink. Then a few minutes later we see him walk out and a new server introduced himself. We asked for the check, we won’t be back.

We’ve been to rafferty’s a couple times. Both were a fairly standard meal and service, nothing exceptional or poor to note. Last night was probably the last time we’ll visit. It was Thursday night, 5:00 with a fairly light crowd. My son & I sat inside in a booth. The waitress was friendly and prompt, but didn’t know if there were specials or happy hour, no big deal. We ordered an app and our meals. Food: this is why we won’t be back. Queso needs more flavor Chips were stale, they finally brought fresh ones Chicken tenders had no flavor! My chicken breast dish had the skin on it. Weird, I’ve never ordered a chicken breast dinner in a restaurant that came like that. I scraped off the overly smoked ham and cheese to peel off the skin. And the broccoli had a weird fish taste. I don’t know how broccoli could be messed up… We probably won’t visit this location again

Nice patio, potential to be better. I ordered the baby back ribs and it was very dry. Jerky is even softer. The server was nice to replace it but yet again it was dry. The sauce of it is fantastic. …I used it for me fries. Someone should pull then out of the smoker, even applebees have softer ribs than this. Wanted to give a 2.5 stars because it’s all about the food. Server was nice though but let me recover from these sore jaws of mine.

This place is way over priced! Food was nothing to write home about. Very disappointed! I would have rather gone to Denny’s then Rafferty’s.

Good food, good service, great bar. Avoid the prime rib, just not up to par, however when I complained they comped the meal… very professional. Great for a family, or a date, you won’t be disappointed.

Just had lunch here and our server Wes suggested the blackened Mahi Mahi and asparagus and it was insanely good! The price was awesome for how big of a piece it was! Too bad there isn’t more locations!

Huge dining area. Good bar space. Lot’s of t. v’s. As for the food, they have honey glazed rolls, the starter salad has potato chips, and the tuna steak is two and a half fingers thick. On top of all that is a bartender that knows her business. No one will walk out of here disappointed.

I’ve been going to Rafferty’s consistently for over a decade and I really appreciate the restaurant’s versatile menu being one that is always in the position of trying to please multiple indecisive palates on a fairly regular basis. I know some will never give the restaurant it’s credit due to being a small regional operation that has multiple locations, but Raferty’s manages to do a lot of things pretty well, yet nothing that blows your mind(in terms if quality). I do take special note of heir salads and appetizers — while they aren’t incredibly unique, Rafferty’s attempts to put their own spin on them by adding ingredients you wouldn’t see at other restaurants(especially salads and salad dressings). Service is generally good, although I’ve had some bad experiences at this particular location, and you can always find something to eat regardless of your mood(unless you are seeking a non-domestic cuisine). It’s a solid utility restaurant to have in the rotation in the event you find yourself in this part if town(which is rare for us).

Pregnant wife + fried mushrooms to go = gigando win for husband. My wife wanted two things the other night — a chili cheeseburger and fried mushrooms. I’m not making this up. I probably have 15 tabs open in chrome before I found the solution. I looked at mad Mike’s, five guys, Wendy’s, Ruby Tuesday’s, smash burger, and any other burger joint I could think of. None of them had fried mushrooms. And then came the savior, Rafferty’s! We ordered a side of those fried mushrooms with their horseradish honey mustard sauce and they were devoured by my first trimestering wife. A steak and shake less than a mile away was the answer to the chili cheeseburger. Bliss! I can’t speak too much to the restaurant’s service itself since we didn’t go in. In the past I get the fried chicken salad with the honey croissant and I’m always happy. But for this time around, curbside was the way to go!
