This store is awful all the way around, terrible customer service, they are very overpriced and there produce is terrible. I had an experience with a store manager here that I believe should be fired for the way she handled the situation, her name was Carol. She is very unprofessional and rude. I will never shop here again.

The fried chicken here is great! This is the only reason I come here. The prices is not competitive with other local stores. The cashiers were very nice. They currently have sale on plants. If prices will be comparable r cheaper to other stores and give adequate gas points I might shop more at this store.

Not a bad place to shop, but come on with the prices remkee… I know your trying to be Wal-Mart but having what. im guess 4 stores in a 10 mile radius now? but enough is enough. Focus on your customer not building more buildings. Occasionally you will find a good deal here. Typically they are pricier then others and they seem to like the idea that people want to pay more then full price for stuff then fill out a rebate to get money back… Anyway Decent Store, Non Competitive prices, they are big enough now and have the pull to compete, would be nice to see it.

Remke Markets is a LOCAL store. Plain and simple, it is a Cincinnati(although really NKY) original. This particular location used to be a Thriftway Marketplace(what happened to Thriftway anyway?) before it became Remke Markets. Then Remke bought Biggs(which had its location just down the street), and that is how it stands today. For me, Remke Markets is everything that Walmart is not. It’s easy to navigate, it’s not a «big box», it’s not life-altering(at Walmart, the longer you’re there, the more you feel like it’s sucking the life out of you). And the best part? Remke carries gallon jugs of my Tradewinds Extra Sweet Tea, which Walmart does not. That right there gets an «epic win» from me. I also pick up my personal needs goods here on a regular basis, as well as some other foodstuff that I eat regularly. In short, Remke does one thing — groceries — and it does it well enough to get five stars from me!

Clean and serve Busken baked goods. I was able to find what i needed. I am comparing this to the Krogers on 42 and the Mt Zion.

I’m giving this Remke a 4 star, not a 5 star rating, simply because there are items that they don’t carry at this location, that they do at the Crescent Springs store(because of the economic placement of this store). Having said that, I love to shop here. Always clean, the staff is always wonderful, and though they have a smaller produce and deli than other stores and no olive bar, each area is immaculate, and all offerings are fresh or prepared daily. They have a large selection of ethnic foods that is a holdover from Biggs, which I really appreciate. Much more selection than Kroger could ever dream of, even in their larger«Marketplace» stores. But then, there’s this: The customer service. Stellar. A few days ago, I noted that they had stopped carrying Snowville Creamery milk in the dairy section. I buy it regularly when we run out from Green Bean(and it’s a $ 1.00 cheaper at Remke). I called and spoke with the Dairy Mgr, who called his Snowville Rep, his corp. office and then called me back to tell me that the only location in Kentucky carrying Snowville was Crescent Springs – again, due to the economic placement of the store, they just didn’t sell enough, even though he believed it to be a superior product. He then said, «if Crescent Springs isn’t convenient for you, just give me a call and I’d be happy to pick a few up and bring them to our store for you…» Wow! For this alone, I’m happy to spend a few dollars extra on average!

Your normal grocery store. The employees were all very friendly. Especially the little old lady offering Apple juice samples :) Their meat selection didn’t have much variety as I am used to back in DE. Same goes for the seafood — which is why I’m rating this with 3 stars. Overall, I can’t complain! I even dropped a glass bottle at check out(which didn’t break! Close call) and the guy bagging my groceries went and grabbed me another one. I can’t believe how friendly people are around here! At least in my experiences so far.
