The food was good, lots of parking. I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs. This is not for a small appetite, much larger than I expected but the price did not reflect it. Reasonably priced.

Stopped in this café on a road trip down hwy 101. Seemed like we were the only non-locals, but were made to feel welcome. Service was prompt & courteous. The food was really good. I had the fish sandwich. Fish was crispy & the bread held up well. Would definitely stop again if I’m ever I the area.

Not the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had and the hashbrowns were very greasy.

If you’re looking for a bite to eat Dunes is the place to go. Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had! It’s the perfect place to go if you’re going up or down the coast. I’ll be stopping here once again before I head back down to California. #6 combo!!!

Stumbled upon this small café next to a laundromat and hardware store. Just happened to be around the lunch hour and since I forgot breakfast before breaking camp I opted for a quick burger. Was served real quick, even before I could walk back to my RV and return with payment. It was hot, had the typical fixings and met the approval of my stomach. May return again when in the area.

I loved the bacon, eggs, and pancake. My husband had the fish and chips and it was lacking. I say it’s a great breakfast place. Small, intimate, and a little old.

Good solid choice for breakfast. I haven’t eaten lunch here yet, but based on the breakfast, I would guess lunch is very good as well. Large portions, friendly service, and decent prices. Better than several of the breakfast spots in Florence. Definitely a small café catering to locals. And that makes it so appealing!

Food was sub par at best, very greasy and didn’t taste like much. Booths were dirty, silverware felt greasy and the glassware was not spot free.

Good food, great service! Very small place and the food is solid. Came with my dad for breakfast before a day of fishing. I had a number 5, Dad had The number 3. The white gravy was a little spicy for my dad, but just right for me. The bacon was cooked perfectly! The only thing was we ordered dry toast but ended up with rye instead. Lol. But it was good rye! More importantly, My Dad’s egg was actually cooked over hard, as ordered. I would definitely come here again.

Wanted to give this place a good rating. Food was just so so. My hubby had the biscuit and gravy. Said the gravy was good but the biscuit was old and stale. My Chciken fried steak was set upon my hasbrowns, which made them soggy. Not much flavor here either. The waiter could hardly be bothered with us when we asked questions.

Prices are reasonable. Place is busy and filled with sounds of chatter and laughing. Service is a little slow. But they keep it together. Food is ok. Pancakes are pretty tasty.

On Saturdays they have an amazing Prime Rib Special. They serve great American food. Their chicken fried steal is to die for. Other favorites, biscuits and gravy, and all of their breakfasts. The service is fast and efficient. The waiters and waitresses Are so entertaining to watch. Their efficiency amazes me. I always leave a tip for the cook too since she works so hard. Simply delicious, plus large portions. I love it that you can see the food prepared It’s an intimate setting with little Privacy, and that’s half the fun.

Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, my favorite place to eat breakfast. I love the french toast, and I would recommend it to anyone… oh and the waffles too! I can’t even eat a burger anywhere else anymore. This place has truly stolen my heart.

Biscuits the size of a ping pong paddle with hearty country gravy and that small town service you know and love. A half order of biscuits and gravy(that could feed two) cost me only $ 3.95 and a cup of coffee was an additional buck. Dunes Café has that everybody knows your name charm, decent prices, and you can stop by on your way over from Eugene(it’s just off 126 as you enter town). The café is small and located next to the laundromat and in the shopping complex with True Value hardware. Bob Welch from the Register Guard has a nice story about Dunes café here:
