My girlfriends and I made this our first stop on our Nky wine tour. The staff was so nice and the owner was very knowledgeable, but the young man that did our tasting had some trouble pronouncing the name of certain wines. I do think he needs a little more wine education. His fun personality though made up for it. This place is perfect for sweet, fruity wine lovers. If you like dry wines they have 3 to try. I will be buying more of their wine for my friends and to entertain for sure! Crowd pleasers.

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! they are rude. Dont rely on them to be the expert if you dont know about wine crafting because they are not helpful. they will make you feel stupid at your lack of knowledge.

I was recommended here by a friend. I made wine several years ago and wanted to get back into. I came in and looked around for a bit and Mark came to the rescue. I explained my ok knowledge and he led me through everything else. Explained to me step to step what I should do and then explained even further. Exactly what I needed to get my confidence up in making wine again. He has everything you need and is very knowledgable. I will be back to get the supplies I need as I make batch after batch! He also gave me his card and said call if I had any questions as I made my wine.

I came here with my husband for a beer making class one Thursday night a few weeks ago. He was just starting to get into the whole«brewing your own beer» thing and the class that Mark taught was just what he needed in order to gain the confidence he needed to brew his first batch. Mark knows what he’s talking about and can answer any questions, from the simple to the complex. He is what I would call an expert on this subject! They have a good selection of supplies for your beer and wine making pleasure. In addition to the supplies, Mark sells wine that he makes himself under the name of «Serendipity Winery» and boy is it GOOD! I bought a small 4-pack of his fruit flavored wines and I was blown away by how good they were. In fact, any time my husband goes in there to buy beer supplies, he usually picks me up a few more. Just a side note * they are closed on Sundays, so try to visit this place after work or while running around on a Saturday afternoon in Florence. And try to avoid going while a big game or other sporting event is happening because they share the parking lot with Buffalo Wild Wings and parking can fill up quickly.

If you are new to homebrewing or winemaking or are a seasoned veteran Tri-State has your ingredient and equipment needs covered. As a homebrewer Tri-State has become my primary supply shop. Mark has a great selection of grain available by the pound and in bulk for all-grain brewers and extract and kits for the partial grain/extract brewers. They always have a great stock of popular and occasionally hard to find hops in pellet and leaf form. Tri-State carries dry yeast and White Labs liquid vials and usually has a broad variety and almost always has what I am looking for. Aside from the ingredients, they have a nice selection of equipment from mash tuns and kettles, thermometers and sanitizers, kegging equipment and everything in between. It is likely that if you have a homebrew need that they can fill it or order it. I don’t make wine but they seem to have a large amount of winemaking equipment and ingredients and the owner is a seasoned wine maker — so I trust he sells what you wine makers need. On top of having ingredients they also sell their house brand of Serendipity wines. The prices seem reasonable on most everything — some a little high and others a bit lower than other local sources — everything cheaper for me when I take gas and travel time into consideration to hit one of the other local shops. Ready to take the leap into beer or wine making, they offer regular intro classes for each. Stop in to sign up and look out for the occasional brewing demonstration. This is a great shop and I am really glad to have brewing supplies available so close in NKY. Support your local homebrew supply shop!

Friends of mine just started beer making and I tagged allong a trip to this store for some grain. They have a ton of stuff, from starter kits to raw materials to make your own recipe. If you’re new to beer brewing, they have lessons too!

If you are considering homebrewing, TriState Beer and Wine Crafting has everything you need to take you batch by batch from beginner«kit brewing» through«all grain» brewing. The store, next to the Florence Buffalo Wild Wings, is bright, well-organized, well-stocked, and progressive in its inventory. You can join an expanding community of Northern Kentucky brewers, receive a newsletter, and attend classes suited to your level of experience. Mark, the owner, and Evan are great hosts and seem to be trying something new each time I show up. I am not a winemaker yet, but that side of the store seems equally well-stocked and some of Mark’s homemade wines are for sale at a very reasonable price. Cincinnati water is great for home-brewing and this is a great craft shop by all standards.
