I love this place, breakfast is awesome, people are so nice and the new addition hash brown casserole is amazing :) Will keep coming for breakfast. Need to try lunch next. I’m sure it’s great as well.

4÷30÷2015 Breakfast was great. 5÷6÷2015 I brought a friend back with me to try the dinner menu. We like good home cooking. I noticed they had chicken and dumplings. One of our favorite meals. Bad Mistake. Chicken and dumplings were cold. Waitress took both orders back to reheat in microwave. It was the worst meal I have had out in over 20 + years. Rolls were put in microwave to heat. Green Beans were not seasoned. Right out of a can. They were hot with no taste. Three waitresses stood at the cash register and chatted almost all the time we were dinning. Would not go back and tell me friends worst restaurant in Florence. Retired and could have been a regular. KB

We were hoping for a great meal based on Unilocal reviews. Tables were unclean and staff was just standing around(even the owner) doing nothing about it. Order was delivered wrong and server had an attitude when we asked to have our table wiped down because it was dirty. Food is nothing special; gravy was lumpy and tasted like flour. If you like reheated frozen food this is the place for you.

Very good food in a basic restaurant. Service was great. First time we from Columbus had«Goetta»(Cincinnati style sausage), liked how they were able to put it in a Western omelette instead of ham… and Also great that they grilled up a blueberry muffin for us! My husband liked the cranberry almond salad!

Friendly staff and clean. Just average. The mugs of coffee are a bonus and vaguely reminiscent of diner mugs. Service prompt and place clean. Goetta is a bonus here. Hash browns disappointing for fans of true home fries or hash browns. These are deep fried potato squares. Overall — okay. Not a rerun vm visit though.

Good food at great prices. Was there the day after the Republicans took the Senate. And we’re right in the middle of Mitch McConnell’s state… :P Nice people also!

Diner style breakfast plates any time of day while you listen to Zeppelin, Hendrix, and The Beatles? Yes please. Just the way God wanted it. Plus, a few big screens to catch the game. Their dinner specials always look great but any time I’m there I can’t get myself to NOT get a double decker and some fries sprinkled with cheese. I don’t know if their desserts are good because I’ve never had room for them. I love this hidden gem!

Z’s is a great place for breakfast. The food is good and the servings are generous. My friends love the goetta but I prefer the biscuits and gravy. The staff is always friendly.

A hometown, local joint. Good food at a reasonable price. The place is always clean and family friendly. I prefer their chicken wraps and their homemade chili.

It was called County Café is now Z’s. Big, bright and clean dinning room done up in in 70’s movie posters and the era’s music playing in the background. I had the grilled chicken wrap that came with the options of white, wheat, lettuce and spinach wrap and different sauces. Quite the variety for a wrap. The menu is sandwich base with limited selection of dinner items in the far lower right of the menu. I think it was a bargain for $ 6.87. Not including the tip. While it was just one item it wasn’t that exceptional. I’m afraid Z’s means somewhat boring food. zzzzzzzzzzz

I think besides the top-notch service, everything else was«just ok» across the board. We ordered a breakfast and lunch dish and nothing between them was impressive. It’s totally predictable diner food in a really clean, well-kept restaurant.

My 10 year old son and I ate dinner there this evening(Wednesday) because kids under 12 eat free. I had a reuben that was delicious and wound up ordering a second one to bring home. The light rye bread was toasted just right and it was one of the best reubens I’ve had and would be competitive against Izzy’s. Friendly staff, very clean, family friendly.
