I love this place so much. The atmosphere the staff the owner, all incredible people. The pasta pouches and the tuna is to die for. The service was a little slow but it was very busy in there, so I totally understand.

I would give them no stars but I feel like being nice. Went with four people, none of us liked anything, my wife and her friend ordered 3 rounds of drinks, all the same drink, they kept coming in different size glasses, some times the glass was very small and other times normal size but they were charged the same price. We all got our meals and looked at it like, «are you kidding?» Jumbo shrimp-Not so jumbo. only 4 little pieces. Slimey rubber chicken special covered in nasty cheese. And my favorite, pork asso bucco, which usually falls off the bone, not in this case, it was a nasty tendon like tuff knotty gross appendage from some part of the animal that I dont want to know. I sent it back and got a microwaved one 45 minutes later, it came to the table steaming hot and was cold and stiff 2 minutes later. I am not even going to tell you something so disgusting about my dessert, because I cant prove it, but I do know it and I didnt touch it. Where was our waitress threw all of dinner??? that is what we would like to know also. Over 200.00 for four people, no appetizers, just entrée’s deserts and drinks, would I go back, NO.

Food was alright, waitress was not friendly, I felt like she was annoyed she had to serve us. Got the impression that since she didn’t think we were regulars we were beneath her. Baked clams were good, but my penne vodka sauce was really runny. I’ve been to the Copper Bottom many times(under all of its different owners) but this time makes me question going again.

Fabulous!!! Nice staff, great ambiance, family friendly, food is FAB! Ordered from the special menu… Osso Bucco, Lobster Bisque, cod over linguini w/mussels and clams! The Tiramisu was by far the best I’ve had! Definitely give Copper Bottom a shot!!! We will be back!!!

For a small town establishment, Copper Bottom delivers a surprisingly classy dining experience(see white table cloths). The versatile menu ranges from pizza and burgers to seafood and steaks, from chicken wings to sesame seared ahi tuna. Nicer entrees are generally a little under $ 20 and include a vegetable or two. We enjoyed the fried asparagus, blackened shrimp, warm brie salad, and complementary bread to start. For my entrée I ordered the chicken cordon bleu from their list of specials for the evening. It was generously portioned and came with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. It could have been better seasoned, but it wasn’t anything a little salt couldn’t fix.

Open on Mondays, GREAT! Friendly staff, quick service, food was above average. I ordered the filet mignon, it was cooked perfect but I didn’t care for the sides. We also ordered the tomato and mozzarella appetizer; good but the slices were cut way too thick. Over all above average. My only gripe was one small fly that continued to pester us while we were eating, I chalked it up to being a fluke thing. I would try this place again.

Our nephew drove up from Princeton to visit, so we all went out to dinner here. Had steaks, lobster, brews, the works. Every single item was superb — the breads, salads, perfectly-cooked steaks — everything. We had a very enjoyable visit, due in no small part to this great«find» of a restaurant in such a small town. The parking lot was packed, but they got us right in, so don’t let a full lot deter you. Go there and enjoy!

My husband and I heard of this place from old friends and needed to try it out for ourselves. We are so happy we did! The environment seemed welcoming and the menu was awesome! We were up in the air about a few items but our server gave us her recommendations and we were sold! We are a little older and my husband likes to ask every question in the book and it meant alot that she really took the time to explain any question we had. The place was very busy, it was a Saturday evening, and she never once seem annoyed or rushed us along. Meals came out in a timely manner and just how we ordered. We will definitely be returning and I recommend Jenn as your server! If you want great service, and an all around good experience ask for her :) I know we will next time!

We celebrated my daughters birthday at Copper Bottom. I do not understand the negative reviews. The waitstaff was courteous, friendly and quick. My daughters steak was made to her preference(medium) as well as my rib eye(medium — rare). My wife’s pork chop was also very good. The potato croquettes were also served hot and were delicious. At the end of the meal the waitress made fresh coffee for us. My one disappointment was that they were out of the flourless chocolate cake. Overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend the Copper Bottom to family and friends.

Despite what other Unilocalers may have said, I really enjoyed my time at Copper Bottom. Everyone at my table did as well. My burger was really great and was cooked how I ordered it. The fries were really light and crispy, and the apple cider bacon on my burger was really unique. The ambiance is nice. Everything looked good on the menu. Brunch comes with complimentary mimosas. My after dinner espresso was decent, and the waiter brought over Sambuca which put a smile on my face. I would definitely dine here again, but I live one hour away.

I’m shocked with the reviews! This place is awesome. I went for a lunch. My party had a burger, a steak, and a beef Bolognese. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was fast and our server was nice. The prices for lunch were more than reasonable. My burger was delicious, but the steak looked great– I’ll go with that next time.

Tried this place 3 times. Heard from friends it was good which is why I kept coming back — was I missing something? Third time was not the charm. None of the meat was ever good quality — always very fatty. Burned taste appetizers and so-so meals. Will not be back — for those prices I can cook a very nice meal at home and not have car headlights blinding me while I eat.

Very disappointed on our first dinner under the new owner! Our dinners were average at best! The service was bad! Never got bread and never refilled our water glasses! Very noisy from the bar side! Under the old ownership food was much better and we had a few good meals when Kevin was their! Will have to go to Bottoms Up!

We will not return to this place. We took my parents there for Mother’s Day Dinner last year and we were rushed through our dinner. They rushed us out. I understand on a day like this, for many restaurant owners each table is a big business. But we didn’t enjoy it. It was a bad experience. My steak was also gummy(not so good). We will not recommend this place to anybody.

Disappointing. We had heard about how good Copper Bottom was but had yet to dine there until Dec 2014. I got a summer salad and an Classic Chicken entrée which was way too much food. The salad was ok and I chose the Chicken Marsala, that did not have much flavor. My fella got a lobster bisque(also very large — maybe they could offer a cup & bowl size). He said it was ok. His Veal chop was fatty and rather tasteless. The service was fine but felt a bit overly formal for a more casual feeling restaurant. We found out later that the restaurant had changed hands early in 2014. I can’t make a comparison to the old place, but we did not enjoy our meal. Not likely to return.

Excellent dinner at Copper Bottom last night! Marco has done a fantastic job maintaining the high standards Kevin set for us, and the menu is familiar and yet, can see Marco’s distinctive touches in the dishes. Solari’s in Hackensack was very popular when Marco ran it, and I’m so glad he took over Copper Bottom and brought his level of expertise to Florida and Orange County. Wait staff was very attentive, food was FANtastic and restaurant ran well. Very accommodating for our kids and yet felt like an adult dining experience. Can’t wait to go back.
