Such a fun place to take the kids during the summer months! This is literally a caboose outside of Flossmoor Station. They offer ice cream and sundaes, and there is a lovely patio to sit on and watch the trains go by. The ice cream is delicious and the scoops are large!

I think I’m kind of like the Beggin’ Strips dog when it comes to gelato, I hear the word, and I gotta have gelato!
I spotted this place on my way into the restaurant next door and after eating I headed right back out to see if they were open. Success was mine! Bananas Foster gelato, 4 ounce for just a couple of bucks. I thought about topping it with one of the options, but then figured why mess with a good thing? Yum!
