I paid $ 10.11 for sweet n sour chicken and a bottle of water. The sweet n sour chicken platter was $ 7.07, which on menu states it includes stir fried rice and a chicken egg roll. I received mine with white rice and NO egg roll.

3.5 stars. Pretty decent place. I go for the lunch special at $ 5.99. Includes soup and eggroll, not too shabby on the price. The Eggroll is light and crispy. The filling is airy and not filled with stuffings. Better than most fast food place. Tables has a strange glare to them. Seems oily but they are not. Not attractive. You get a sense that they are dirty, so cannot fully put your silverware onto it. Or even your cellphone. The wonton chips that comes with the soup– so day are nice and crispy and someday they are a little stale. Here are my 3 favorite dish in no particular order. Mongolian beef, Kung Pao chicken, and Shrimp in Garlic sauce. All 3 are classified as spicy on the menu.

Friendly service, but food has no flavor or excitement to it. French fries sound better right now. Ordered Buddha bowl(they have a couple of vegetarian options). Although it it is a big portion and seems to be fresh veggies, they drowned it in this gelatin red sauce that is supposedly spicy but I hardly taste anything. It’s a goopy mess. Also they didn’t give the tofu any loving

I ordered chicken and broccoli off the lunch menu. Most bland Chinese dish I’ve ever had. No flavor. Crab Rangoon, if you can even call it there, were stale and zero flavor. Stay away from this place. What do we have to do to get good Chinese in FloMo?!?

I’m totally a fan. Hubby and I have been here a couple times and now i see they have ONLINEORDERFORDELIVERY! OMG, on those lazy Friday nights when you hit the pjs too early, its perfect. Food is good, really love the Mei Fun. As far as American Chinese restaurants goes, it does the trick.

Warning this place is not good. Went there with my wife and we ordered and went to sit down and the floor and tables were sticky, ok so we wiped the table off(which in my mind is ok if the food is good). Got out food and started eating. After a little bit my wife discovered a hair in her meal so she stopped eating, I continued because I did not find anything unwarranted in my meal. We got a box for my left overs and went home, the next day I heated mine up and started eating, just like my wife’s meal a hair popped up in my meal. NEVERAGAIN. If you go there bring a hair net for the people cooking your food or you will have a chia pet in your meal

maybe some of the worst chinese i have had in a while. I am not some chinese snob, I like the same kind most of you do. this place is awful. rangoon filled with no crab of any kind, just a sugary cream cheese. Egg rolls are really spring rolls, worst fried rice i ever had, and the orange chicken was slimy and nasty. Stay away

There are not a lot of great Chinese places in the Lewisville/Flower Mound/Highland Village area. Many of their competitors have slightly better food with a much larger price. Café 407 seems to be the best of both worlds in this area. The food is good, but not amazing. They accommodate special orders without any issues, and you can order online if you’re in a rush. The staff is friendly and will call if there is an issue or question before they prepare the food. The price is decent and portions are more than fair. We can get a 3 entrees and a side or two for under $ 50 with delivery. If you’re really craving great Chinese food, this is probably not the place. However, if it’s Friday night and you want something decent delivered that is not pizza, then this is the place.

Terrible experience. We walked in and the owners were eating at the table(nothing wrong with this) but odd. The food was disgusting. I ordered a vegetable soup that had no taste and this was the best thing out of the meal. The beef used was low grade with lots of fat. The chicken was so hard which is unsual. Needless to say we throw the food away.

My daughter and I went for breakfast last week and really enjoyed the food. The service was good and our waiter was helpful regarding menu selections. The prices are decent but they ding you in any substitutions or extras. Pancakes were great and so was the pulled pork migas. When the waiter asked my daughter if she wanted bacon, I was unaware two small bacon slices would add $ 2.50 to the bill. Would have been 5 stars without all the substitution and price gouges.

We saw café 407 and wanted to give it a try since we’re relatively new to area and were feeling adventurous. Ordered chk/broc and 4seasons. Both were terrible! Chk was suspect with strange red spots. The egg rolls should be called cabbage rolls. «Fried rice» apparently just means rice is cooked in oil– no egg, veggies, or taste. Not even sure which meat in the 4 seasons had the bright red appearance(pork maybe?) but it had a slithery-fatty texture. The sauce was slim sauce w no taste. The wontons were stale.. The service was friendly but food was so bad neither of us could eat it. The whole meal went in the trash and ended up getting fast food. I see some 5-star reviews in broken English… hmmmmm.

This was average at best. I had the hot and sour soup, & garlic chicken. It had a decent kick but the flavor was bland compared to other places I have tried. Same with the dumplings. The filling was bland but at least the dipping sauce was tasty. I was hoping to have discovered a new little gem based on the reviews but was so disappointed I don’t even want to eat my leftovers.

We’ve been patronizing this place since they opened! Still THEBEST place to get your fried rice fix! We’ve lived in different parts of the metroplex and can honestly say that no other Chinese restaurant makes their fried rice like them. Mom and I loooooooveLOVElooooooove the Vegetable Fried Rice with a kick… yes, spicy! Try it… you’ll never eat it without the spice again! hahaha! Hubs usually gets the Cashew Chicken or Blackbean Chicken and we mix it in with our veggie fried rice… YUMMYGOODNESS! Can’t get enough! The serving is ginormous, so we always have food for the next day and is just as good as leftovers! CONCLUSION: 5 Stars! Atmosphere = 5 Stars(always clean, nothing«fancy», laid back and friendly) Food = 5 Stars(okay, we love them!) Service = 5 Stars(they’re always happy and smiling… ready to serve!)

I really enjoy this place for the service that you get. The employees and the servers are set on making sure that you are well taken care of. They’re very good with children, as my friend and I learned. :) it’s always nice to find a place like that. I enjoy the shrimp fried rice myself, because I’m pretty basic, but be careful because what you order will be enough to feed a small army! That’s another reason I love this place. Leftovers. Delicious, delicious shrimp fried rice left overs. It makes my day for like, two days afterwards. Just sayin’. The food you order is meant to be split between a few people, I think, and it’s pretty fantastic! I get to try a buncha everything! Woop woop!

We’ve been going here for years. When wanting Chinese take out — only place we’ll go to… and being up by «the Mound» — the drive is worth the monotonous Morriss Road to pick it up. Flavorful, tasty, good portions, and decently priced. Our favs: spicy Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Lady currently working there is very friendly and nice.

I’ve gone here off and on for years. I hadn’t been in a long time, for no particular reason other than maybe location, but now the nail salon I frequent is next door, so I decided to go there today for a quick lunch. Glad I did! I had forgotten how flavorful, reasonably priced, and good the food was. I got the garlic chicken lunch special, which came with fried rice, an egg roll(perfect crispiness and flavor) and a cup of either egg drop or hot and sour soup, for around $ 6 – 7. What a deal! The sauce with the chicken dish was perfect. It was all very, very good and filled me up. I remember their lo main noodle dish as being excellent too. I will be stopping in here again more regularly after I get my nails done next door at Glamour Nails! Win-win!!!

This place is fairly cheap and delicious. It has been a «go-to» restaurant for our family for years, and I can’t remember ever having a bad experience with their food. Most of their business is probably take-out, but it is a good dine-in place too — nothing fancy of course, but they serve the food on actual china, the place is clean, and the staff is friendly and gets the food out fast, so it’s a great place to stop in for a quick meal. If I could do half stars I’d do 4.5.

Yummy food(try the sesame chicken in particular) for reasonable prices. It’s pretty Americanized, but hey, sometimes that’s just what you need. The menu is simple, which makes decision-challenged people like myself quite happy. I noticed that they’re also offering beef noodle soup now, which kinda takes me back to California. I might try that next time. The only reason it didn’t get 4 stars is because my stomach(2 hours after eating) is not too happy with me right now. Not sure I can blame the food so much as my stomach, though. It has mood swings.
