Dial-A-Maid

Not only did this company do an excellent and thorough job on my move out clean, they were also very, very accommodating when circumstances arose that restricted the original date we had scheduled. Julie was a pleasure to talk to and always got right back to me — and we spoke on the phone often! I highly recommend dial-​a-​maid, so professional and easy going. I will absolutely use them again!

I’ll be the first to admit that I am not a good cleaner. I pretty much only clean my apartment whenever I know I am expecting company. That usually includes hiding all the dirty clothes, making sure the counters are clean, and sweeping just a little bit. I don’t even think I’ve ever properly dusted anything in my life =/​So when it came time to move out of my apartment, I knew I couldn’t do it alone.
The first place I called gave me a decent quote but I knew better than to take the first choice. The second place said they wanted to see my apt before they would do anything at all. I was moving out in less than a week and definitely didn’t have time for that. The third place didn’t even pick up their phone!
Then. I called Dial A Maid. I spoke with Julie and for a 2bed/​2bath (move in/​move out clean), she quoted me about 37+tax per hour. She said it would take about 4.5−5 hrs total. I ultimately decided to go with Dial A Maid because Julie was so sweet on the phone and very helpful.
The two ladies they sent over were very efficient. They tackled each room together and were pretty thorough. After they left, I went to inspect the rooms and appliances. HOLY SMOKES! The bathtub, oven, and fridge were waaaaay cleaner than when I first moved in. Everything looked brand spanking new! The last apt I moved out of, I ended up buying new drip pans for the stove instead of cleaning them. Nope, not these ladies. They scrubbed the ever living crap out of those things and made them look new again.
I would have given 5 stars but they missed just a couple of spots. Not exactly their fault because only someone who lived there would have really been able to spot them.
Overall, a great first time experience with calling a cleaning service!

After being away from my apartment for nearly three months, I figured it would be helpful to have someone come in and get rid all of the dust bunnies that had accumulated during my absence.
Off to Google I went!
Dial-​A-​Maid was one of the first services that popped up. I e-​mailed and was promptly called back by a very nice woman (the owner, I assume?) named Julie. Julie asked me if I had any questions and went over pricing with me. At no time was there ever any pressure to make an appointment — in fact, I was the one who finally said I’d like to schedule an appointment, so thumbs up for no pressure sales tactics!
Today, the two maids arrived right on time. I asked them how long and she told me to check in after an hour. I came back an hour later and one of them was totally hardcore scrubbing my shower and the other was underneath my bed with a pile of who knows what. So… I came back after another hour.
When I came back after the second hour, my apartment was spotless — baseboards cleaned, no dirt, residue, or debris anywhere. In fact, I think the place is cleaner than it was when I moved in.
Both maids were friendly and from what I saw, very respectful of my things. The price was a little bit steep, but that’s in large part due to the fact that this was my initial cleaning — subsequent cleanings are much cheaper, apparently.

Wait a second… you are going to send two people out to clean my house, top to bottom… and all I have to do is pay you? Whats the catch?
Great job! Everytime! I’ve recommended them to my boyfriend — who isn’t as much as a neat freak as me, but is very picky (duh! that’s why he’s with me). He has the bi-​weekly service and tells me his place is the cleanest it’s ever been with them. We’ve both used independent ladies to clean our places, but never have the ones we’ve personally used been as great as Dail a maid’s. The only complaint my boyfriend has had is that they’ve run late a couple of times.
