I have ordered Pizza from this Papa John’s for a couple of years. I have a house full of boys and they always want Papa John’s when we do take out pizza. Who am I to argue with a bunch of teen aged boys. It is all about having a reasonable expectation when you order fast food delivery from a restaurant that employs primarily high school kids and other first time employees. Papa John’s serves a really good thin crust pizza. Try it it sometime, I think you might be surprised!

Really sad… There are only four other reviews, and three people gave only one star as well. I called in my order. The kid who answered had no idea what specials were listed on the web site. Each time I told him what I wanted, he put me on «Hold» to check with the manager. It took ten minutes to order two pizzas and garlic knots. This is no exaggeration. When I arrived 10 minutes later to pick up my pizza, I was told that it would be a 25 – 35 minute wait because, «We just got behind.»

The delivery guy driving the maroon Mazda(on Saturday May 23 at 4:50pm on HV Rd) should be FIRED! He is a tailgating jerk! Not to mention he was SPEEDING. Someone with his awful driving skills should not be a delivery driver. Makes me wonder what other poor decisions this stores management has made. Here is a tip delivery guy– DONOT drive like an Ahole when your place of business is clearly displayed on the roof of your car. Idiot.

One hour and 55 minutes to get garbage pizza delivered. If I’m paying 20 bucks for junk pizza I at least expect it to be quick. Dominos at least delivers theirs in 30 minutes even when its busy on a Friday night. Often less than 20 minutes. I should be getting Rosati’s anyway. Shame on me. Never again Papa John’s.

So tonight my wife and I decided to order papa johns, not wanting to cook. We knew we would have to wait awhile but that was fine. So the pizza arrives without the little garlic butter that my wife had requested. I know she requested it because it’s written on the box/receipt that was delivered to us. Nice. The guy said that he would bring it back on his next run. Ok well it took an hour to get a pizza so how long is it going to take to get garlic butter. After 30 minutes, we just decided we didn’t want any so we called and told them to forget it… Also since the pizza was an hour old by the time we got it, it was cold. Unfortunately we didn’t check before he drove off. So cold that we had to microwave. I’m not talking a little bit cool, I’m saying it was the same temperature as outside… We called back to complain about that and said we were unhappy with the service and the guy hung up on me. I was so surprised I called back, because I didn’t really believe they would do that and after letting the phone ring for 12 rings finally someone else answers with«let me place you on hold» and immediately puts me on hold before I have a chance to speak. We actually did wait on hold for about 5 minutes and then gave up. The best part of this whole thing is that we pretipped for the service on the credit card. Awesome, bad service, actually horrible service and you get a tip for it. awesome. I am inclined to call the credit card company but they did give us a pizza so I guess we can’t say they didn’t deliver it so I would have to call and complain for a chargeback of 3 dollars. I understand if a business is busy, but you deal with it. You don’t hang up on your customers. We have ordered from papa john’s before, but certainly we won’t after this. Hopefully this review will help someone else.

Not a fan of the pizza but I love the garlic sticks.
