Delicious brunch. The hiker’s Benedict is my favorite in their menu. The coffee is much better than other restaurants. The service is great and all staff very friendly. Will definitely come back and recommend!

Great every time. Great service and staff. Food is great! Best deal is to buy their gift cards at Christmas.

Joaquin, our server was amazing. He was kind and friendly and quick. The food was amazing. You can tell everything was fresh and it all tasted great. The environment of the store was bright and open. I love that every table is given their own pot of coffee. Also when we left joaquin offered us coffee to go. This is our new breakfast place for sure!

Just awful. Lackluster hostess, incompetent, ill-tempered server, over-priced food. I paid over $ 15 for three eggs and two links of sausage. Moreover, I was ripped off. I asked the server how many links of sausage came to an order and she answered, «two.» I asked for a double order. What I got was two normal-sized links of sausage that had been cut in half! I was charged $ 6.98 for this. The food was delivered by a different person, so I waited for my server to do a courtesy check-back(pretty standard service expectation, yes?). She never came back to my table and in fact I had to flag her down for my check. I ordered my eggs«over medium» and they came out well done. Here’s a tip for you: If you’re going to use«Egg» in the name of your restaurant, at least have the good form to cook them correctly! Of course, the automaton hostess/cashier asked if everything was okay with my breakfast as I paid my tab. She«loudly» displayed a non-verbal attitude that she could not have cared less about my answer. Since I already made up my mind to never return to this lousy restaurant, I answered untruthfully and got my money back by shorting the tip. My server was lucky to get the dollar I left her. Normally I would not take out my frustration with an incompetently operated restaurant on a minimum-wage working waitress, but I felt justified given her complete lack of friendliness or attentiveness.

Ate here and had eggs benedict today. Thoughts: not the best, but not bad. Comes with a nice slice of ham halved on top of english muffins. What could be improved is the quality of the flavor. The hollandaise as well as the texture of the muffin were lacking.

This quaint restaurant is spacious and delightful, if you can make it at a non peak time(weekends are the busiest). The yellow and red interior colors compliment each other very well and the seating layout makes it feel like it is never too crowded. The booths are big and spacious against one wall and normal size ones in the middle for a perfect couples breakfast. I love that when they bring you water or tea you also get your own carafe so you don’t have to constantly ask for refills. The service has almost always been perfect. Very few exceptions have they forgotten something or taken too long and when they did forget something they gave us a coupon at the checkout. I feel like if the restaurant gives you a coupon, then they really care about the service that they give you and if you’re unhappy or not. Every time I come I get the egg sandwich deluxe which is so yummy. Crunchy toast with Harvardi dill cheese on egg, ham, bacon and tomato. The fruit is always fresh even with fresh apple slices. And let us not forget how awesome the ranch potatoes are. Almost every table has tiny vases with real flowers making the personal touch noticeable. I am a huge coffee drinker and they leave the pot at the table of which I am extremely grateful. Prices are comparative to the area. Happy eating friends!

Rainy Girls’ Weekend couldn’t keep us away from a tasty brunch. Even though it was the height of brunch hour, our wait was minimal. Waitstaff was tag-teaming & we appreciated everyone making sure people were served as quickly as possible Pumpkin Waffle for me w/eggs & grits. Those grits were phenomenal! For someone who doesn’t get to have her grits all the time since leaving the South, this was a welcome treat Waffle had a light pumpkinny flavor but was tender & paired well w/the grits & eggs. Repeat meal for sure! BFF got the Crabcakes Benedict & she loved the representation of crab in the crabcakes & added to breakfast potatoes? Get out! Best part was that she had a 2 for 1 Entrée coupon so for offering a tasty meal on a budget — have to say we’re fans!

Greatly disappointed in our experience this time. We had eaten here before and had a pretty good experience. Today was different. Came on a Sunday, after church, and they were busy. We were seated and started off well. Once we ordered, they brought out3 of the 7 meals. We then waited over 5 minutes for the other 4 to be served. Had to ask another table for syrup. Waited over 10 minutes just for butter. My husband finally went to the kitchen and got it himself. Food was just ok at best. This restaurant is now off our list. My husband told several people of our problems during our meals.

Seating was fast for a Saturday morning and received good friendly service, but food had disgusting hair in it… they brought new food quickly and didn’t charge for that one item(only $ 4)…food was good, we will probably come back, but we might try another place next time…

Of the three breakfast/brunch restaurants on FM407 that I frequent, this is the only one with real Hollandaise sauce. They also use big, thick slices of ham instead of thin rounds of Canadian bacon. So if you’re craving eggs Benedict this is the place to go.

The food was good. Better than the service. For the price of a meal, I expected to have left overs. I was left with a hungry rumbling belly. Not what I had expected.

We’ve been at this location a few times, largely because my six year old requests it. One thing that has been consistent is their inability to cater to vegetarian requests. Today we asked for French toast with scrambled eggs in a to go order. It comes with bacon normally, and I said it was for a vegetarian so make sure there was no bacon. It came with bacon on top of it. I asked for a manager to make sure they knew it had to be remade, and they couldn’t just take the bacon off. After two more tries they brought out something that looked right, but when we got home it had a distinct bacon flavor. This isn’t the first time we encountered this sort of service, and I’ve never received any comped items from them, even when they were completely wrong. In addition some of the menu items cannot be made vegetarian. When we tried to order biscuits and gravy once we were told that the gravy is pre-made with the sausage already in it(for the whole day?!?) and no plain gravy could be made. As for the food itself I haven’t eaten a single thing here I could recommend. Today my daughter complained that her scrambled eggs tasted weird. I took a bite and agreed(maybe powdered? Some ingredient mixed in with them?). I felt like at least the eggs should be good at a place named Egg and I. I’ve tried several of the standard breakfast items, and not found one I liked. Today I thought I would go a different direction and tried breakfast Chile Rellenos. They were the most bland Chile Rellenos I’ve ever had.

Having never had an american breakfast and only having tried one dessert at IHOP I really didn’t know what to expect. But I like eggs, and I like coffee. How bad can it be? Now I was tempted to give it 5-stars but then again if you are like me and you like your coffee strong and black no amount of free refills will give you satisfaction. On to the eggs, I had the Parisian Benedict and I do recommend it. Perfect runny yolks over a nice croissant, topped of with cheese and mushroom. The staff where nice and smiling, when asked for something to do in the dallas area 3 other waiters pitched in with ideas. The jalopeño-sauce cuts the creamyness of the egg yolks perfectly. So, would i visit this place again? YES. I would however drink a cup of coffe before so I didn’t have to give it 4-stars again.

The food is pretty good… standard breakfast options. The ranch potatoes are different and tasty. Our waiter, Isaiah, was super friendly and great. He offered me a coffee to go, which was really nice of him.

I must say I am highly satisfied with this establishment. WOW!!! To start off my waiter Tommy was excellent. Very impressed for him alone I’ll be coming back. Also the Texas skillet I had was amazing. My lady had the French toast and we both left our plates clean. My new Saturday go to can’t wait to try other entrees.

Love the Egg & I… stopped by this one to get coffee. They have the best coffee. I told them I live 2 ½ hours away and the owners said they would be Happy to ship it to me. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The holiday blend coffee was good. Her eggs Benedict were cooked just right(not as easy as it sounds). My frittata was tasty and also nicely cooked. We will go back.

We enjoy the lively atmosphere and the food is always decent — not GREAT — but a notch above iHop etc. My problem is the $$$ — I think other venues can be found that offer the same quality food for a bit less. In this economy — $ 10 for a couple of eggs is a bit steep.

Love this place!!! So happy they have a location in Flower Mound. My husband and I went on a Sunday morning — it was packed! Small lobby so it is packed pretty quickly but let me say this staff worked as a team to keep the tables and people running smoothly and quickly. Our food was delish! I really think it’s the best scrambled eggs I have ever had! The staff was friendly and interested in us being happy. If you haven’t been, you must go! Don’t let the crowd stop you, it moves pretty quick.

Do they put crack in the food? Seriously. It was great! I was in town visiting my family and we went here for breakfast 2 days in a row. The waffles are some of the best I’ve had. I don’t know what they do to them, but with butter and syrup they somehow tasted like cotton candy. It took a lot of self control to not finish the entire thing. The ranch-seasoned potatoes were a real crowd pleaser too. Order them with sour cream for extra deliciousness. Texans seem to put ranch on everything, but in this situation it works really well. The only weird thing about this place for me was the décor. I felt like I was in Hobby Lobby, but it’s not a huge deal. I’m sure people from this area like that country home vibe. One word of advice: the wait times seem to always be shorter than what they tell you. A lot of people think they have time to run next door to Starbucks and end up getting called while they’re gone.
