Since the opening of Smashburger early last year we have been pretty regular customers. Always satisfied. Until recently. A turnover in management perhaps. All new help from what we can see. The cashier had zero personality. Okay, fine no problem. Take an order. We get our avacado chicken club, what I always order since day one. Screech… only one lonely tiny wedge of avacado! The picture shows four, I always received four on my sandwich before. Today one. I paid the same high price for a sandwich but got less. Had to complain and then got ONE more wedge of avacado. We’re still 2 short. This is Texas, don’t mess with the avacodo.

TOOMUCHSALT!!! I ordered the buffalo fries, I have never had fries that were so over salted in my life, Completely ruined my meal. I ended up eating only ½ of the burger and less than ¼ of the fries. I did however drink 2 drinks trying to get my mouth rinsed of the salt. I would have taken the order to the manager however it was apparently lunch rush with quite a line and I had a movie to catch. I had heard good things about this. I even did their survey from the receipt and the questions they asked about the service, attentive, helpful, etc. Those were not the qualities that I found there, the guy who took my order could have cared less about my order or customer service.

Food tasted ok, restaurant is dirty and food service area looks unhygienic(see photo). Sitting with my wife right by the kitchen and food service stand. 3 people so far have had to come up and ask for their tables to be cleaned, and the food service stand is the most disgusting I have ever seen. Condiment bottles left out the whole time with no lids on, right next to the bucket they rinse the table cleaning rag in. Table cleaning rag thrown on there about touching the plastic condiment cups that are filled and added to the baskets for each meal… We are staring at this and looking at ours thinking UGH!!! Whole area is filthy with food debris all over floor and cabinets. Employees clothing is filthy too. Ugh!

Walked in while talking to my dad. And we walked up to the counter talking about something and the cashier Nate rudely interrupted loudly saying«can I help you?» While giving us a death stare. I explained that we had never been in before and he looked obviously annoyed. We ordered our food while recieving an attitude from the cashier the whole time. We sat got our food and I decided to give it a chance. Burger was alright. Fries were good! Nice aesthetic. Probably won’t be back though.

I love the buffalo fries. The burgers are good. The grilled chicken usually is too salty– so stick with the beef!

This was our first time eating at a Smash Burger and we had a wonderful experience. We all got the classic burger and I was excited to see they offer a Gluten Free bun. The food came quickly and was really tasty. We will be back again.

OMG so slow… we waited 30 minutes for 2 burgers and fries and it wasn’t even packed. The lady in front of me waited even longer for her to go order. But that is secondary to how the cashier treated my 6 year old daughter. My daughter was leaning into the drink case to see what was in there while we waited in line(10 plus minutes) and the female cashier snapped at her, saying«STOPCLIMBINGONTHAT!!» I told her I don’t let my kids«climb» on things and that’s not what she was doing. Her only reply was an eye roll and a smirk. My poor, sweet, compliant child was mortified. She hid in my arm until we were out of that woman’s sight. The food is decent, but I won’t go back. Mooyah is much better service, food, and most importantly, they treat my kids with respect.

Second time here. Evening service very slow. Only 3 people working– I could see 7 – 8 orders on their screen. Salted Caramel shake amazing. Grilled chicken(sandwich or on a salad) is VERY thin. Love the Smashfries especially the sweet potato ones.

Great customer service! The cashier mistakenly gave me a classic burger instead of the classic chicken I ordered. The manager was quick to correct this mistake and brought it to me herself!

Really glad to have a Smashburger closer than Coppell. I’d normally give SB4 stars but I have to agree with others that this location still isn’t running as smoothly as the others. I’ll give them their star back when they figure it out. Either way, its not so bad I’m going to drive the extra 10min to the Coppell location.

First off, this place is solid. Yes it takes a few minutes — if you want a cheaper burger faster, go next door to McD’s. These are great burgers, all made fresh. Sure I wish they came out a little faster, but then I get the freshly fried onion straws on my hot jalapeño burger and I appreciate that it wasn’t sitting around for thirty minutes before I arrive. Then the fries — you can’t beat the rosemary fries. I am probably a little too excited about them. Third, the service: I’ve had nothing but professional, courteous service here. Twice I’ve been served directly by the manager. Orders have always been correct; I took my most recent order home, resisting the temptation to peak inside all the containers. Everything was right when I got home, with a nice bonus I haven’t seen from any burger place: separate containers for the hot and cold components of our«lettuce-wrapped» burger. Nice touch! Last, the location: if you live down 407 west of Highland Village, this is the closest burger joint except for Sonic. Sonic is your three star choice: SmashBurger gets all five stars. You have Mooyah, Red Robin and a few others around. But you can’t beat this SmashBurger.

This place needs training. They never get shakes right. Very slow to come out, like after the meal slow. If you order a togo shake, it comes out in a plastic cup that has 3 inches of space at the top. I questioned where the side car was(the metal mixer cup they serve with shakes for dine in). I was told that the plastic cup holds 16 oz which is the size of the shake. I took it home and measured. That plastic cup holds 16oz only filled to the brim. The shake they gave me was 12 oz. Which explains why team members were sitting there eating shake out of my side car. Next visit I order the shake for dine-in so my daughter and I can enjoy it while we wait for our togo order. Again, painfully slow, the shake comes out after the meal for 5. This time, no side-car. I questioned it again, and was told that is all that it made. I sent it back. They were very pushy about it being a true 16oz in a togo cup, which it was not, and now they are pulling the same tricks with a dine-in. Get it right! Burgers at this one are merely ok. Overcooked, poorly put together, sloppy presentation, slow service. Really, just stay away from this location. The other SBs I eat at have no problems. Austin @ SouthPark Meadows, Fort Worth, Dallas(NW& Midway). Great stores. Flower Mound needs to be trained a lot better. We are done. Maybe over-done, just like the burgers.

Good food but need more help. Lots of frustrated customers at lunch on Saturday. They don’t take call ins for pick up so definitely order online. Today however people who did this were waiting too. Addendum: got our food home and I take back the«good food». True on previous dine in but not today. Two kids meals had no drinks. Four adult burgers were small and poorly put together. Two thumbs down. Sorry SB.

We placed an order for four burgers online. Only ONE of the orders was correct. If it was a phone order then perhaps I could understand a miscommunication, but it’s pretty clear online. The french fries are very good. The onion rings(haystack?) are good but very greasy. As far as the actual burgers go, we all found them to be tough and overcooked. Chewy brown meat. I will not return and cannot recommend that anyone go out of their way to visit.

The burgers taste good but the patty was too thin. I like thick burgers so this didn’t do it for me. However, the rosemary fries were very good.
