Sephora

I walked in this store for the first time today. They seemed to be out of a lot of products, all of the makeup displays were dirty, and I felt very uncomfortable. The staff was the worst part of the whole store. They were very judgmental and off putting. I’ve heard of Sephora only catering to people who look like they are gonna spend a lot of money, and this place definitely seemed to fit that bill. Never coming in here again.

I was inside the store on Friday January 29^th at 7:20pm (rewind the cameras). There were 3 workers, all seem to be stocking makeup. I walked up to the first employee and asked if she could point me to the Kat Von D collection, she responded with «There’s 2 other workers over there, you can ask them.» I walked over to the other two employees which were talking and stocking together. They saw me standing there awkwardly for a min waiting for them to finish, I finally cut them off and asked «Could you show me where the Kat Von D collection is at?» They didn’t say one word to me and pointed straight ahead. Alright… so I walked over and couldn’t find my color, they were out. I then asked the girl if there were anymore of my color, she didn’t even look for it in the drawers and just said «We’re out.» Well damn?! So I asked her if she could help me color match my skin tone to a foundation because I need it tomorrow. She told me to color match it myself! Wth??? So I put some on my wrist and told her «I don’t know how to color match.» She didn’t recommend another brand and just said I guess these don’t match that well. I then asked if she could look in the drawers to make sure my color wasn’t in there, she looked irritated with my request, quickly open the bottom drawer and said no. I had to ask when’s the next shipment? Got an attitude response of «Thursday.» That was it, I had enough. I left the store.
Don’t believe what I’m saying? Rewind the cams and listen to the audio if you guys even have any in the store. Ridiculously bad service. Never coming to this sephora again.

I love this beauty supply store for having everything I need. They can do also best discount for me. I got it several time. Have so many nail polishes, also different especial things form women folk from the brand selections.

This Sephora is located inside JCPenney’s. Therefore, what they have in stock is limited compared to the stand-​alone stores. At least there is a Sephora in this area of town. If you’re looking for a stand-​alone store, you’ll have to make the drive up to Madison to Renaissance.
They do have the basics here and the employees are super friendly and helpful. I do wish they had a bigger selection, but it is what it is. The three stars because it’s so small.
Hopefully, one day, Sephora will built a stand-​alone store in this area where it’s much needed.
