Sleep Inn

I don’t give out one star ratings for anything, and I mean ANYTHING, often. But I’m joining Mr. N in the one star review club for this motel.
My mother had to have surgery the day I stayed in the motel overnight. I needed a place to stay the night, so I reserved a room online a few days before.
That afternoon, went to pick up the key. The room wasn’t ready yet so my first viewing of my room (Room 104) was that night when I went to stay the night. I walked in, looked around, and thought «Hm…not much to look at» but was certainly not unbearable for a night. For one night, it would do.
Decided to see what was on TV in Flowood. USA was the only channel that worked on my TV. Alright, whatever. Maybe I was doing something wrong with the remote. Fair enough. Besides, I brought my two seasons of Dead Like Me on DVD to watch on my laptop so it didn’t bother me much. Besides, I don’t watch a whole lot of TV so I could overlook it.
Went to pee. And do you know what?
The. Toilet. Did. Not. Work.
The three star I was thinking about giving this place went down the drain better than the toilet water.
The only decent thing was the one who worked the desk was nice when I went to first get my key. That’s the one positive I’ll give in this review.
All in all? I wasn’t impressed by my room. This was my first time in a Sleep Inn and I’m not sure there will be a second if other Sleep Inns are like this.

I only give this place one star because that’s the lowest Unilocal will let me rate it. The first room we were given, didn’t have sheets on the bed. Not a big deal, but the second room had the sheets on inside out (shows a lack of attention to detail, which is visible in other areas here also.
The wifi wouldn’t connect, and when I called the front desk, I was informed that he had «just «received another call about it and would reset the wifi, this is at 10pm. By 11 pm wifi still wasn’t working…
Lest you think I do t have anything good to say, there is a pro to this place, fast hot water! Lots of it and very hot!
Last but not least, the reason I got upset and felt the need to write this review… This morning while getting dressed a bug just dropped in and landed on the table beside me. See picture.
Ok, you guessed it, I won’t be staying here again!
