All of the people that reviewed this place were on some severe drugs. How the hell did this place get 4 & ½ stars. It’s worse than a dive bar. It’s more like a retirement home for alcoholics who haven’t showered in 2 months. I smelled everyone’s breath the second I walked in. It smells like a rotten banana fart in there. By the way, who the hell puts the dart board directly in front of the front door? I almost took a dart to the head the second I opened the door.

A man’s bar. Great neighborhood pub. The beer is cheap and ice cold. They have a handful of tv’s if you’re trying to catch a game.
We went on a Tuesday and it was $ 2 drafts!!! I hear from September to May, they have billiards league and it gets crowded.
Paulie is a great bartender.

Total crappy dive bar. Been in the neighborhood forever, though, so they must be doing something right! Been there quite a few times, about 20 years ago, but not much anymore. Different crowd and am not really into stinky, dingy dive bars anymore! But, still… Frannie Lew would seem really strange without it!!! I mean I must’ve passed this place almost every day for I can’t even tell you how many years!!!

Always a relaxing time at this neighborhood gem. Bars like this are a rarity… Cold Beer right out of the cooler… great music always playing… someone always ready to shoot a game of pool… as a day guy… you’ll always find some good conversation with good people… for all you vodka lovers… Tito’s now being poured

This place is one of those typical neighborhood dumps that you can go to for cheap beer, loud music and to be around people who aren’t concerned about getting dressed up to drink a few beers. You’ll know your at the right place when the bottles of beer you buy comes out of a picnic cooler behind the bar. The place has a certain character to it that grows on you, that or you think it grows on you as you get drunk for cheap.

This bar is a total craphole but a neighborhood gem. Good place to watch a game or just grab a drink after work. Crowds are usually light, though it can get busy on the weekend. Good music here! The bartenders are quite good and are usually happy to pour you a complimentary shot or two.

the diver’s cove is a regular’s dream.
it’s an authentic local bar, been there for 60 some odd years
the last 32 yrs it’s been the diver’s cove
the bartender was excellent, warm, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of… big ups to susan!
beck’s on tap was crisp, cold and only 4 bucks.
the crowd is mixed and juke box is loud.
pool and darts finish off the décor
highly recommended
