Spoke to the owner Andie and she went above and beyond at helping me choose the perfect attachments. She speaks fluent English and is exceptionally professional and sympathetic at difficult times when ordering funeral arrangements.
I wouldn’t hesitate calling upon her services but hopefully for happier occasions.

Flowers for our event were very fresh and lasted for a long time. A very good selection of flower types that were arranged very nicely. Excellent service when combining two different bouquets together as well. Would come back again for future events.

Cant beleive i didnt review this earlier. My go-​to Florist for every occasion. Been going to her for years. She makes the prettiest arrangements. other places just throw it together. She puts love and effort into her work.

I stop by to buy flowers for my friend, but I like it so much that I ending ordering 12 centerpieces that I neede for my daughter’s sweet and 16 they looked great too! Really happy with my order

I’m so impressed by such personal service where the owner really went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted! Instead of going through a big company for flower delivery, I decided to go through a local flower shop instead, and I’m so happy I did! I was able to text Andie the pictures of several bouquets that I liked and she was very nice and responsive! She even texted me the pictures of the flowers that they had, so I could choose the exact flowers I wanted! After my order was placed, the flowers were delivered in under an hour and they were just gorgeous! Thank you!

We got our centerpieces, bouquets and boutoneirres for our wedding from here. They did a great job and prices was at least half of what other florists were quoting us.

Andie was very helpful in helping us select the beautiful flowers for my wedding. She was very attentive to my needs and is super nice! The flowers were fresh and nicely put together. I ordered centerpieces, bouquets for me and the bridal team, and flower pins for relatives. They delivered the flowers early to the venue, which was perfect! Came here after reading all these amazing reviews on Unilocal.I was so disappointed at what I received after giving her my budget for a bouquet. The flowers were mostly filler flowers, not a single rose, and just looked cheap. I wasn’t given any options for alternative flowers that would make the bouquet pop. I will not be returning.

Andie was very helpful during our first meeting. She was very friendly and informative and tried to help me find ways to stick to our budget. She wasn’t pushy at all. After talking to her, I left a deposit to secure her. However, after thinking it over, I realized it would be hard to hire her as a florist because of the location and timing and I went back and told her. Without any negotiation, she gave me back my deposit. Im glad that she understood and she was really good about it. Thanks Andie!

I was REALLY disappointed with Flowers By Andie despite referrals and book marking them on Unilocal months ago during the initial stages of my wedding planning. I made an appointment with Andie for 10am saturday morning and I arrived a little bit early. She never introduced herself to me and didn’t seem to remember that I had an appointment. She gave me her albums for bouquets and centerpieces and told me to let her know once i was ready. After about 5 – 10 min I told her I was ready to discuss. And by discuss, I mean she answered my questions around her watching tv. She would not give me the time of the day because she was SO focused on the hong kong drama happening behind me. She event positioned herself so she could watch it in between answering my questions. I was so uncomfortable I wanted to get the prices and leave right away.
I told her I was not trying to spend more than $ 20 – 30 per table and she did give me some suggestions for keeping the costs low but she was not much more helpful after that. I asked her about this really pretty escort card table piece and she just said oh that’s really expensive and did not offer the price. I think she pretty much thought I was not a valuable customer based on what I was hoping to spend on my centerpieces. I asked her when I needed to let her know if I decide to use her flowers and she said «i don’t know. We might have other bookings on the same day and we try not to book too much». (this is 7 months before my wedding) I replied, «ok, so when do you need to know by?». She goes «I don’t know. I don’t know.» No thanks Andie, I’ll give my business to Happy Flowers up the road.
Her prices are decent but how can I be confident that she will provide good flowers for my wedding if she can’t provide simple customer service?

Andie was very helpful with my wedding floral arrangements in Sept 2013. The flowers came out beautiful and for a great price. It was even more vibrant and gorgeous in my pictures! The shop is not fancy. It’s more of a «made to order» kind of place. (i.e. Unless there is an order for specialty flowers, you won’t see it in the store.) A few of my friends recommended her, and the reviews on Unilocal all state how wonderful she is. I told her my color was purple and I loved how green and purple went with each other, and she was able to provide a bunch of recommendations within my budget. The original centerpiece I liked was over $ 100+ each, and although it was gorgeous it was unpractical so I lowered my budget to under $ 75. She was able to give me a great suggestion with a vase for $ 50! Amazing! Also, they deliver (to Long Island) for a flat fee ($ 50?).
[Suggestion to Andie: Ask for names of individuals receiving flowers while ordering, and label the flowers upon delivery, or enclose a list of «who gets boutonnieres/​corsages» with the order because on the ‘day of’, it gets sooooo hectic. I think all your brides and grooms would truly appreciate it if you could label them ahead of time. The bridal attendant had to ask me who should receive each flower. Definitely not something we expect, but we would love you even more if you did!]

I went to Flowers by Andie for my wedding centerpieces and bouquets etc. Andie and her husband are both super nice people. I did consultatioin with Andie and she gave me some great advice. I didn’t get a good price relatively speaking. May be it is because I told her to use nice big glasswares and some expensive flowers like Freesia, Ranunculus (my fav flower) and roses. They did a wonderful job and delivered the flowers to my wedding veneue on time. I am very happy doing business with them. I would definitely recommend all my friends to get flowers from Andie for their weddings. Great job Andie!

We used Flowers by Andie for our wedding flowers in June 2013 and they did an amazing job. Andie is straightforward, professional, and easy to work with — we were on a budget and Andie was very accommodating in being able to substitute out less expensive flowers in arrangements to keep costs down but to keep the overall look very elegant. On the day of the wedding, they delivered everything to the hotel and the flower arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres all looked amazing — my now-​husband and I couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful they were. After the wedding, they came to the hotel to pick up the flower stands we had rented from them for the large flower arrangements. Highly recommended for price, quality of flowers and design, and service!

I won’t walk pricing although I will say Andie is very competitive.
Pricing always changes so it won’t help much but a Bridal Bouquet with Roses and Cymbidium orchids is $ 80.
Andie, we love her. My fiancée, who does not speak Chinese, was very comfortable. Andie speaks perfect English (always a question in flushing). She is very professional and helpful. If she knows you have a budget, she will keep you within budget. She has many suggestions but loves if you have ideas already.
We are booking with her next week. Although she doesn’t do samples for you ahead of time, she will do one for your centerpieces. I trust her to make the day perfect so that’s all that matters.

Andie did my wedding flowers (as well as shower flowers) and I could not have been happier.
I found Andie right here on Unilocal.I set off one day with my maid of honor and we stopped by several florists. Some, like Andie I planned on stopping into, some I just saw and we wandered in. Andie’s prices were less then half the cost of everywhere else. My end cost was almost a $ 1k less then most other florists *started* at!
Her prices in fact were so low, I didn’t trust she could be for real. So I ordered my shower flowers from her as a test run. They were beautiful, exactly what I’d asked for and they lasted well over a week. So I booked her for my wedding.
She was able to do a drop dead gorgeous bouquet for me for $ 35 — a 10 inch «kissing ball» of white roses and daisies. And the centerpieces, daisy topiaries were fun and pretty. We brought one on our honeymoon and it stayed beautiful the whole week.
Her staff also decorated the arch at our wedding venue with tulle and flowers and did a great job. And they gave us a bag of white rose petals for free to use on our wedding aisle!
I absolutely recommend Flowers by Andie!

This review has been long overdue as Andie did our wedding flowers in September 2011. She was recommended to me and my wife through my wife’s aunt. We had already interviewed a number of florists by this time but found the cost of wedding flowers to be dizzyingly high.
From the initial meeting, Andie was pleasant, patient, and conscious to work within our budget. As per my wife’s aunt, Andie comes with a lot of experience having worked as the florist at some of the top hotels in Hong Kong. We ultimately picked Andie because she was able to produce our vision at a fraction of what Western florists were quoting us.
Our only one hiccup was that since we were getting married in Manhattan, Andie said that she would only be able to drop off the arrangements, and not place everything where they needed to be (ie ceremony flowers by the officiant, floral arrangement by the guest cards, and most importantly, placing the centerpieces on each table). This made us feel like «Well you get what you pay for…»
But after speaking with my wife (who was freaking out for a good hour), Andie ultimately conceded and had her husband make sure everything was done perfectly. It is this «above and beyond» nature that we really appreciate and makes Flowers by Andie stand out to us. Our wedding flowers were great and we have since (and will continue) to refer our friends to Flowers By Andie for their weddings too!

Andie, the flower shop owner is the most patient person I have ever met and trust me the customers i’ve seen her work with day by day can be really demanding and while others turn you away when it gets rough like timing shes the flower hero of the day. Shes the wing woman for flower shops. Talk to her and give her a chance cause I promise when you leave the store you will not regret it. She will sit with you and help you once you tell her what type of flowers you want and your budget. Weddings, sweet sixteens, valentines day anything just come and I swear BEST FLOWER EXPERIENCE!

Andie is cool peeps, my go to flower spot… We had the pleasure working with her for our wedding flowers, by far the best priced and quality was top notch… Parking is easy to find and it’s right by the highway, perfect spot to drop by when I’m in the dog house too!
All I can say is, give it a shot, tell her what your budget is and she will work with you.

Andie did my wedding flowers! From the bouquet to the table, all my flowers are as gorgeous as they can be, especially when i have to do a very red, very chinese themed wedding, she made red and gold look elegant! I am very impressed with the way how she arranged the flowers, the quality is top notch! She’s very paitent with me on picking the flowers, explaining to me what’s in season, going over the pricing of each options. She’s not only reasonably priced, but she does it with heart. I love my flowers for my wedding day. Thanks again for making my flowers look amazing! Love this hidden treasure in flushing!

After much search for my wedding flowers, I stumble upon a wonderful little shop in the middle of nowhere.
It all happened one faithful night when I missed my bus (barely by a few sec) as I ran down Northern Blvd., around downtown Flushing. As I waited for the next bus to arrived I noticed a florist shop by the highway entrance on the other side of the this major blvd. Desperate to get out of the cold for the next 15 mins, I decided to check it out since I was looking for flowers anyways.
As I walked in I was greeted by a very cute, small, friendly doggie. (Not sure what kind he/​she is because I know nothing about dogs). My attention was diverted from the dog to a young and charming lady who asked me if I needed anything in particular. Her English and Cantonese was very good. Though it seems like she prefers to speak in Chinese.
She had a great deal of books on wedding flowers and decoration to show me. Some were cut outs from magazine others where her own photographs. One thing that needs improvements is her website. It seems as if though she hasn’t updated it for quite some time and the photographs aren’t clear. I love the fact that she had her own personal portfolio of wedding bouquets that she made herself with listed prices for some. Of course the price would vary a little here or there base on how much you want to change the arrangements. Overall her prices were reasonable compare to the other price quotes I have received.
The young lady turns out to be Andie the owner of the shop and I am grateful for finding her. Out of all the florist I’ve been to around flushing, chinatown, middletown manhattan and shopping online as well, she has been the most attentive and patience. We sat down for over 4 – 5 hours the last 2 weeks planning out what I like for my flower arrangements, what will or will not work together, how to keep them fresh until the ceremony, curtain and lighting decoration and how to blend it into my wedding theme. She even went to the restaurant where my reception will be held to verify if it was possible to hang the curtains I want for our cake centerpiece section. =D
I definitely would recommend anyone looking for real/​fake flowers arrangements or decorations to check her out.
