Great experience, not sure about all the negative reviews. Friendly staff, room was a little dated but clean and for $ 100 I thought it was great. You can’t even get hostels in Manhattan at that price. Free coffee in the lobby throughout the day too. Considering the price I really thought it to be a steal.

There are cars still parked out front. Ugh!!! Upon entering the establishment, the guy at the front desk assumed that we were going to be there for the 3 hour stay. He told my guy«$ 45 for three hours» even after he told the clerk he booked a room there. I’m guessing this is what happens when people judge you based on appearance/skin color. Then my guy had to tell him that we booked a room on for the entire night. That’s when the clerk apologized and got the paperwork ready. The price was $ 85 on but after taxes, $ 101.04. Our room was much nicer than the room we were placed in during our first stay here. They provide guests with a microwave and refrigerator inside the room as well as a table and 2 chairs. The appliances run on the small side compared to other hotels but works just the same. The bed was firm but I actually liked the feel of it. There were some holes in the sheet, near the head of the bed, but I didn’t make a fuss. I just keep a mental note on things like this. There was an alarm/AM+FM radio on 1 of the 2 nightstands beside the bed but I didn’t utilize it. A trashcan was in the room and inside the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it was nice to look at. The cold water worked just fine but it took some time for the«hot» water to live up to its name, approximately 5 minutes. The tv is a SHARP(brand) flat screen. The channels still leave a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if the TV is going to be your only source of entertainment. I like the fact that you can smoke here though. It’s very aggravating to have to keep going outside, in freezing temperatures, to smoke.

This place has got to be the worst place I’ve stayed in. Being that it’s my last weekend on the east Coast, I decided to make the trip out to New York and be a tourist. Most of my time was spent in time Square with a friend and after the comedy show ended we parted ways. Seeing how I wanted to visit Chinatown and have dim sum for breakfast. I decided to find a place nearby. I got to flushing using the 7. It was 2am and i needed sleep. i saw the motel and decided to stay the night. It was 100 dollars a night, i only needed it for a few hours. got my room key, checked out my room and it stunk of mary jane. I went back to the front desk and got another room. the place smells and paint and cigarettes. the wall are thin, so it was loud everywhere. overall it screamed dirty. I can’t recommend this place to anyone. I think I would have been better off sleeping in the subway. the food in Flushing, I can’t complain about.

It was my first trip to New York. I had to stay over at Flushing for one night when I was visiting few friends and had a few drinks at the karaōke bar. It was a horrible experience. There was no visitors allow at all and a wake up call at 11am, 11:30 and every 30 mins after that. I asked for an extended stay for an extra fee, however, I still get a call every 30 mins. The noise level there was unbelievable. You can hear people walking down the hallway, chatting and laughing. When I headed out of my room for check-out, in the hallway few doors down, we hear a woman moaning her lungs out«omg, omg». It was 2pm in the afternoon! Well, I guess somebody is enjoying and having a good time at this motel. Certainly, that won’t be us.
