The pizza is ok, the sauce tastes a bit too sweet for me. The crust is also rather bland. If you want something quick from a friendly staff, then this is the place you want to go. Other than that, it’s nothing to write home about.

Joe’s, John’s, Joe’s, John’s, another one. John’s I can see is a local Pizzeria & Restaurant with basic Pizzeria booth seating(the hard wooden or plastic ones). There’s a Papa John’s right across the street and I was going to go to the Subway Sandwich shop but I saw their mid sized ad down the street and thought I’d give them a try, probably my only try. Next time I will go to Subway Sandwich shop because it just passes the three star Pizzeria by a smidgen. It’s very average. The crust and dough has no identity to it, it’s like bread, thick and a bit plain/chewy. Not a pizza crust. The sauce is lightly sweet, salty and lacks anything else. The mozzarella is plastic like. I was there at 4pm on a Saturday so I guess it’s been sitting there for a few hours since I didn’t notice too many customers or people around. Though they have a good array of soft drinks in their fridge and the menu appears they can whip up a specialty Italian dish in the back. Other than that besides the $ 2.25 basic slice, I also saw a Pepperoni slice and a not so interesting meat lover’s slice.

Little neighborhood pizzeria. Their pizza is absolutely delicious, nice crust, and great sauce. I have also tried their buffalo and chicken wings. Their wings are great, when they are available. The owners, employees, and delivery people are nice. I have ordered delivery and visited the location on person. Delivery is quick and the food arrives piping hot. If you’re looking for a no-frills delicious pizza, this is the place to go. Suggested dishes: Pizza Buffalo wings Chicken wings

I’ve been going to John’s pizza for over 20 years. My mom used to bring me pizza after work at Flushing Hospital. It is a great mom and pop pizza shop with great slices and calzones. The staff is also quite friendly and the environment is very inviting. Ingredients are fresh, and they have a great selection of toppings and other offerings. I have since moved to California, but whenever I am back in the Flushing area, I am certain to pick up a pie for my family. Pizza and the service remain great after all these years! Though there is now a Papa Johns across the street, the ingredients and service truly set this place apart from the chains. Highly recommended! And this is coming from a pizza snob.

my husband grew up on john’s pizza. i’ve only tried their plain slice but it was great. sauce was slightly sweet, tangy and salty allowing for the cheese flavor to come through. crust was dense and crunchy.

Good sauce, Crust is ok but a little under seasoned and kind of has the thickness and look of digiorno pizza. But really fast delivery. Its definitely better then gabriellas, pizza garden and fratellis. But I still need to try Lucia’s Pizza before i can say this is the«best» pizza in flushing.

When they were shuttered after a fire a couple months ago, we were devastated and had feared the worst, mourning the loss of a great local pizzeria. Then they reopened after renovations, and we were so relieved! The guy is always friendly and we often order here for their great specials. We love John’s for their plain slices!

I’ve been ordering from this pizzeria since I was a kid and loved it… until recently I’m getting very upset with what they do. Some Major issues: –Charged me an additional $ 2 because I wanted to use Credit Card instead of Cash like wtf? –Wednesday Specials they have $ 6 lasagna which is great! and I always order for delivery. Then without telling me once at my door they tell me that the specials are dine-in only! which is bull doo-doo because I always have delivery and they could have at least had the courtesy to lmk this over the phone before over charging me when its all over =(. I really don’t care for the extra $ 1.75 the charged but its the principle of it. Seems like they want to steal every dollar from you anyway they can Some Minor Issues: Never give plastic utensils whenever obvious to provide. Like they expect me to eat my spaghetti with my hands or what? Taste: They changed the the type of tomato sauce and cheese to lower quality or something. Their lasagna used to be soo addictive! now its like eating a microwaveable and disgusting, had to throw it away after eating about half. Why can’t they be as good as they used to be like 10 years ago? They’re getting old.

My family has been ordering pizza here since I can remember. The staff is very friendly. Food is good, it’s nothing different from other pizzarias. One thing I really love is their spaghetti with white clam sauce.

The 3 times I’ve been here, the pizza slices were not fresh & extremely dry. They charge much more than the other pizza joints for slices that didn’t have enough sauce and lacked flavor. I won’t be coming back.

Your local pizzaria. I grew up eating here for years and I still do. Even though it changed owners the pizza stayed the same.

I rate the pizza and food here at 2 stars; it’s okay but there are better tasting options around. I do like their chicken and broccoli slice, but that’s about it. The people who run the place are really friendly and outgoing though, so I stop by every once in a while.

I enjoyed my visit here. Sevice was friendly and attentive. Seems like«regulars» were coming in while I was munching my slices. My two slices and drink, as of today cost 6 bucks. The location is near Flushing Hospital and near the 65 bus line. The pizza was OK, the décor was quintessential«pizza place.»

John’s Pizzeria is just like all other Italian pizza shops which you can find everywhere. Food is in average standard, price is reasonable, but nothing more. The price is $ 2.75 per slice of pizza without adding anything else, and the sandwich is most likely $ 7.00. John’s Pizzeria also offers daily specials menu, which cost you only $ 6.00 per order, and the menu is vary everyday.
