Those who dabble in home renovation know: College Point is the place to go. After traipsing thru a multitude of building materials stores within walking distance of downtown Flushing, we stumbled upon Flushing Tile Corp. We decided fairly quickly that they’d be supplying ALL our tiling needs! The space is a bit cramped, but extremely neat and clean, with a workable selection of tiles for bathrooms, kitchens, etc. and even wood flooring options. There are better selections elsewhere, but nowhere else will you get Wendy, the amazing shop mistress who flies agilely between English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She has excellent prices, a flexible return/​exchange policy (as remodelers are known to often change their mind), and just the right touch. She and her staff leave you to wander w/​o being intrusive, but are always helpful when you have questions or need advice. I would recommend Flushing Tile Corp to anyone in need of tiles!!!
