First time I went was with captain Romeo on a night trip… Awesome! Would recommend to anyone they go out with this guy. He knows where to fish and when and was a lot of fun tAlkin with during our trip. We caught monster blues all night at one point actually had three huge fish on at the same time the captain managed to get 2 out of 3 Into the boat regardless of a language barrier with the other fisherman. There were only three other guys when I went so he offered to take us anyways if we all paid an additional $ 5, no problem marine fuel isn’t cheap $ 5 aint shit! Second time I went i brought two more people with me(since I had such a blast last. Time) so a total of three instead of four, we were cutting close to 7pm for our arrival so I made a point to call while stuck in traffic on the highway and let them know there were three people on the way and would be there within minutes of 7 they told me no problem we don’t leave til 7:15 anyways. We arrived at 7:05 and were told they would not take the boat out for only 3 people, I had about $ 400 cash on me alone and would have gladly paid for a fourth person just to get us on the water, instead I was met by a captain who said they weren’t going out tonight cause there’s only three people but suggested we hang out on the docks ad drink beer… Great but they’re my beers and I don’t know you nor are you taking me fishing after I spent $ 35 on a cab to come out with friends(another $ 35 back) who had never been on a charter boat or caught a large fish. On top of this the guy suggests I try using a different charter located in Sheep’s head bay, all the way on the other side of Brooklyn. Doesn’t seem like the captain I would want running my boat, must be tough to make $ like that. Perhaps next time you only have 3 people and THEIR cooler of beer you should offer a more expensive option to take the trip and maybe just maybe we will OFFER you a beer out of gratitude. I would love to see just captain Romeo and his mate runnin the boat thy seemed to be as excited as I was to be on The water and that’s what makes money.

If I could choose less than one star I would this has to be the worst fishing boat ever nobody ever catches anything crazy unless their fishing in A fish market I’ve spoken to people who told me don’t waste your time and money on that boat but over and over I didn’t listen I don’t like to believe rumors until I see for my self another thing this damm boat never goes out you can call and they will swear from left to right that they are going out for sure for sure and every time I go they never go out either not enough people or it’s too«windy» idk what kinda service their running and I’m really surprised they are still up and running but let me just end it off with this note call the next morning to make sure b4 you take a day off of work… even though they will just lie to get to to the docks and hope enough people will be there to go out … All in all seriously one of the worst boats because it never goes out it should be named never enuff shore line cause that’s where the boat will sit for days before seeing any action … Ps THEYNEVERGOOUTATNIGHTEITHER!

Very knowledgeable and helpful captain and staff with a great boat. Reasonably priced. Everyone came back with a good catch, too!

What a fantastic morning I had! My dad had been talking about a fishing trip so my brother, my dad and myself decided to check out Never Enuff since it was so close to where we live. I swore that since it was only the three of us the Captain would turn us away because it wouldn’t be worth the gas but to our surprise, he loaded us into the small charter that sits 1−6people and we hit the waters! It was such a personal fishing trip! A truly wonderful way to start a summer morning! AND to cap it all off we each caught dinner! The captain even filleted some of his catches for us: D I’ll most certainly be going again.

Had a great experience. I went on the smaller boat that holds only six people and the experience was 100 times better then any party boat I’ve ever been on. Captain Nick and the mate Jay were both friendly and helpful. The other people on the boat seemed to know one another, but they were pretty cool and overall atmosphere was joyful. The ride to the fishing grounds takes two hours each way, so, if coming alone, bring a book or a fully charged electric device. I caught 11 porgies and a sea robin, captain also threw couple of his porgies in my bucket. I just smoked the first batch and can’t wait to try them later with beer. See Pictures. Hopefully this experience was typical of Never Enuff and I just found a local(very) spot to go fishing without being shoved, and tangled with, and cursed on. There was a party boat that we encountered in the waters of Long Island Sound that was just a perfect illustration of just that. Captain took every person who was willing to go, they all stood shoulder to shoulder and cursed at each other. Needles to say, no one was catching fish. Thanks for a great experience, guys!

Wow this was supposed to be a «good«charter boat ? Let me explain. we called the day before & were told Fare was $ 55 and we were gonna hit parts of the bay the Connecticut for monster porgies… lol. we arrived early only to be beaten by the regulars for back of the boat … so we choose another spot… fine. we literally had enuf room to do a 360 in same spot, boat room stunk. We put our bags on the bench to save us a seat. 7:30 rolled around, the boat was half full which means it would be a nice fishing day or so we thought. 8 o’clock comes and we are set to leave then out of nowhere a family of 5 squeezes on the boat. The main lets them on the boat and squeezes in between us and some other people which means that side of the boat was way over crowded. Fine then we went by the main to move our stuff off the bench so that they could sat down my father is 70 years old and needs to sit down. Then we were asked to move all our stuff in coolers upstairs out of the way because they didn’t have any room. Mates were very nice but not learned in fishing etiquette fishing knots and fishing rigs. When we complained to the mates they really didn’t seem to care and the other family was giving us evil books. The fair was $ 65 and p. s we did not go to Connecticut actually the trip involve mostly traveling we spent 3 hours traveling to huntington fish for 2 and half hours and then 3 hours back. We did not score any monster Porgies the Porgies were mediocre at best. Many times over the loudspeaker the captain threatened to come down and deal with 1 of the person who did not buy a ticket. We had a horrible day of fishing and the wind picked up which made it worse so the boat was rocking back and forth out of position. Needless to say I do not recommend this boat if you wanna have a good time. New name should be. never enough room, never enough bait, not enough fish. At the end of the day mates did a good job filling what few fish we had but there was no system online and who’s going to get fillet first it was basically whom ever the mates knew first and everyone else last.

After an amazing 25th birthday aboard the Never Enuff boat, I just had to leave them a glowing review :) I was desperate to find a unique event to usher in my quarter century and decided that a boat party would be fun! Needless to say, there aren’t many semi-affordable options around NYC. After hours and days of Googling, I came upon Never Enuff. They had a 70 person, 56ft private charter available for $ 1,500(includes fuel, excludes tax and tip) for 7 hours. That’s the price for up to 30 people, every addt’l person pays $ 50. Pay with cash and they won’t even charge you 3% for tax(I didn’t have that much moolah on me tho. not ballin’ outta control quite yet). A bunch of my friends ragged on me for throwing my birthday on a fishing boat — but when it came down to it, Never Enuff got the job done & everyone ended up having a blast! Everytime I spoke with someone on the phone they were super accommodating and sweet — even when it became clear that my primary purpose was to booze cruise, not fish! Convo went somethin’ like this: Me: Hi, how early/late can I rent the boat for? Them: Well, we could leave at 7 or 8 am so you can be out at sea longer. We’d need to return by 6pm for the evening charter. Me: Can I just rent it from say, 1−6pm? Them: That’s fine with us but you probably won’t catch much fish that way… Me: Oh no, that’s totally okay… BTW, can I bring hard liq on board? PS — You actually can’t bring hard liq but bring as much beer/wine/bubbly as you like! They have a HUGE cooler(with ice! yay!) on board. I called a few days in advance to confirm my reservation while simultaneously refreshing 329437439844xs a day to ensure that it would be a nice day. That morning it drizzled and I nearly cried — but then the weather & birthday gods pulled thru for me and let it turn into an amazingly sunny, perfect day. My group of 30 friends and I boarded the boat and there were 2 guys working/driving for us. We told them we didn’t really care where to go and just wanted to have a good time. They suggested the Statue of Liberty(which we didn’t have time for) or along the Long Island Sound to check out the mansions. We went with the latter, broke out the booze and food and blasted EDM on their speakers. 4.5 hours later, tipsy, and ever so slightly sea sick, we walked off Never Enuff SOSATISFIED. In the end, with 20% tip, we paid $ 1,800 for 30 people to spend an amazing September Saturday. THANKYOU, Never Enuff, for making my 25th birthday one for the books! Will definitely reccommend you guys over and over again :)
