This place is 24 hours open! We came here around 2 am and had soondaegook and beef tofu soup. The food was not bad and the waitress was very nice. One thing that I liked about the menu is that this place a lot of anju(side good you have with alcoholic beverage) such as fried gobchang, ddukboggi, fried seafood noodle, etc. this place isn’t the best restaurant ever but not a terrible one.

Ugh. Two words: Food Poisoning Third day of pain & suffering. Getting better, still need to be close to a bathroom at all times. I had soondae & bossam on a Saturday @ 4−5PM 100% it was from here. My hubby and I eat the same things. This was the one thing I went out and ate without him and lo & behold, I’m the one with my head perched at the toilet bowl. Never again. May this review save other’s stomachs and toilets from the abuse.

Came here for lunch today they had pretty decent amount of people dining at the restaurant at the time. The hostess lady is very kind as I saw how she tended to this old lady who came to eat by herself. I ordered boshin-tang and they gave us very simple side dishes. The dish itself was alright with a slight unpleasant taste/smell. I’ve tasted way better boshin-tang before. My boyfriend ordered dakdori-tang and it looked so terrible. I’ve never seen such a soupy dakdori-tang. The whole time we were eating I felt so bad that he couldn’t enjoy his meal. Um. From looking at other reviews maybe we didn’t order their best dishes here but I still would be very hesitant to come back here. Good luck if you’re trying this restaurant for the first time and let me know what other dishes taste like!

Highly disappointed, I was excited to try this establishment. I ordered the dakdoli tang… By far the worst. The dish was very watery like soup. The chicken was undercooked with red meat showing. And trust me it wasn’t from the soup customer service was great

Came here on a Monday night between 7&8PM. It wasn’t overly packed but there was a decent amount of people. The restaurant is spacious and clean with cute decorative drawings on the wall. My friends and I tried multiple things on the menu and generally they are all good. My favorite has to be the soondae which is surprising because normally Im not a big fan of it. They gave a good amount of soondae and was not grimy with the portion, it was super soft and did not leave a funky after taste as most bad quality soondaes seem to have. The jokbal was also good, soft and tender. The soondae guk was good as well. They have combos at a good cheap price which is perfect for eating lunch and or dinner with your friends. The service is good as my water was constantly being refilled and did not feel rushed while dining as most restaurants seem to rush you in and out. Great to come with family or friends. Will definitely be back.

This place is finally open!!! The new design is very open compare to the old store. Huge menu choices as well. For appetizer we ordered seafood pancake which was good! Can’t go wrong with that! Now, I would have to say My favorite was The soondae!!! Absolutely love their soondae, it’s sooo soft and looks so good! This place definitely serves the best soondae in New York! This is the reason why I am giving 5 stars! Second favorite would have to be their Jokbal. It is slightly darker then most restaurants but it’s very soft and doesn’t have that pork smell. Finally the duck, not a big fan. I have tasted better duck meat in Murray Ave. The meat is very thin, which I’m not a big fan of and tastes like it was frozen before. Our server, I think she’s new. since it just open, burn our duck. If you order meat, like most korean restuarant they serve stew as a side as well. They also have combos to try different type of dishes for a cheaper price! Definitely will come back again!
