I came here with friends during lunch time, I think it was $ 20 each. There’s large selection of sushi to choose from and a bunch of hot dishes as well. Their raw salmon tasted really fresh and they even had a raw salmon salad, new favorite dish. One of my friends swears that there’s a waiter here that looks like 100%‘s Sanghoon but we didn’t see him when we came:( The waiters seem nice, they don’t bother you or follow you around too much.

a giant MEH! NOUNIORSCALLOPANYTHINGON A SATURDAYNIGHT!!! LOSEONESTARFORTHIS Should’ve went to Mizumi instead… Virtually all the offerings were almost empty and the hot food was lukewarm. On a Saturday night 6:30 @ 30% capacity. Mizumi would have been a 30 minute wait and for good reason. Too expensive considering the competition runs rings around this place. I would also mention the crab legs are guarded and policed by a worker behind a glass enclosure like the bodegas found in high crime, low income neighborhoods. $ 107 for 3 adults and I have to deal with this!??

Love this local Sushi buffet! Lots of sushi and great seafood and fish options! They do have hot foods but not a lot. They do mainly raw and sushi. They do have udon, ramen, and soba noodles options. They have crepes(aint that great though) Best part is the ulimited amount of different sushi! Dessert is so so, but their green tea ice cream is great. I love the décor and the bathroom is very pretty. I don’t like how the price for a person does not include drinks. Most place includes drinks in the price but not here. Came here three times and it hasn’t disappointed me yet.

NOTRECOMMENDEDFORPARTIES! I had my daughter’s first birthday party hosted here. Initially we spoke with the manager, I believe his name was Jay. Jay told us the prices per person regardless of the group size is the same price, but if you would like the private room the price is $ 10 more per person with free drinks. We asked him if he can give us a discount since it is for a large party. We decided not to have the private room, and he told us, on that day if no one booked the room, then they’ll set up our party in the room at no additional price and a $ 3 off per person discount since it’s a party. Sounds great right? WRONG! During the day of the event, we had the private room. My husband and I assumed it’s because(1) it was pretty packed that day and/or(2) no one booked the room. Everything was fine and service was normal. I actually had to ask them to turn the AC on in the room, and the waiter came and ask me now or later(lol) Aside from that, during the event everything was fine. When the bill came at the end, we paid rapidly with out doing any calculations of our own; because our family members were being nosey to know how much it was. When we came home, I looked at the receipt and there was just a price and no description. Doesn’t show: price per person, or drinks, etc. Only showed the price(before tax), tax, and gratuities. I did some math, and no matter how I put in the calculator the price was still VERYOFF. It was off by like $ 200! My husband said, oh they ordered Juice. I guess juice wasn’t free, only soda was. Ok fine. But it still bugged me. Then I decided to calculate the price based off the price for private room(price per person) and bam! it was close to the amount we paid! Off by a little bit because of the juice which is fine. Drinks are no big deal to me, I even anticipated people to order beer but no one did because they assumed JUICE&SODA was free. They OVERCHARGED us by $ 10 per person which was ridiculous. And this is after my husband had spoke with the manager to set up this event. The manager wasn’t there on that specific date, but there should be a note stating we would be hosting our event at the regular price per person rate, NOT private room rate. HIGHLYHIGHLY disappointed. Definitely not returning here because of the disappointment. I would much rather go to Mizumi next time, or some other restaurant.

I’ve been to Japanese buffets when living in LA and visiting Vegas and this place is FAR superior! The difference is that they put out smaller quantities of sushi, sashimi, salads and hot foods and continually refill so you get the freshest possible food. And this place has clams and oysters on the half shell plus king crab legs making the price of entry a bargain. I went through 5 plates and wish I had room for more.

First off, I LOVE the location, right in the heart of main street. Service is excellent, many young servers who are friendly. They have a large variety of appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Despite being a sushi restaurant, they do not have AS much of a variety of sushi and sashimi as anticipated. But the ones they do serve, excellent. Their crab legs, shrimp cocktail and fresh oysters are it’s own plate, I can never get enough of those. Pricing is decent considering it’s all you can eat, and great quality food. As if you can’t get enough dessert from here, go right downstairs for more at Paris Baguette!

Came in for a late birthday lunch celebration. My family doesn’t eat a lot so coming in for lunch is very reasonable. But everything was on point in this restaurant! The service was good, they cleared out many plates right away. The sushi was to die for, the mackerel and the eel ones are a must have. The hot foods were just as good. They even had crawfish which was a little too messy for me but they are very tasty. The steamed skate was delicious. The ramen is very good too. I fell in love with this place. For the dessert I had green tea ice cream, tiramisu, green tea cake, the mocha cake and some fruits. We are sure to come back.

Came here for a celebration, there’s a fair amount of sushi to choose from. There isn’t a lot of sashimi. Self serve icecream and a crêpe station. Only problem I had was you didn’t get to choose the crab legs and oysters, the worker there would hand you the pieces.

Didn’t come to a sushi ayce w high expectations but not only was the sushi really low grade with only a small selection of cooked foods — but they could barely keep the sushi and food coming out fast enough to keep the buffet from being empty… Mind you, the restaurant was barely half full on a friday night… There was a man yelling at the buffet station asking where is all the food. The dessert station was really low budget as well… Side note: the fact tht each person can only grab one crab claw at a time was so annoying, pointless and defeats the purpose of ayce… our whole table had to get up together and go together to the raw bar to come back with one plate… The staff was really young, but very friendly and nice… If you’re looking for decent ayce — look elsewhere…

All you can eat sushi buffet! The first thing that struck me about this place was the sheer size of the restaurant. They have 4 buffet aisles featuring all kinds of sushi, rolls, hot dishes, cold dishes, desserts, a made to order crêpe stand, fish, shellfish, beef, chicken, pork, tempura, health food and the list goes on. There should be something here for even the pickiest of eaters. After being seated and placing a drink order we were set loose onto the buffet. I’ll comment mostly on the sushi and rolls since that is what I spent the majority of my stomach space on. Rolls — There were atleast 20 different kinds of rolls. I enjoyed their spicy volcano roll, king crab roll, and Philadelphia roll. Sushi — The tuna did not disappoint. Not fatty, but not quite lean either. I felt that it was good quality for the price paid(and all you can eat!). The salmon was a little sea-watery tasting which I’m not entirely sure how I feel about, not terrible but I didn’t go back for seconds of it either. I also tried their takoyaki(battered octopus) which was very creamy and really hit the spot. The service while not really friendly was not rude either. In any case they kept our drinks flowing with minimal wait, which is all I can really ask for. In the end, I left extremely full and satisfied.

Came for dinner n it was way too packed. There was a party going on so lots of ppl everywhere. Lines were plentiful by the crêpe station. Food was ok. Had better @ other buffets. Chilean sea bass was ok but littler over cooked. They a lot 1 crab legs per visit which is annoying to some. There were lots of diff rolls mostly w sim fillings — crab stick n cucumber or cream cheese. Lots o kids who were not behaving. Saw 1 kid sniffing lollipops n pitching them back into the bucket. The poor crêpe lady had to keep throwing them out. Pls folks watch ur kids @ the buffet lines. They’re not behaving n ruining the exp for other paying customers. Servers were nice n helpful. Location is ez to get to.

Nori Nori is the buffet that everyone in Flushing or Queens have been raving about; and I have been dying to go and take a look at this place. They have valet parking after you pay the bill and get a stamp. The place can accommodate a lot of people. The seating area is huge. The area where the food is served, has maybe three rows of area. They have a variety of sushi rolls, but not as much as minado in Long Island. Their sashimi comes in tiny individual plates, where you pick and choose which tiny plate of sashimi you want. However, although it is much more sanitary, the sashimi plates are always gone; attendees always leave the dishes with the smallest sashi pieces, who knows how long they have been sitting out. Their raw bar has a variety of clams, oysters or crablegs; however they give you a maxium of two of each per visit to the raw bar. The hot food selection has a variety of skewers, fish, tempura, pumpkin soup, and even a variety of appetizers to choose from. After walking around and taking only a little portion of what i think is appetizing, by the third time going around, i felt like this was any other buffet. They also have a crêpe bar. The lady that was making the crepes is nice, however she KNEW and i know that she knows there was a spider in the blueberries but she opt to pick the blue berries around the spider. SOWELP there goes me having to put any fruits in my crêpe. I took my crêpe and went to the green tea ice cream machine and walaaa.

Came here for lunch today and they don’t offer buffet lunch anymore. Instead they only serve bento boxes, appetizers and noodles. We placed our orders(limited menu) which came with miso soup and ice cream. We had to ask for refills for our waters and no one came to check on us. There were also a lot of dirty dishes left at our table when we were done with our soups but no one came to take them away. My nieces went to get ice cream from the machine and got yelled at by the waiter saying no one is allowed to touch it and they had to serve it to us. There was no sign stating that we couldn’t serve ourselves and he didn’t have to yell at my nieces. We come here for birthdays and every time this waiter serves us he gives us attitude. Not happy at all. Will never return. This place went down hill fast. Mizumi is way better. It’s further but worth it and the servers are all friendly every time. Also, why would you put sliced oranges between the California rolls in the bento boxes and sliced lemon between the sushi?! It killed the taste for our food! GROSS!

Lunch and dinner service at this restaurant is so opposite… It’s literally like day and night… Lunch service here lack variety in food selections… All the sashimi pieces or seafood options look so old and have been sitting there all day. Avoid lunch at all cost!!! Dinner service here amazed me… This is how a full round Japanese buffet is suppose to be! There is a rich selection of food choices which includes seafood, sushi, snow crab legs, oysters, and clams! I love that they have sea urchin — uni has an option! This particular dish runs out quickly so have someone as a watcher for it! In the noodles station, they have udon, ramen, soba options available in a little noodles bowl. You choose what you want and the guy behind the station makes it for you. The guy in that station was very polite and always smiling! Hot entrée selections are skewers — chicken, buttered clams, fried noodles, and fried rices. Desserts are even better — different bites of cakes and my favorite crêpe! The crêpe line is pretty long so be prepared or keep a look out when the line is dying down. Overall, it’s worth a try!

Close to $ 50 on a weekend night for a sushi buffet. Ehh. Food was a tad cold in my opinion. But the real reason why I came here was for the unlimited king crab legs and green tea ice cream. Would give this place a 5⁄5 stars but I slipped going down the steps where no caution signs were visible on a wet and slippery night. Should’ve sued them lol jk.

Very spacious for a second floor Japanese buffet. Waiters were very attentive and removed the plates off the table fairly quickly. Each section of the food were organized really well, but sometimes a problem would arise as where the line should be formed. Sushi was very fresh and the sashimi are a show stopper. The absolute best was the raw bar with freshly shucked oysters and clams. Only 3 per plate and 5 crab legs per plate also, it gets a bit annoying after awhile but keeps everything fair and under control. Hot food was good also. They had ramen, udon and soba; soba was served on a wooden plate, really cute and traditional. Crêpe was tasty along with their ice cream machine. Avoid the cakes and sweets because they were hard and cold when I was there(maybe I was that unlucky). Each buffet has their own flaws but it doesn’t mean I won’t return to give it another chance. Worth the try.

Came here for the lunch serving one Saturday afternoon and came away disappointed. Where to begin? Well, let’s start with the brightside, which doesn’t even have anything to do with the restaurant. If you drive to Flushing and park in the Queens Crossing Mall lot, you will get free parking based on a stamp you can get from Nori Nori. Hooray free parking! Now for the bad news. Well, I don’t know if it’s just the lunch or it is the same for the dinner, but I was disappointed in the selection at the buffet. The sushi was fantastic and there was a nice variety of rolls and sushi, but everything else available just didn’t cut it for me. I could say it was just me, but the people I was with had the same opinion. The fact we had high expectations certainly didn’t help. During lunch, the raw bar is closed, so no raw oysters, clams or Alaskan king crab legs. BOOOOOOOO! I’ve been to lunch at other buffets, such as Mizumi, and they offered just about everything during lunch. The selection was quite small for the cooked foods since ½ of the buffet was made up of sushi. The cooked foods didn’t contain anything spectacular. There were fried foods, clams, mussels, rice, noodles, soups and«bootleg» dim sum items(the ones that look like they were taken out of a frozen package). Just an «ok» selection to choose from. The dessert offered a decent size variety, with fruits, various little cakes(including red velvet and green tea) and soft serve green tea ice cream. The green tea ice cream was my fave. It actually WAS pretty good! The quality of some foods weren’t what I expected either. I ate one fried pork on a stick and it was dry like a bone. The dessert cakes were a bit stiff and not as soft as they could be. The only real positive was the sushi. The sushi was well made and the variety was awesome! They had some many different sushi and rolls I was quite surprised on the positive end. It’s worth it to come here for lunch just for the sushi since you’re paying the lunch price. It’s that good! I’m looking forward to seeing what their dinner is like and hope that the selection is bigger for the cooked foods.

Came here to eat for my sister’s birthday dinner. Price seem expensive, but overall this buffet is definitely worth it’s price. There was no wait to get a table because the place have a lot of seating. Service was great, they manage to put together a cake for my sister since we didn’t had time to get one(they used their dessert to form a little cake). They have a wide variety of sushi, salad, seafood, hot food, and dessert. Workers are a little slow on filling up the selection of foods but every round or two, food is restocked. Their selection of sushi is big, there’s sashimi and different rolls, some I haven’t ate before. Their seafood get clear out really quick, especially the crab legs and oysters. Their salad was good, there’s kimchi, mango, seaweed, and regular green salad. Their hot food was okay, the wings didn’t taste that great. They had dumplings, noodles, and others. Their dessert was good, they had crêpe, green tea & vanilla ice cream, cookies, cake, cheesecake, fruits, and cream puffs. The cream puffs didn’t taste that great, didn’t try their cookies, but their red velvet was definitely good.

I’ve heard a lot of great things about Nori Nori and was so excited to try it out for a friend’s birthday. I had no idea that Nori Nori was hidden inside Queens Crossing. I liked how when we first arrived there were a few women welcoming us into Nori Nori. Massive seating area and private rooms. Servers were very friendly and nice. There ‘s a great variety of food. They have several stations with food, from sushi to dessert to sashimi to hot food to ramen and soba, to salads and appetizers. Like I said there’s a lot of food here. The quality of the food here is better than Ichi-Umi and prepared fresh and looks fantastic! I really liked the ramen we got because it was just scrumptious. The sushi was really fresh and was filled with good quality ingredients that were fresh and beautifully crafted. I was amazed with the fact that they had takoyaki too! It’s not as great as the ones I’ve had in East Village, but still decent. I also tried their green tea ice cream, but wasn’t too impressed with it. They also had the small sponge cakes like you would find in Ichi-Umi I was really impressed with the food at Nori Nori. It is a bit pricey here, but may be I will return here later on.

My parents live for all you can eats! Well only really true for Japanese ones with lots of sushi, sashimi and raw seafood. My parents and I arrived at the entrance at 11:45 am(their opening time) and noticed a bunch of staffs standing by the door which i thought were waiting for first wave of customers. But i guessed wrong, Although they were all standing there, they didn’t open the door until a little past 12. We were still the first party to be seated and we immediately charged towards the sushi bar. For lunch buffet, i was impressed by their variety of sushi and hot food. The staff worked really hard to keep replenishing each station. I got sushi-Ed out fast however due to excessive mayo on each roll. I ended up really liking the two types of tofu and seaweed salad. The pumpkin porridge was delicious but way too hot out to have another bowl. The dessert station had 5 types of fruits, 10 types of cookies and dozen types of cakes! My fav were the almond cookies, green tea red bean cake and blueberry yogurt! The green tea soft serve was good but not green tea enough for me. The crêpe station wasn’t available during lunch time which was a bummer for me. However about 20 dollars per person definitely got my money worth! Can’t wait to see what is available for dinner!

Buffets start with stretching the stomach the days before and then starving yourself on the day of. I walked into Nori Nori hungry and with high hopes that this is as good as everyone describes. Maybe Nori Nori’s quality has peaked because I can’t relate to all these high reviews. In fact the food was very mediocre and comparable to East Buffet quality. The selection let alone the taste of the food is not worth the 31.95 charge. The Bad: — Snow crab legs were overly salty like every other Asian buffet. As usual, they were soaked in a salt water bath. — Crab cakes were the worst. The filling was not even crab but a mixture of shrimp and vermicelli. Also they fried the outer layer to a crisp. It was like eating the burnt hard rice on the bottom of a clay rice pot. Avoid at all cost — All the different types of(cooked) fish from whitefish to cod was overcooked, tough and dry. — There was a severe limited selection of sushi and sashimi and the rolls they did have are those Americanized ones. The octopus and arctic surf clams had no essence of the sweet seafood taste. — Clams and mussels were full of sand and shell shards — Why is there fried rice offered? (I didn’t eat any sushi/sashimi on this visit which is probably the only decent thing Nori Nori offers) The Good: — The different types of salads and cooked vegetables — The tataki’s were full of flavor and fresh — The service was excellent. I would have gave Nori Nori 2 stars if it wasn’t for the attentive and professional waiters/waitresses. Even though we got a private room, they constantly checked on us, cleared our plates, and refilled our waters. They even rummaged through the restaurant looking for change for us when we only had big bills to pay the check. Best buffet service I ever had. When it comes to Asian/Sushi buffets, in my opinion, Nori Nori is not as good as Minado, Ichi Umi, etc. The quality is a bit lower and the selection is not on par at all. But in the end, there are always 2 similarities, the crab leg graveyard and the full stomach from 6 plates of seafood.

From the people who brought you Minado’s comes Nori Nori, you super posh all-you-can-eat sushi buffet! I tend to stay away from these types of buffet due to raw fish sitting out on a free-for-all-grabs bar, but Nori Nori was surprisingly fresh and sanitary(I never did like Minado/Todai/Ichiumi too much). The hot selection was pretty good, with fish, tempura, dim sum, and and soup for choices. Here are the most high traffic areas: — The crêpe station. Line up for your custom made crêpe! — The sashimi. It’s fresh because people keep taking them! — The snow crab legs. They can’t cook these fast enough! Oh, side notes: some utensils you’ll have to ask for because they are not readily available(forks, crab opener, wipes, etc).

A Serendipitous Encounter… my lovely ladies and I were initially going to hot pot. but it didn’t work out due to long waiting time so we hopped over to several other restaurants and encountered the same situation… Then we hit Nori Nori with no lines, no waiting time, and settled to eat here because we were all hungry. It was quite a random encounter… but we were glad we had a delicious fulfilling Japanese Buffet despite being overly stuffed in the end. =P Highlight of the night: Fresh fruits, such as papaya, watermelon, grape fruit, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, and etc. My friend, Xue T., and I went back for seconds to get the papaya right when the guy brought it out. FRESH! Yup, definitely winner of the night! Bestsellers: Seafood, such as snowcrab legs, raw oysters, clams, and mussels. The seafood is very clean, absolutely no sand at all! Loved the raw oysters with cocktail sauce. Tip: You have to be fast because everyone grabs the raw oysters once they come out. Well, no worries, just wait for the guy to bring more out. Delicious crepes! The thin crêpe had a crisp consistency; the fruits were very fresh; the red beans were perfectly sweetened. Tip: For the topping, ask for«everything»! Fresh sushi and sashimi. Fairly good sushi selection but could use more variety. I loved the salmon the most! Friendly and attentive service. Waitors constantly came over to check up on us, refilled our water and hot green tea, took plates away, and gave us more napkins in a timely manner. UNLIMITED eating time. you won’t get kicked out! Unlike other buffet restaurants, there is no time limit on how long you can stay at Nori Nori. You can stay all day lol. We definitely ate over 90 mins. whoas, maybe 2 hours even. Absolutely no rushing feeling! After eating plates after plates, I needed a moment to breathe lol. Too much food consumption. Definitely got our moneys worth though. Overall, we all enjoyed the food. Downside: No lobsters. On the pricey side. The desserts are just ok. Not enough space between the seats.

I’ve never been a fan of sushi buffet places that are not made to order, so I was quite skeptical about all the good reviews on Unilocal. But, this place exceeded my expectations in terms of the quality and variety of sushi. Raw Foods: They offer small plates of sashimi, sushi pieces, and rolls. The fish was fresh and they even had Ikura, but no Uni.(update: came back again and they had uni!) I really liked the seasoned tuna sashimi plate. You can smell the hint of sesame oil they put in it. I’ve noticed that tuna is not as tasty in NY, but they did a good job with it. It’s(ALMOST) similar to ahi poke in Hawaii, but not quite there yet. I also really liked that they seasoned their raw oysters! I’ve never been to a buffet that actually puts sauce and a small piece of lemon on their oysters(most places jsut shuck the oysters and leave it out as is). The beef tataki was yummy too. Hot Foods: I usually don’t eat the hot foods, so I can’t really say it’s good or not, but I did see a decent amount of variety. They had king crab legs, tempura, salmon teriyaki, yakitori, takoyaki, crab cakes, some dim sum items, kani salad, seaweed salad, scallop salad, short ribs, stuffed shrimp, etc. Desserts: They have your usual cakes and soft served vanilla or green tea ice cream. The green tea ice cream is a bit on the sweet side, but I really enjoyed it! What stands out is that they have a small custom made crêpe area. You tell the lady what kinda fruits you want in the crêpe and she’ll make it for you! Service was excellent. Staff was friendly and had smiles on their faces. The restaurant itself is very clean and spacious. Some of the tables in the middle are close to each other and you’re probably not going to be able to fit in there if there’s a morbidly obese individual on the next table. Other than that, the food was good and displayed in a very organized way. I wish I knew about this place earlier!
