I’m writing this review specifically for their Conch & Vegetable Rice Noodle w/spicy house sauce. I’ve honestly never heard of a phở offering this dish before but I decided to take the risk and try something new. The conch tastes a bit chewy but there’s something about it that made it fit so well with the dish. It reminds me of a Vietnamese version of bibimbap, but rather than beef or pork, the dish uses conch in its place. The vegetable rice noodles are nicely mixed with fresh ingredients, spices and cilantro — piquant, strong, yet not over-powering. House sauce adds even more flavor and the conch provides a contrasting yet well-balanced texture. I come back to this place simply for their conch & vegetable rice noodle dish. I love how unique and different it is; the restaurant gives fairly large servings(for phở too) and only for a price of $ 10ish or so.

I don’t usually write long reviews. But please, fellow Unilocalers, hear me out. Phở 32 is my go to for phở. I go to all the Phở 32s — in Flushing, Murray, and Bayside. But it’s been a while since I’ve craved phở, so yesterday’s visit to Phở 32 at this location was like a ‘long time no see’ feeling. Let me tell you — it was the worst experience ever. The moment I walked in, the place reeked of dirty rags. My table wasn’t wiped(there was no one there, why would you seat me at a dirty table?). The bathroom was dirty as hell. The dishes were sticky(the kind of sticky where you just leave dirty dishes out for a while and even washing it won’t help). I let EVERYTHING go cause I still had faith in the food. Stupid me. Stupid stupid me. I got the special rice paper plate or whatever called won lam ssam. I’ve got it plenty of times before, but this time just changed the whole game. There was hair in the cucumbers. I let it go. The tomatoes and the pineapples were old — to the point where they were getting pretty transparent. Stupid me let it go. The meat was so old — it was obviously cooked twice. It was hard and it looked like leftover, day old samgyupsal you eat the next day. Put it all together and what do you get? A foul taste that kills your taste buds. Food poisoning if you’re not careful. I’ve worked at a restaurant so I know how hard it is on the waiters/waitresses. Cause it’s not their fault. But I couldn’t hold it in. I told them that everything was skeptical and that we had to leave. At least they let us go I guess… I kinda know how restaurants work. This place clearly has no proper management and is run by teenagers or something. I don’t blame them; it’s a 24 hr place and it’s hard. But this place has gone too far. Btw, we asked them to refrigerate a cake for us. The box came back sticky and with a bug on it. Shows how dirty the refrigerator is as well. Great way to top off my experience Murray Hill Phở 32. Props to you.

I always loved phở, and since I live around the area i often come here. They’re serving lunch special for like $ 5? But ita normally $ 7 for a small size and $ 9 for a larger size. I always order ph4 !

She had the phở and I had the Vietnamese style pork katsu. Mine was too fried, tough and u could probably get knocked out if it was thrown at ur head. Her phở wasn’t all that either. The spring roll was horrible. I did like their cilantro, onions, and tomato salad. I will def NEVER go back. I don’t think they deserve 1 star, but the 1 star is for the politeness and courtesy of their waitstaff. Stay clear of this spot ppls, not worth it!

Needs to be re-inspected. Ive been to this place couple of times. Food is decent but not really sure if it’s sanitary. This last visit was in the late afternoon. The tables smelled like someone puked. The tables were sticky so had to ask to clean it again. Ordered phở and some appetizers tasted the same as usual. We wanted some sauces and grabbed almost each sauce plates, all sticky feeling with grease. Unfortunately this is the only reason for the bad review on this place UNCLEANLINESS. Makes u think how clean the food is.

Clean restaurant, prices are decent, but the food could be better. Since this is suppose to be vietnamese cuisine, the restaurant doesn’t keep it vietnamese. They add a korean twist to all the meals. The ambiance is modern and simple. The phở sandwich is not the vietnamese one with the pork, cucumber, and parleys. They use other meat and just tastes like any other american sandwich with mayonnaise. The only time I am ever able to eat delicious phở noodle soup is lunch time. During lunch time this place have a deal where you can get a bowl of noodle soup with a sandwich for no more than $ 10. Very filling and very satisfying. Anytime after 4:00pm, chances are the soup either taste too salty or too bland. Do not come here for authentic vietnamese food, this is just a place you should try without any high expectations. It is definitely best to go during lunch time and you will get your moneys worth. Parking is scarce around the neighborhood and the restaurant has about 3 – 4 parking spots in front of the restaurant that is usually occupied. Nice bathroom too. :D

Slow service. Food was just ok nothing special. The music is too loud. Theres only about 4 or 5 parking spaces in the front of the restaurant. My Two stars are only for the décor. It says Vietnamese but its really Korean owned so u know what to expect on the food(kimchi of course, but with phở?) and they don’t have basil which is a must have that goes along with phở!

We came here around 4pm for late lunch. The place was pretty empty. The place feels more like a Korean restaurant instead of Vietnamese. Place is pretty clean. Service was decent. As for the food, we don’t think it’s good. We both ordered phở. The soup was flavorless. The portion is decent, just like other places but the price is definitely more expensive than most places. Not sure if we would go back… We’ve had better phở elsewhere…

Phở must be the best hangover food. Phở 32 is my first choice when it comes to Phở. Food is consistently good and comes out pretty quick.

Good place to eat. I come here late nights since i live a few blocks. The soups are good, but the pork chop can be cooked longer.

ONLYGOODFORLUNCHATTHERESTAURANT!!! I’ve eaten here(very) often for lunch and dinner and also have taken out phở. Their prices are cheap(about $ 10 per person) the food is filling and the place is clean! I’ve noticed a severe discrepancy on the soup depending on the time of day you go. During lunch, it is wonderful, the broth being lighter than other phở restaurants. However, by dinner time, the soup becomes extremely concentrated and I wouldn’t recommend any of their soup dishes for anyone with affinity towards high blood pressure. Holy salty!!! Also stay away from their takeout. I felt like they gave me noodles that were left over or something since the noodles were all chopped up(this happened twice — and I will never take out from here again) Few things. They have a «Buy 10 get one free» coupon. which they don’t tell you about so you have to ask if you go to this location often. The parking is very limited(they have 2 spaces) and because its by Murray Hill Station and the Korean«restaurant row» the street parking tends to be scarce as well

I think this is the best Phở 32 location out of them all. They serve more meat with their phở and soup is more flavorful. Although they don’t give you a lot of basil/bean sprout/etc, you can always ask for more.

I do agree with the previous reviewer in regards to the phở being catered to the Korean community. It is much lighter but cleaner version of the viet/chinese style phở. It is by no means watered down tho. Just a lighter consistency. The meat quality is by far superior than the other local viet place [Mekong on northern]. All in all. i would recommend. fyi. still cannot compete with the phở places in Elmhurst and yes this is yet another run in the mill pho32 franchise.

Standard Phở 32 chain — but they don’t give you the fragrant leaves for the phở, and their broth is generally cleaner/crisp tasting(but not as yummy! or flavorful). I think this was to accommodate the largely Korean population of this area, and the kitchen decided to make it more appealing to them. Down side: the neighborhood in this area is FULL of drinky drinky spots, thus resulting in a lot of drunk people on the streets in the evening hours(old drunken men. wobbling into their cabs. throwing up.). Inside the restaurant also, are a lot of rude customers, who yell for attention, comment on everything, insult everyone in sight. makes you lose your appetite. Another interesting sight: if you go late enough(since they are 24 hours), you’ll see the«working ladies» from the near by… entertainment. building…
