This please is inexpensive and delicious. My friend order bolgogi over and I got the ramen. We shared a spicy tuna kimbab. Everything was in huge portions. It was a small comfy family style atmosphere. Very. Causal. The waiter/waitress were helpful/patient and sweet. I can’t wait to try other things.

Rolly Kimbab is great! Very good place to get a quick bite to eat. Inexpensive and tons of variety. You can snack here or dine here since they have both kimbaps/rice rolls/and big entrees. They do a great job for take-out but dining in gets you more soup(hehe) and little appetizers.

Their rice balls are really good. The workers there are so nice as well. Also they have lunch specials every weekday for $ 6 which is a very reasonable price. Recommend the spicy tuna riceball.

Lots of options for under $ 10. The special set and couple’s set comes with a lot of food and can be shared with 2 – 3 ppl and cost just under $ 20. The special set comes with dukkboki and their version did not turn me over. I think their sauce was too spicy and sweet for my liking. The tonkatsu was tasty and portion size was very shareable. Comes with a really tasty sauce. The kimbap is pretty good. They offer all the usual options. They also have rice balls which I haven’t tried yet. I have also had their bacon kimchi fried rice which i really liked. I was actually expecting to get a full order of rice but it is served in a bento box tray with salad and 3 small banchan dishes, plus soup on the side. Still a very good filling meal for $ 9. The fried rice was super tasty. While the bacon wasn’t crispy it served to impart a nice meaty and smoky flavor. I’ve only done take-out but the interior is small and cozy. About 6– 8 tables. It seems like a family run business and the staff are courteous.

over time Rolly kimbap got better! everything I order from here, kimbap, raboki, mandoo soup, momil gooksoo, tonkatsu well everything has been tasty. great price, good service, good portion and good even when you do take out. my mom had good experience here too. of course food was good. as we were leaving, she paid too much money but didn’t know it. you know how new bills can stick together. the guy gave back extra bill. :-) good food, good people, good times!

Came here to pick up a few kimbap rolls for my friend’s birthday party. This place is really small and only has enough seating for about 15 people. It does seem a little run down but the seating area did seem clean though. There is definitely a language barrier issue. The workers don’t really speak English, only Korean, so I think the best way to order is just to say which number kimbap you want. I got the Rolly, Spicy bulgogi, and Omelette kimbap and I found them all to be very standard and tasty. I mean you can’t really expect anything mind blowing from kimbap but the ones here definitely met my expectations. $ 15.50 for 3 rolls which is a great deal for a cheap, delicious and filling meal!

Portions are pretty good. Our party had 3 adults and 3 kids. We had the couples special, fried rice, bulgogi rice ball, gyoza and a few other items. We actually over ordered but everything was delicious. Service was decent but the one thing was that the only big enough table was directly under the AC which was on full blast and it was freezing. I had to put on a sweater and you could see the wind blowing our hairs. The waitress didn’t offer to change the direction of the AC even though she saw that I put on my hoodie over my head too. Btw it was maybe 70 degrees outside at 11am, not that hot.

Stop by for Korean fast foods that are yummy, quick, and doesn’t break the bank. I’ve come here with my boyfriend for lunch plenty of times, and now that we’re married, we still go for lunch or order pick up/delivery from them now and then, when we need a Korean fix. It’s a timeless place for a quick bite. We love their heavily stuffed kimbap rolls and«couple set», which comes with just the right amount of food to share between kids, a few of your girlfriends, or yourself and the hubs. Service is slow and pretty bad for such a small place that could easily provide better attention to customers, but hey, the great menu, portions, and convenience Rolly provides makes up for it, so here’s the 4 stars.

I’m here for the second time. Cheap and yummy! I was having the crunch kimbap and I am having it again because it’s so tasty!!! Crunch and big. Although they have good business but their service is good too, probably because the shop is small enough to take a glimpse of view with just two second. The only one star I am saving is for the space. If you have a group more than 5, you are in trouble getting a seat. Today I’m ordering cup bab, one is donkatsu one is bulgogi. Both were ok. They were not served hot so not my thing. I would not recommend them if you want some hot yummy food. Anyway, I tried the boiled beef soup and suntofu, they were pretty good!

I would come back when the weather isn’t that warm haha came with my friends and we were literally sweating buckets, was there even ac in there? *we ordered the couple set which consisted of the kimbap, katsu, tteokbokki, and small salad side for only around $ 20 pros: –super filling –inexpensive food –great portion(couple set was enough for 3 teenagers) –served with a pitcher of tap water and lemons *sorry pros for me include having a bathroom haha and yummy side dishes cons: –not many seats –crowded –mostly self service because we were seated ourselves. only two ladies working and they were busy with something else no one came to refill our water so we decided to get up and refill ourselves haha katsu was delish hehe but then again when are katsus ever disgusting oops kimbap was mostly made of veggies and pretty tasteless but good rice cakes came with half an egg, fishcakes, and kimchi yum not super spicy

The restaurant is small and cute. First I saw I thought it was a Japanese sushi place but once we got inside turn out it is Korean but it find by me, I was supper hungry I could eat anything at that time LoL. My friends and I not familiar with Korean food so we random order by looked the picture in the menu. Service is ok(family style) felling warm different from city. Food came very huge. We love our food. If we go around the area we will definitely go to this place again

What I always thought was Japanese is actually Korean. What I’m talking about are those round rice rolls wrapped with seaweed known as kimbab that you’ll find in Korean delis(and Yips). In the mood for Korean food(and kimbab) while driving along Northern Blvd(heading east)? Order takeout from Rolly Kimbab and order the Bacon Kimbab, BBQ Chicken Kimbab, Rice Topped w/Chicken Terriyaki and Kimchi Fried Rice. The prices are very reasonable for the portions they serve.

Came here a second time after seeing all the reviews after my initial visit. We came here around dinner time yesterday and decided to order the special set which comes with the bulgogi fried rice, dubokki(I think that’s how you spell it, I’m probably wrong lol) and donkatsu. We also ordered a spicy bulgogi Kimbab as well. The amount of food we ordered was enough to feed a group of four. Everything tastes great. It’s a small place and we noticed people came here to eat as a quick, «home cooked» feel type of meal. The tea is very, very hot. I burned my tongue drinking it so watch out lol I’d say a total of $ 25 worth of food for dinner for two is just awesome!

How much kimbap can you eat? If your answer is a lot, then you’ve come to the right place! Got the couple set which includes a pork cutlet(super crispy and wasn’t oily at all), spicy rice cake with fish cake and spam kimbap or rolly kimbap($ 18) Also ordered a crunchy rice ball($ 5) with the bulgogi filling(you can choose cheese or spam too). Not took bad. Tasted like a fried rice ball. Nothing too amazing about it. Bulgogi meat wasn’t that flavorful. And variety kimbap(kimchi, tuna, bulgogi filling). Don’t come here expecting to be serviced like at other restaurants. I only saw two people working the front taking go-to orders and sit-in orders. The only interaction I had with the server was placing our order and receiving our food. I visited during dinner hours so the phone was ringing nonstop so don’t expect them to be watching to serve you the bill. I had to get the bill from the cashier(who was also doubling as the waiter). Money quite well spent!

This visit was recommended by a friend who swears that this place has some of the best kimbab ever. we didn’t believe her so a bunch of us came by on a Friday night to eat. The place is small but easy to find, it sits on Northern Blvd directly across the street from the Broadway LIRR station. Parking is not too bad, there’s usually spots near the LIRR station or on Northern blvd. NOTE: The place is not big, there’s only about 5 tables of 4s in the place, so if you have a big party, might wanna think again. We ordered the special combo for two($ 20)which came with fried Pork Cutlet, fried rice and spicy rice cake. since we were here, we felt that we need to try the Kimbab which my swears by so we got the Spicy tuna($ 5.5), Bulgogi($ 5.5)and Omelette Kimbab.($ 6) When the special combo arrived, we know we ordered too much food! the combo was huge, I think you can feed at least 3 people with it! I was not impressed with the fried rice but the pork cutlet and rice cake was on point. The pork cutlet was flavorful and juicy, there’s a good crunch with every bite, and it was dressed with a reasonable amount of sauce. The rice cake was chewy and soft like it should be, it’s a bit on the spicier side but it’s not too extreme. Then one by one came the Kimbabs– My favorite is definitely the Omelette Kimbab– how can it not be? I LOVEEGGS! but even all my friends said this one is clearly the winner. the egg gave the kimbab a good textural contrast as well as making it super moist! OHHHH so good! unfortunately I only had like 2 pieces and then it was all gone… PUFF! To me the bulgogi and spicy tuna kimbabs were on the drier side. they both had good flavor but the rice taste a little hard and didnt’ have the texture contrast as the omelette. We end up taking 2 rolls of kimbabs home at the end of the night. I wouldn’t say this is the best kimbab ever but it’s GOOD and the omelette one was GREAT! Definitely will come back again! excellent value in terms of cost vs food quality!

A casual place to grab lunch. They have a few tables if you dine in but I saw most people usually just order a roll of kimbab or rice balls and are out. It’s more of a self service place where they give you a pitcher of water, take your order and bring out your food. If you need anything else, you kind of have to flag them down and grab their attention. I don’t mind since most Korean restaurants tend to be that way. I got the takoyaki rice balls which were alright. The topping and the sauce was good but the squid inside the rice ball was hard, rubbery and not very chewable. I also shared a special set which comes with spicy rice cakes, kimbab and donkatsu. All of the dishes were decent. Nothing too special, but nothing tasted awful. This is the kind of place to go if you’re in the mood for simple and consistent Korean food.
