THIS IS ABOUT THE FOOD COURT!
Are you kidding me? The food court only has 3 vendors. The one that advertises itself as Chinese food has no Chinese at scene. The outlets itself is big and has lots of stores but the food court is so disappointing.

I love going to Tanger Outlet. I almost always find what I need while I’m out there. Everyone is very friendly, and if you’re a member the coupon books have amazing deals. My biggest complaint would be that the food court sucks, just plain and simple. There is a lack of variety, well just good food in general actually. Other than that I’m out there every other week.

Been here many times over the last about 20 years while visiting Orange Beach from Illinois. I have found a lot of great deals, especially during the President’s Day sale. My only negative comment is that several times, including my trip on 2/​23, the mall has closed really early due to inclement weather. Some stores closed at 3 and some at 3:30 that day with no notice other than walking into a store and the associate saying, «The whole mall is closing.» After that we went for appetizers and dinner in the area and it didn’t even start getting bad until several hours later. I think they could have easily stayed open longer. I guess it depends on your basis of comparison. That wouldn’t stop anyone from anything in IL.

Great selection of stores. I got to visit the Big & Tall Ralph Lauren store for the first time last weekend and I loved it. I also like Under Armour store because they always have great sales.

So many great stores. It is been there since I was a teenager many, many moons ago. I was glad to see that it hadn’t deteriorated given that so much shopping has moved online. I’m always able to find a pair of running shoes I think he outlet. My sister-​in-​law really enjoyed the Ann Taylor store. All the different shoe stores are great. All the children stores are great. It must be the biggest Old Navy I’ve ever seen. And of course everyone has to go to Starbucks. We had a great time. There was something for everyone.

These are pretty much just some outlet stores which have your classic outlet stores like Coach, Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic, etc. The stores are built like a circle within a circle with a nice quad in the middle. Great place for your chain store shopping needs!

One of the only stores that was of interest to me is Coach and I just bought what I wanted in the Gulfport location so I didn’t even go in because that could be dangerous lol. I was really hoping for a Lucky store but there was none. The mall is clean and it was pretty busy but I would not shop in the majority of the stores and that makes it a won’t be back for me– ever. My boyfriend loves Brooks Brothers but he said everything in the store was not good and most of it was stuff he would never were and he has some really nice BB clothes at home. Oh well, just not for me. 3 stars for being clean and even though it was crowded we had little problem getting a parking spot. Just check the directory before you go.

I’ve been coming to this mall since I was in high school, a traditional stop during any beach trip. Over the years, the Tanger outlet has only improved. Each year, I find they are always adding new and more high end retailers which is great! It’s a very large outlet mall and can easily take a full day to cover. Make sure you wear comfy shoes! Some stores are «made for factory» so know what you are getting into before getting caught up in the crazy deals. They may not be as good as you think they are. Shop smart, peeps! The ample parking lot makes it easy and stress free to find a parking spot. Surrounding the area are lots of restaurants if you need a quick meal before you set out for round 2.

I love shopping but I hate malls. Ugh, so exhausting.
This past Memorial weekend was my first time in the Tanger Outlets in gosh… 22 years!!! Not since I was a wee kid tagging along with a bunch of grown ups and bored cousins.
It also was my first time in an outlet mall as an adult. I avoid them.
The JCrew was nice. The Banana Republic was not so nice… but was so dang freaking cheap! $ 100 sweater for $ 14! Now that’s a deal. I’m not sure how a $ 200 dress at Brooks Brothers is Outlet pricing. Not a deal. Maybe they’re generally even more expensive?
The TJ Maxx was not outlet pricing, just an ordinary TJ but a good one!
The thing about outlets these days is you aren’t getting marked down good stuff. You’re getting made-​especially-​for-​the-​outlet stuff. Just know that and… have fun shopping?
The service at The Loft was abyssal. In half the stores, no one greeted us. I hope you don’t get secret shopped…

This shopping center is generally ok. We had a run in at American Eagle where I tried to buy some overalls that were clearly marked $ 29.99 with 50%. The cashier rang them up and they rang up $ 24.99 with no discount (false advertising, just saying). I pointed out the error and she had a horrible attitude and refused to fix it. So I decided not to purchase them. I went back the next day and found the same pair of overalls. However the girl had stuck a $ 24.99 tag on them while all the others just like it were still labeled $ 29.99. I took them to the register and had a different girl ring them up. They still rang up $ 24.99 (which is what the new tag said). Without any issues the girl added the 50% discount and I got them cheaper than I would have the day before. To top it off the second girl was just sweet as pie.
The outlets as a whole are ok. It’s a ton of walking but the stores have pretty good prices and we come every year, sometimes twice a trip.

Outlet malls can be hit or miss. Prices are often no better than sale prices at regular stores. But the Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley is fabu! First of all, it’s huge with all the big names you’re looking for — Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Brooks Brothers, Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, Nautica, J Crew, Izod, Gap and more. And that’s just clothing. Second of all, mid– January is a great time to shop. Clearance prices and discounts are at their highest as stores try to drum up business after Christmas. It wasn’t unusual to find discounts of 70% being offered. Other promotions are designed to keep you shopping, like 20% off or dollar amount discounts on a return trip. I tore up the outlet mall and dropped some bucks while stuffing my car with packages full of great deals.
The Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley is one of the best outlet malls I’ve been to and definitely my favorite. It’s everything you need under one roof.
