This was the best customer service place we had while at Folly Beach. We were the only ones there and the service was excellent. We had Casey. The food was very good as well.

Outdoor seating area for lunch was nice and warm even when it was a little cool outside. Food was good and free cream of crab soup with check in was awesome! Will definitely return!

The food is great. We loved it. But the experience… awful.
The waitress was so nice, but she was the only one working a patio which seats about 50 – 70 people. It was a Saturday and a busy time. Our food took forever. It took about 15 minutes to get our first drink. It took my friend over 45 minutes to get a side of fries. They did give her the fries for free, but it was still ridiculous.
It’s disappointing because the food was great, but the service just took absurdly long.

The food and service are first rate. Our group of 4 had a wide range of menu items and each had the same comment… the food here is delicious. We thoroughly enjoy the appetizers, entrees, and service.

We stopped in based on other positive Unilocal reviews and this place was a fun find at Folly. My husband had the fish tacos and said that they were delicious. I had the Cobb Salad, which had crab and shrimp. It was quite good. We had also ordered the fried oysters and found them to be too chewy. Our service was good and we had a very nice meal. The ambiance is beachy and they allow dogs on the patio, serving up a bowl of water for your pup.

We were blown away by the HH specials Monday-Friday 12 – 7 2.50 well, house wine and select beers! I got the mahi taco which is technically a small plate, it was rich and plenty for me! My husband got the shrimp and flounder plate with corn and collared greens, he enjoyed his dinner as well. Great place for drinks and good food !

Fantastic place all around! The food, the music, the atmosphere everything was perfect! Our waitress Carla more than accommodated us and was one of the best waitresses we ever had! Will definitely go back again and recommend it to everyone! They had a way with seafood that even some of the best top quality restaurants in sc couldn’t even top! The chef even came out and checked on us not once but twice! They even had live music from a local kid and his girlfriend! Absolutely loved it!

We have given this restaurant several tries and it just doesn’t work. A flounder sandwich was what we really wanted! When asked if they’d do that the answer was no! Even though they have fried flounder and bread they wouldn’t sell a sandwich!
Instead we ordered a fish taco. It wasn’t a taco at all !
Instead it was grilled fish in pita bread with cole slaw! It was served at room temperature.
When making the complaint to the waitress. She offered no solution and still kept it on the bill!
Unless they improve their service and menu soon
It will be our last visit

It was a busy Sunday at folly beach. We decided to try this restaurant. We had a great server Nicole and she made great suggestions. We had she crab soup and seared ahi tuna over fingerling potatoes and peas. Delicious

Out server was really nice and attentive. Calamari was good, but tasted a bit reheated per my husband. Flounder and bbq chicken with guduo mac n cheese was good. She crab soup was free with check in and it was good. Dessert came from a bday party in the table behind us celebrating a gentleman turning 90. That was pretty awesome! They were singing and having a great time. :-) I like this place and plan to visit again when I’m back in the area.

Mac and Cheese burger w bbq and bacon top notch! Grilled romaine salad w strawberries and pecans/added grilled chicken was superb!
Nicole added fantastic service.
Washed down w a Palmetto Pale Ale and my wife chose the Shock Top.
Perfect lunch at Folly Beach.

There were 5 people in my party. We were seated quickly and our waitress took our orders in a timely manner. We got our drinks right away and our food came in about 15 minutes. All of our orders were correct and our food was hot. I got the steak sandwich. It was huge and delicious. Our service was friendly and prompt and we had no complaints!

We came here for lunch after a cool dolphin tour with Charleston Adventure Tours. We picked it because there was available parking, which is apparently something unique in Folley ;)
The service was good & the food was decent. My son & I both had cheese burgers. I asked for mine medium, but it was well done. It still tasted good though.
It just doesn’t have a very extensive lunch menu. I was hungry, so a burger hit the spot. Normally I like to have something light for lunch. This would not have worked for that.
My only complaint was that it was really cold outside, but they had the doors open. We were freezing. They wouldn’t close the door when we asked. That is weird customer service.

Yikes. They put barbecue sauce on their seafood Mac n cheese. It was not a great combo. Even worse it gave my friend and I food poisoning.
The monkey something drink with banana rum was really good but cost way too much for me not to feel it after two drinks and I asked for an extra shot of rum in the second one. I think I just drank an expense waste of daily calories.
Obviously an expensive tourist trap. Over $ 70 for a salad, appetizer, and one entrée. Not again.
There calamari was excellent though. Came with fried bell peppers.

They don’t pay attention. I ordered a margarita with salt, no salt! How can you forget that. Told waitress, no one offered us anything, not even a ‘sorry’.
This was lunch time, food was ok and plentiful. Service was ok. Tables and the entire Restaurant, needs a refresh. I know it has been through a few owners, but still needs work. Better than most but need a little love to bet best. Oh, I had ordered the fried calamari, which was good. Someone came over and asked if I wanted another order free. They had made too much! I thanked them and said no because I was full. Nice touch, but why not give it to the help?

TERRIBLE!
We were there with a relatively large party (16) — waited 90 minutes for our food — and it was COLD! They forgot one of our appetizers and the shrimp in my daughter’s dish wasn’t cleaned (deveined)
They said they were short staffed, but that is no excuse to this type of service.

I’ve been here twice now since it changed management and the theme a bit and had great experiences both times. One of the cleanest and more polished places to eat on Folly, good for big groups too. I’ve had the She Crab Soup which was great and of course I have try Biscuits N Gravy when on the menu and theirs is awesome, more like a Tasso Ham gravy and nice portion for the price.
I will defiantly be back for dinner.
Also this place donates space for the local Farmers Market so that’s pretty cool!!!

Food is excellent! Service is great, just remember this is a laid back beach atmosphere! I love this place!
$ 2.50 mimosas! Who could complain about that?

I have eaten there twice now. The first time (July 25) the food was wonderful. Amazing shrimp n grits were melt in your mouth. The best I’ve had. My boyfriend enjoyed the crab cake sandwich. We also had fried green tomato’s… Delicious. Yum.
BUT the drink I ordered was suppose to have absolut vodka, and it tasted awful. I could not even pretend to drink it. I did not mention it, just did not drink it.
We returned August 25. The meal was very good, again. Fried green tomato’s again and The shrimp n grits. The shrimp n grits were not as good as the first time, but still very good. I did not risk ordering another drink. My boyfriend ordered the special, wolffish. It was really good, but he really kept saying how amazing the greens were.
I love the outdoors seating. It wonderful. Made for two very nice dates. We will be back Probably Sept 25 :-)
Aye here again. Actually we have been here several times now and the food is always great!
