We recently moved to folsom from OC as my husband’s work relocated, and we always having trouble find a good barber for my husband. This place is hard to find if you search for «hair cut» on GOOGL/​AAPL map, but our friends recommended this place and we tried it out this Saturday —- very spacious place, very friendly people, very nice hair cut, very affordable pricing and what’s most important, I did not remember seeing my husband happier about his hair cut before — the barber worked with him for about ~5min discussing about his head shape, hair thickness etc and they never show any sign of rusing or impatient as my husband’s hair cut took about 1.5 times as of the other customers — and a good tip they deserve I believe.

My husband goes here so we decided to take our 2 y/​o. He didn’t cry at all like he had at another shop we had been going to. The other shop gave him an awful cut and we had to get it fixed. Julie took her time and interacted with him and he was smiling the whole time. The best cut he has had so far! Little one keeps asking for when he can get his haircut again. Will be back soon!

Been going here regularly for the past year or so had nothing but a great experience. However, the last time I went in I was sat at a women’s chair who I never seen before there. Let’s just say she jacked up my hair so bad i will never go there again, let alone recommend people like I use to but rather tell them to stay far away.

My son got a haircut here by Julie. It went great! My son is 1 yr old. He’s had 3 haircuts before coming here. The 1st one went well b/​c it was through a friend. However, she works far so I had to find a place closer to home. The next 2 times we tried a different place. It was a nightmare. He kept crying throughout the whole thing. When we’d get home, I noticed some spots were uneven which was even more frustrating since he had a difficult time already. So this time I decided to try somewhere new. We had a really good experience at Ideal Cuts! Julie worked well with my son. She knew when to stop cutting and would play peek-​a-​boo with him or make funny noises when he started to show signs of fussiness. I was so relieved that he didn’t cry at all. I also appreciated how she took her time to make sure the cut was good. We’ll definitely come here for his next cut!

One of the best places in Folsom for a great haircut for the entire family.
The employees are all very friendly and pleasant. They take their time to make sure your haircut is perfect every time. Prices range from $ 10 for kids $ 12 for men and $ 14 on up depending on the style and services for women’s styling etc.
Found this place a few years ago when I needed to fix a fade-​gone-​wrong that Great Clips botched. Have been coming here ever since!
They have a frequent haircut loyalty card too for a free haircut on your 12th visit. Our family shares a single card!

My son got his hair cut by Julie and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. She did a great job. She was super friendly. I’m definitely taking my son back to her for his hair cuts. I payed $ 10, very reasonable.

I’ve been going there for my haircut for about a year now, I am very happy with it every time. I have thick hair and a lot of it, it’s really hard to find a stylist who knows how to cut thick hair! The hair stylist I go to is Ping and she does really good job on layering out my hair so it does feel so heavy.
My husband went there for haircut also, the other stylist did a good job on him too!
This salon is clean and has good lighting inside, they keep things organized and minimal, it’s not fancy like others, but they really provide quality work. Their prices are cheap compared to other salons which is a plus!
