Love this park! I grew up having many soccer games on the soccer fields of this park, then also refereed some games. The park is always clean and the grass always cut perfectly, with perfect soccer fields. Recently we were there to use the baseball/softball fields and it was great. The bleachers were clean, the fields were all clean and made perfectly. I ended up taking my friend’s daughter to the playground and the playground was also clean and she had a great time. The snack bar was also open that day, so many people from our group stopped by and grabbed a drink or snack. It’s a huge, beautiful park.

Here for the weekend for a soccer tournament… nice fields but parking can be a pretty big challenge. Liked the fact that there are plenty of trees to get out of the sun and chill out between games.

This is the best park for playing sports on this side of town. There are four full public tennis courts, as well as multiple baseball fields, two small playgrounds, and tons of open grass area. The parking lot is big, and shaded, but it does still get overly packed sometimes. The aquatic center gets extremely packed during the summer, and is mega-chlorinated. I’ve never thought it was worth the price, but apparently a lot of people disagree with me. The playgrounds are not great. I wouldn’t come out of my way to come here, but have stopped by a few times because we were in the area. The people who come to this park seem to be friendlier than the people at other parks on this side of town. I’ve ended up having half-hour conversations with people on days when I really didn’t want to talk to anyone. Don’t you know that that’s why I bring my daughter to the park? Just kidding. Maybe. Anyways, this place is super clean, and there aren’t many shady characters hanging around, other than after the Mather bus drops off, of course.

This park has such nice fields! This was my fiancés first season playing here and it is far superior to others that he has played at. They have a fully operative snack bar and multiple fields playing at once. It is always kept clean, the grass is always freshly cut and the premise always feels safe.

I guess parks don’t get reviewed?!? Well let me tell you… I’ve been here twice in about a year, so I’m guess many others might be interested in knowing about this sports complex, called park! Here’s what it offers: 1 Aquatic Center 1 Baseball Field 1 Basketball Court 2BBQ Grills 5 Benches 6 Picnic Pavilions 20 Picnic Tables 2 Play Structures 1 Restroom 3 Softball Fields 3 Soccer Fields 3 Tennis Courts 1 Volleyball Court **This list was taken from the Folsom, CA Parks website! My only experience here has been the Softball complex! With that said, now I feel that I’ve provided ample details for anyone who is new to this park. If you’re like me, you try to stay FAR, FAR away from the city of Folsom! They keep their softball fields well maintained. During a 2-day tourney, they re-raked the field and re-did the lines after the first round of games. Hats off, I like your style. I thought it showed they truly care about their fields and for the people who pay money to play on them. Also, hopefully no one gets mad at this… but — they’ DON’T care if you drink BEER in the complex. Softball and beer, aren’t they synonymous? They also have a snack-bar here. They get bonus points for selling all three versions of Red Bull — OG, sugar free, and zero! They have the traditional stuff — chips, pretzels and nacho cheese, seeds, etc. Some one mentioned they might sell beer, but I didn’t notice when I bought my over-priced bag of chips. That’s something you’ll have to confirm(sorry)! Parking is easy to find… and there are some huge trees so there’s plenty of shade to hide your car under, for the whole day! Right across the street is a Raley’s and a shopping center, so the location is great for all-day events! You don’t have to go far to get lunch or snacks… Only for the love of the game, will you catch me all the way out here!
