My favorite massage place in town. I’ve had the foot/body massage and full body massage several times.

I go to the Roseville location and I find the full body massage to be excellent. They do a much more thorough massage than Happy Day Spa. I always request Lisa — she is very good and gives you the full hour plus a few minutes. Do wish they had better phone device — usually there is no answer. Bob

Had a 60 minute foot massage by Lisa a few months ago. Very relaxing environment and I was satisfied with the service I received.

After reading these other reviews, I was afraid of what to expect. I was quite surprised! They had an immediate walk-in spot available and I requested a male masseuse to apply lots of pressure on my back. I got a guy named Steven and he was pretty good! It seems that these days discount massages include the dress and clean up time in your hour, but in this case I was actually massaged for a full hour and a few extra minutes. I opted not to have the hot stones or table shower. It seems that they changed the staff around as they seemed a lot more organized and professional now than they did back when the other reviews posted. The price was right($ 45 for an hour) and I feel so relaxed now! I’m a fan!

Well, this place was horrible. I guess I should’ve listened to the other reviews on here before I wasted my money. First of all I scheduled a 90 minute massage and I specifically wanted foot massage to be the focus of my therapy. The girl that came in spoke zero English, I had no idea what she was saying when she was trying to get me to move this way or that way etc. The massage itself was horrible, I don’t think this was a licensed massage therapist. Also, at one point she removed my towel leaving me completely naked on the table, face down. Then she started rubbing very very close to my twig and berries. I honestly got the feeling that if I had wanted a happy ending I could’ve got one. However, being a happily married man, to a woman much prettier than this massage therapist, I brought my legs together and took the high road. Anyway after about 80 minutes she said I was finished and walked out. Oh yeah, she never touched my feet, not even once, even though that was specifically what I asked for when I got there. And yes I did shower before the massage LOL. Then on the way out they tried to overcharge me. What a joke.

Recommended by a friend for deep tissue massage, rooms are very clean, massage was relaxing and really helped with my shoulder and lower back issues. Other reviews are right, there is often a language barrier, but the staff is professional and well trained in massage. Just make sure to establish the strength of the massage before you start and you will enjoy your experience. FYI, this is an Asian /Swedish style massage, expect to wear nothing but a small towel, it can be a bit shocking to those who have been going to western style massage studios. Very enjoyable, highly recommended.

My sister-in-law and I went to Lotus Spa last week for a foot massage… BEST choice ever!!! I had David and he was so nice, sweet, gentle & it was like heaven on earth. We will definitely be going back very soon! Great Spa! :)

This review is ONLY based on my experience purchasing a gift card. ________________ I constantly receive coupons in the mail for Lotus Massage. I decided to purchase a gift card($ 17.99 for an hour foot and body massage). Oh boy, what an ordeal that turned out to be! I had to speak with four different people(language barrier — the first three didn’t understand English). A middle aged woman was finally able to assist, she seemed pleasant enough. I asked for a $ 23 gift card($ 17.99, plus a $ 5 tip) and handed her my debit card. The woman looked at me and asked if I had cash, which I didn’t. If I HAD or WANTED to use cash as payment, I would have. Anyway, she took my debit card and notified me that there’d be a $ 1 service charge. Really? Before entering the building, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover logos are shown on the door. NOWHERE is it posted that a $ 1 fee will be applied to card transactions. Perhaps it sounds petty BUT I cannot stand that crap! I told her to just run the card, thanked her for her assistance, and left. A follow-up will be written once the gift card is used.

Save your money, time, and frustration… DON’T go to this place! The old saying«you get what you pay for», well that pretty much sums this place up. No one spoke English and the little rooms just had this small curtain which did not provide privacy for undressing. It was the WORST massage I have ever had & I’ve had quite a few so I can fairly compare. The final straw for me was when the massage therepist’s cell phone rang(loudly) and she answered it during the massage. I should have just got up, dressed, and walked out right then… I left there wondering if she even had a license or any professional training

I have been searching for this spa/massage place on Unilocal just to warn people about how sketchy and traumatic this place was for me. Since it’s not been added, I had to add it. I visited Lotus spa on 10⁄3. I heard about it from an online ad for a $ 30 massage, and I stupidly decided to go because money was tight. I love massages, and I know how a good massage should feel. The entire experience was awful, and I regret not picking up my things and walking out as soon as my intuition was screaming at me that it was a sketchy awful place. I called and let someone know that I was planning on coming that day. When I arrived, I was greeted by a man and a woman. The place reeked of smoke, and it was not a classy establishment — tacky décor, shower rooms, and not very clean. However, feeling awkward, I decided to sit and see if it would be a «hole in the wall» experience. I could not have been more wrong. Both the man and woman were speaking Mandarin and spoke broken English. I speak some Mandarin(I lived in China and got massages there, so I could understand a lot of their conversations). The man took me into a room with cloth hanging to cover the door opening but which had a slit of light coming in. He told me to undress, and I kept some clothes on. He barged in on me when i was still getting under this super cheap towel which BARELY covered my body and began massaging my neck and back. The massage sucked, and all I could hear was his gum smacking. At one point I became so uncomfortable and creeped out that I asked him in Chinese to get the woman in there. He quickly left. The woman entered after loudly speaking in Chinese how annoyed she was. She began her massage, which was better, but definitely not great. Then, she began lifting the towel off of me, baring my body, and lifting my legs to massage them. She reeked of smoke the whole time, her hands, fingers, and breath. It was only until the end of the massage did I notice a sign that had writing I can’t remember exactly but said something like«This establishment only offers legitimate massages»…um. Preeetty sure I stepped into a happy ending spot and had no idea. I should have followed my instincts, and I regret it. There were skeevy men there too and a place to «shower»… THISWASTHEWORSTEXPERIENCEEVER — degrading, uncomfortable, unprofessional, and sketchy. My skin is crawling just typing about it. Do NOT spend your money here or even dream of going here. I wasn’t a huge Unilocaler in October but I’ll never sacrifice quality for price again. Learned my lesson the hard way ;\
