I have had the best experience with Silverado Cleaners in Folsom. I am pretty picky when it comes to the finished product«the smell», Silverado returns my clothes very fresh and without that horrible smell of most dry cleaners I’ve experienced. The owners are great people and take great care of my families dry cleaning needs. They are fun to talk to and they take pride in being a part of the community.

I had a wool coat that had been draped over a chair and forgotten about for longer than I care to admit. The dogs had brushed by it countless times and I figured it was a lost cause, but I thought I’d see if a good dry-cleaning could save it. I first took it to the cleaner by Safeway who wanted to charge me an additional $ 20 on top of her regularly exorbitant prices, and she(very snottily) told me outright that she didn’t think she even wanted to try it. So, embarrassed, I packed it back in the bag and swore I’d never go back to that cleaner. A couple of weeks later, I was running errands and noticed Silverado cleaners. I had the coat with me and thought I’d give them a shot. I apologized for the state of the coat and asked if maybe they could try to clean it. The nice man chuckled and said they’d take care of it. I went to pick it up and was told that they noticed a few spots that didn’t come out the first time and they would like to put it through for another cleaning. Went back today and I was floored. The coat was as clean as the day I bought it! AND the total charge for cleaning it twice was a whopping $ 3.50. We will be giving all of our cleaning business to Silverado from now on.

This is a great place to bring your clothing to be dry cleaned. I’ve been coming to this store for many years. They have a quick turnaround and I have always had my clothing returned clean and without a dry clean odor. The price. just $ 3.00 for each garment!

I recently had a few items to be cleaned. They gave me exactly one week to pick up my order. The day they marked my receipt for pick I swung by and they said it wasn’t ready until the day after, this time I called instead and again I was given a song and dance it’ll be a few more days(after the weekend for a total of 11 days). They did the same thing to me last year and I just thought was just a fluke. It wouldn’t have been that bad if they would of given a simple apology or courtesy gesture. This place sucks! Terrible service!

This cleaners returned an expensive cashmere sweater to me with a hole in the center of the chest. When we took the sweater to the cleaner and requested that the sweater be replaced, the owner said that the damage was there when we brought the sweater in to be cleaned. When I disagreed, he called me a liar and said that he could tell that I was a difficult person as soon as he started speaking to me. He also told me that I was probably not smart enough to understand his profession. I was not reimbursed and will no longer be using this establishment.

I have been going here to Silverado cleaners for 5+ years. I have had nothing but great service and and timely accurate delivery. Even though i only come in every moth or two, they remember my name.

I recently brought in a dress to be cleaned, and it came back ruined. Dirty water marks all down the front and back, snags in the fabric, and the ruching had fallen out of it. I had only worn this dress once, and had paid $ 150 for it. Unfortunately I didn’t discover the damage until I had brought the item home and had removed it from the plastic to put it away. When I realized, I took the item back and the employee, who I later learned was the owner, told me it wasn’t from their shop but the one next door and refused to talk to me about it. I think I would know where I brought it, plus there tags were still attached! And what gall to try and blame your mistake on a competitor when she must have recognized her own tag. Anyway, I went back again when another employee was working and he apologized profusely and told me they would re-clean it. It took a week longer than they had told me, and when I finally received it, the water marks were still all down the front and back. I asked them what they were going to do to make it right, and was told they would take my name and number and have the owner call me. Weeks have gone by, and still no phone call. The dress is ruined, and they won’t even have the courtesy to call and apologize! It’s a cheap shop, but you get what you pay for. Beware.

(First off, this place deserves –5 stars, but clearly that’s not an option.) To save money for my younger sister’s prom, my sister decided to use one of my old JESSICAMCCLINTOCK gowns to wear this upcoming Saturday. Excited that she was going to wear a dress in her favorite deep purple color, she and her date planned everything out, including color coordination for his suit and their boutonnière/corsage. Dropping off the dress to the cleaners, my mom and my sister specifically tagged ONE spot where there was a small stain. Upon coming back to pick up the dress with prom 5 days away, the dress was returned with HUGE stains that clearly RUINED the gown, and they had the AUDACITY to blame my mom and sister, saying the stains were already there to begin with. They even added tags that they hadn’t put there before. Honestly, would we not have pointed out those stains to begin with when we dropped the dress off??? Anyone in their right mind would want those stains out before prom, which is WHY we take clothes to the CLEANERS. These stains are so big and obvious that there is NOWAY we would have missed them when dropping it off. We even brought it to another cleaners place where the service was excellent, but to no avail. My $ 300 dress can never be worn again. The service at Silverado cleaners is so bad that it really amazes you how rude people can be, especially when it’s a business where customer service should be applied: The guy at this place would not man up to his mistake, and he even yelled at my mom saying that the dress looks like a table cloth, that she needed to leave the place with her money, and that she can go ahead and sue. I’m more upset at the service and the way the man handled the situation than the dress itself being ruined(although, it still does really suck). Now, my sister’s prom is 3 days away and she is scrambling to find another purple dress since her date already has his suit with purple accent. Good job, Silverado, can’t even say sorry. My advice, do NOT contribute to business here. You’ll get your clothes forever ruined, HORRIBLE customer service, and no money back. Spread the word.
