I didn’t expect to find authentic and delicious food in Folsom coming from the Bay Area, but this place is great. Great staff too!

My wife and I tried Andy’s a few months ago based on a review my friend wrote on Facebook, needless to say we’ve been hooked ever since. First time around I ordered the duck and mushroom soup and it was the best duck I’ve had; it had wonderful flavor and just melted in your mouth. We recently became sick and have now gone back twice in 3 days for the rare beef phở because it was the only thing that helped our throats. It is also the best phở we’ve had and we’ve tried 12 different places, which is why we are so very sad they are closing(due to not many people knowing about this hidden gem). So if you want wonderful and quick service and delicious food stop by and order while you can just like we are going to be doing.

I was a frequent customer of this restaurant, but as of today I will never be. The sweet&sour pork that I had today was disgusting. The food was out instantly, but the meat was stiff and smelled really bad. It looks like the meat was fried long time ago. I complained it on the way out, but they did not make any explanation or excuse not alone saying sorry.

Decent as phở goes. I had roast duck egg noodles, my wife got the phở with stewed beef. Great portions. Service is very brisk. Practically asked for our order as we were sitting down. Haha Boba smoothies are good.

Have been here many times with my family and friends and the food has usually been wonderful. But this time I came here with my mother and we ordered a couple dishes to dine in and some phở to go and there was hair in two of the dishes. Absolutely unacceptable. I understand health and safety precautions are not always full proof, but it was in two out of three dishes and had more than one. Disgusting. The service from waiters are always wonderful, so I gave it two stars instead of one.

I’ve been here for lunch a few times and it’s been amazing every time. The first item I tried on the menu was the Phở and it was perfect! My favorite though is the #53 which is your choice of meat on rice noodles. The shrimp on the skewer that comes on the side is fantastic along with the two crispy egg rolls. Quick service and good value. I gave this place 4 stars and it’s the best Vietnamese restaurant that I’ve been to.

I’ve had the phở, war won ton soup, and beef rice plate. All were delicious! I didn’t expect to find great Vietnamese food in Folsom. Great job, Folsom! The broth for the phở is so flavorful, it’s perfect. I squeeze the heck out of my lime wedge to give it that extra citrus-y kick, in addition to the other usual accessories, and it is just to die for. I have no shame in slurping the soup all the way to the bottom. War won ton soup is ok. I add the hoisin sauce. I get it without noodles and with just vegetables. It’s perfect for me when I am not super hungry but just wanted to get out of the office. $ 7 for a light meal — can’t go wrong. For the rice plate, I had the grilled beef. In addition to the rice, it also comes with a little salad, if I remember correctly, and a small bowl of canh from the phở. The beef was amazing — totally hit the spot! Tender, flavorful, sweet. Sometimes I just have that urge for rice, and this didn’t disappoint. Other points: Service is fast! From walk-in to order, serving to paying. It does get crowded sometimes during the lunch hour, depending on the day; other times, it is empty. I like going when it’s empty. Servers are great, too. The food is just so good that one time I ordered #59(bun thit nuong) and ended up being brought out #9(phở with two different kinds of beef). I usually would sulk because when I get my stomach set on something, it has to happen! And they offered to take it away, but #59 actually ended up being awesome and well worth the mix-up. In a word, this place is awesome! A great find for me for the Folsom area!

I wish I took pictures, but I’ll killed my food and forgot. And at the end, the waiting put my soup bowl into a Togo container, versus watching me struggle with it. Phở noodle soup. Steak, with shrimp added, and it wasn’t too pricey. Service was great.

Ate here a few times. Food is decent if anyone is craving for Vietnamese food area Folsom area. Can’t complain for sure. But if I really want good Vietnamese food then gotta to go San Jose. I had phở and bun Bo hue. The broth can be a little hotter(temperature). I like my broth hot. My sprout and basil remain raw when I finished my soup. That is a sign the broth is not hot enough. I will need to come back and try the family style food one day. Oh one thing about this place, they charge .25 per dish to go. That is a booo on my list.

Ate here with a buddy last Sunday for lunch. Place was packed, but the nice employee found us a nice table by the window. Service with a smile. The guy next to me was tucking into a big bowl that looked good, so I asked him what it was. «Char-broiled pork over vermicelli. It’s really good!» he said. Good enough for me, that’s what I ordered. My friend got sautéed beef with vegetables and rice, and we split an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls were good, loaded with goodies but no mint or cilantro(two things I don’t care for in spring rolls, so I was happy.) Our main dishes arrived quickly, despite the place being filled nearly to capacity with a variety of clientele, including lots of Asian families. Lots of Asian customers at an Asian restaurant is always a good sign. My char-broiled pork over vermicelli was great, with a generous portion of flavorful pork and a side of sweet chili/vinegar dipping sauce, which I poured over my dish. Faux pas? Maybe, but it was good! There was a slightly excessive mass of connective tissue/fat on some of the pork pieces, but I think that’s more of a cultural thing than anything else. Service was great from all 4 employees that helped serve us. Great job! I am looking forward to visiting Phở ABC again soon…

Had an hour lunch break yesterday and I decided to come try this place, it was a very pleasant visit. I order the chicken noodle phở and taro smoothie. The food was delicious, the prices were good, and the customer service was amazing. I plan on coming back.

Descent phở place great for lunch and dinner. The soup is clear and flavorful. Just alittle too salty for me. Otherwise it would be perfect. The serving is very large. Small bowl of phở is enough for one person unless you’re super hungry. The spring rolls are large and stuffed with fillings. Highly recommend. The staffs are very nice and the restaurant is pretty clean.

Had lunch here and it was delicious. Shrimp and beef vermicelli. The portion is pretty big. It was crowded when I went in but service was very quick. Prices are great considering portions. There is plenty to choose from on their menu. As I saw food coming out it all looked great. The place looked pretty clean and well kept.

Mom and I stopped in here one evening to grab a hot bowl of phở before doing some shopping. This place was CRAZY busy and it was like a random Thursday night. The food was good, nothing amazing– but the prices were reasonable. We both got the rare steak phở and we both had food leftover that we couldn’t finish because the portions were so huge(I got the smallest possible size). We DID also order some sauteed veggies/tofu to go with our phở though. I think the gal forgot to put the order in because ½ way through eating our phở when I asked her about it she blushed and rushed back into the kitchen. It was worth the wait though, because it was very tasty! I’d come back here again! P. S. Iced tea is only $ 1, that is a steal!

Review based off take out. The chow mein was nothing special. Wouldn’t order that again. However the vegetable phở is super delicious and good price! Hit the spot for my cold! I want to come back for spring rolls and another soup… I saw someone when I came to p/u my order with spring rolls and they looked really yummy.

As I drove all the way to the city of Folsom, I was heading down to this Vietnamese restaurant right here in Folsom called, «Phở ABC.» I’m quite a surprised that this is the only one Vietnamese restaurant available. Since it got earned the«Best Vietnamese Restaurant’ for KCRA’s A-List for the very first time this year, I decided to try it out, and boy I’m very impressed! The atmosphere and the concept is quite outstanding! They have more room and tables to serve many people to dine in their favorite Vietnamese cuisines. The service is very top notch because of the speedy service and offering recommendations and suggestions too! No issues or problems at all! For the food ordering process, I’ve ordered the most favorite Vietnamese food, Phở Tai. So far, it tasted very good! The beef broth of the Phở Tai is very hot, so the raw rare steak can cooked faster in no time! The rest of the ingredients from bean sprouts to the vermicelli noodles are on point! Not a bad Phở after all! I’ve also ordered the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce too. The spring rolls tasted fantastical as well as the peanut sauce which it’s very rich and flavorful. There’s a good, large amount of parking available, so you don’t have to worry it at all. In the end, Phở ABC is a great Vietnamese restaurant right here in the city of Folsom. A worthy visit, and I highly recommend!

I had to go to Sacramento for work and my hotel was in Folsom(30 miles away from my meeting site). It’s a traveling system my work uses to make reservations. Whenever I travel, I like to try new Vietnamese restaurants. So I did a Unilocal search and found this place. It was a Sunday night and it wasn’t too crowded so lots of empty tables. Most of their tables were tables for 4 and some had 1 person seating and some had all 4 seats occupied. When I walked in, they put me at a table where I faced the their office table and a wall(see picture). So my view pretty much sucked. I should have asked to sit somewhere else but since I just flew in, I was too tired to say anything. I ordered the following: Shredded Pork with pork skin Spring Rolls($ 4.75) — They were huge, however mainly filled with rice noodles and wrapped very loosely. However the pork is shredded Cha Lua(Pork ham) not actual shredded pork meat. It was still tasty. Bun Bo Hue($ 8.50): Very good! Lots of noodles, meat and veggies. The broth was outstanding. It came with a small side of shrimp paste if you want that extra yummy taste. Three flavor dessert with coconut milk — It was a nice treat to end my meal. I would come back here for the Bun Bo Hue and dessert but I will make sure to tell them to seat me by the window.
