I’ve been to this location a few times and the service is always friendly and VERY fast, which is nice. I ordered the BBQ, Bacon and Cheddar burger with smash fries and it was overall pretty good. The burger was served hot, nice and juicy and cooked well done which is how I enjoy it. The only thing I may say for next time is lighter on the onion strings on my burger because they made it a bit salty for my liking. Other than that, another great experience!

Save your money and calories. Ordered 2 NorCal burgers — hardly any condiments on them, meat was overcooked and dry, bun was way too thick and not fresh. In and Out burgers are better and cheaper. Ordered sweet potato mash fries — they gave me regular fries so had to replace them — can barely taste the garlic or rosemary but fries were good although no comparison with Jack Urban Eats sweet potato fries. Ordered the pickle fries — don’t order them — soggy, sliced pickles. Will not go here again, unfortunately.

Both my girlfriend and I love this place. They have great burgers and sides. I absolutely love the shoe string fries and those are my favorite item on the menu. The smash fries are the bomb. They are also quick and from what I’ve heard and even requested myself they’ll make your order however you want it.
But honestly compared to a lot of places the best thing about this location is the crew that work there. The assistant manager is always really cool and they have a great sense of humor. They’re nice people and part of why we like Smash Burger.
I also saw a comment to get rid of the shoe string fries… please don’t do that. So few places carry them and we love them.

My «go to» spot for a burger! Best burgers in Folsom (and there is A LOT of options) and be sure to try the fried pickles!

I really liked this place. I ordered the Nor-​Cal (lettuce wrapped) and my wife got the Swiss-​Mushroom burger (may have gotten the name wrong, but that’s what it was).
They came out piping hot and juicy. Also, they cooked mine medium, just like I asked. The cheese on my mine was brie, really impressive. Everything seemed gourmet, right down to the bread. We made tons of substitutions and changes and they were so friendly about it. They also gave us a $ 2 discount I think for being first time customers. The beef was so flavorful and juicy. The service was really good and they regularly checked on us.
The ONLY reason I’m giving 4 stars is the meat was very high in fat… there was a lot of oil left on my plate that I could see, only because there wasn’t a bun to soak it up. But hey, if you’re ok with that (and I am — I will definitely keep coming back), then it’s not an issue.
I won’t eat at The Habit anymore after trying this place. Even though this was fried instead of grilled, it tasted a lot better to me, and the ingredients all seemed much higher quality and more gourmet.
SmashBurger is my new favorite burger joint in Folsom.

I really like this place. I love that you can choose what size of burger patty you want! The Mushroom burger is SO good and the fires are awesome too! It is like an In-​and-​Out quality but with a sit down feel. My brother in law introduced me to this place and I have been in love ever since! I HIGHLY recommend this awesome place!

We love smash burger! The burger is always great, and the customer service is great. Smash fries are delicious.

I come here a lot throughout the week to not only grab my lunch but that of my fellow employees. the cashier is always pleasant no matter who’s working and they are fast in getting out your order so you can continue on with your day. I’m slowly making my way through the menu trying different things and as of right now there’s nothing I don’t love everything is fresh hot and delicious thank you guys!

Love, love, love this place! The burgers are always cooked to order, the garlic fries are to die for, and the milk shakes are just super. We always take our dogs and sit on the patio. The wait staff is always so nice to us and bring the dogs fresh water. Prompt service! Just a terrific place to stop for good food!

Came in on a normal Sunday, and couldn’t have been more blown away by the quality of the food, and the amazing customer service. Brooklyn greeted me as soon as I came in, and made sure to check on me while I was eating my food. The entire staff was so friendly, and that always makes any atmosphere feel more comfortable.
My burger was delicious, and came out extremely quick! Thanks guys, I will be back again soon!

Food is delicious. Today I tried the avocado black bean burger. I’m normally a meat eater but I wanted to give this a try and I like it! I also ordered the smash fries and omg they are delicious! Service here was great.

We decided to give this place a try. Have never eaten here before. It got decent reviews, but many slammed them as greasy.
If you are a green weeny tofu eating type person, don’t come here. If you want a great pure, tasty and yes juicy, burger then you have got to try it. We loved it.
I had the Colorado. I have an allergy to tomatoes. They plugged that in and then our cashier physically went to the cooks and told them to be sure no tomato touches my food. So much for inattentive. She was very helpful as it was our first time there.
The restaurant was clean. The music, although I would have kept it a notch lower, was far quieter than do many places you go. We were able to actually hold a conversation while enjoying our lunch.
Service was lightning fast, at lunchtime no less.
She stored back by to see if we needed anything else and took a moment to chat.
We have a new favorite when dining in this area! Good job guys! If you check, you will see that I am usually pretty hard on my reviews.

All good but please, please, please get rid of the «shoe string fries» and give us real french fries!!!
Also, how about some real onion «rings»!!!
Other than those two things, you are yummy as usual!!!

Good food — so/​so service
I have been to this location a few times and always enjoy the food. I don’t always get exactly what I order. Usually just some little thing they don’t put on. Service is friendly but not really attentive to the order. I like the fresh cooked idea but I feel the food is a bit too greasy here.
They have a very nice selection of items and sides.
All in all a good lunch spot

First time trying smash burger with my boyfriend and it was a wonderful experience! Nick helped with our order and was super cool to tell us about some coupons We could use and hooked us up. Definitely coming back. Good job Nick for the excellent service!
I like the fact I was able to create my own burger with the toppings and sauces that I want. The burger was the perfect size and it tasted delicious!
Also tried the smash fries and it was pretty good! Not too garlicky, it was just right.
And lastly, the shakes are bomb! I had the mint Oreo since it said it was limited time only! It was not too minty but you were still able to taste a hint of mint (:

Love this place I always order the Norcal and it’s always delicious. A must is the sweet potato fries done smash style they’re delicious as well. Sign up there mailing list and you’ll get coupons in the email inbox for two dollars off this or five dollars off and free shake once in a while. seems like it’s a little bit expensive but when you compare it to a value menu item at McDonald’s it’s not anywhere more expensive and it’s much better for you. This place makes burgers that taste how cow’s intended them to originally. There’s something different about the meat they use.

Great tasting burgers; they have a good flavor. The patties are free formed and smashed on the flat grill. Prices are affordable.
I also enjoy the Smash fries; they are the skinny frites type and are seasoned with olive oil, rosemary, and garlic. But I have to admit that this location is not very consistent with the frying quality of the fries. However I’ve experienced more hits vs misses.

This is my first time at smashburger. Open floor plan & things look pretty clean. Ordered 3 kids smashes $ 4.99 each comes with a drink. I ordered a truffle mushroom & swiss burger with a side order of the deep fried pickles. It smells good… stay tuned!!!
Ok so after unpacking everything & looking at the receipt, I’m very disappointed! The burger in itself is good but they didn’t tell me that I had to pay extra for the kids chocolate milk (.50 each more) and the very small cup of deep fried pickles ($ 2.29) I told the fellow that it was my first time there so he should’ve told me those cost extra. I hate that! So after evaluating everything, I’d say the frustration of not disclosing the extras outweighs the taste of the burger. My original score was 4* but now I’m going down to a 2*. Tell me the truth!
