This place has seriously gone down hill. Terrible customer service. Three people not working and socializing. Took forever to get food. Rude. Unprofessional. Out of chicken and turkey during dinner on a Friday? Person working register filling up his drink bottle from soda machine, touching his sweaty forehead and money with bare hands, then touching my food. I will not be coming back to this location.

I attempted to eat at this location and the air conditioner wasn’t even on. They claimed it was broken, but you’d think with it being a BBQ joint, A/C would be an ultimate priority. I ended up driving to the one in Highland. Much better.

$ 18.36 for a 3 meat item meal. Brisket was dry and I asked for two of the sides brisket and got two thin slices. Was out of Coke and Dr Pepper saying they were waiting for delivery. Worst experience ever from this place. Would sure like a refund for this meal. Hope the owners read these comments. I took a photo of both slices. Last time here I got 5 slices when I doubled the meat.

I give this place –3 stars After going to a different location in redlands and loved the service and food there I had been to this location once before and the customer no service was very bad. But I had forgatten that and went again to be surprised with the same awfully service as before the cashier made noises as I was trying to decide on what to it to the point that she pistol me and my son off and we left. I do not recomend this place!!!

This place provides some of the worst customer service. Sweet Tea ran out; refused to make more for us. It’s not that hard. They really dont gove AF. Bunch of @$$-holes. We pay a pretty good amount for just a BBQ plate. I dont see why you cant hire employees that have some sense of respect towards the customer’s. Is Dickie’s management incapable of finding the right candidates. Please refine your establishment.

DONOTORDERFROMHERE, order from some were else. This is the second time my coworkers and I call place a large order early right when they open. Right when we arrived the lady who took our order, charged us not letting us know that our order was not ready or even available to make after we had already ordered an hour prior. Don’t get me wrong the food is ok but they need better service here. At the end my coworkers did not get there lunch and ended up eating a cup of noodles.

Pork ribs were tender, but lacked flavor. Had to smother them with lots of sauce. The baked beans were really good. The potato salad was one of the better kinds I’ve had. The chicken was tender and needed lots of sauce as well. Overall enjoyable, but needed some help with flavor. I think the 1 star ratings were way out of line.

Horrible servers had to wait 5 minutes to place our order! Then when we got to order girl was rude, she had attitude. Once we finally got are food they got it wrong. She tried to say we didn’t say no sauce, but I know we told her. After they corrected are food it was good. They have great bbq I will return but not HERE! Unless they get a new crew. Wish they had name tags do I can put her on blast.

Worse service ever. XL Family pack is misrepresented on their menu. It does not feed 6 – 8 people

I usually enjoy Dickey’s, but this location is the chris & pitts. Dried-out and just straight up burned brisket, dreary employees annoyed by your presence, small uninviting dining room. I’ll stick to the Hemet Dickey’s.

I order my food online for pick up– when I arrive at the establishment, I was told there wasn’t ham available. it’s fine, I ended up with the pulled pork options. what was ridiculous was when I order my food for pick up at 12:03& didn’t receive it until almost 45mins later. I literally sat at the table watching every other customer come after me, pick up there food before me. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars is because they have free ice cream & the employee(cook) actually tried to help me. The food was alright for the price, only the spicy cheese sausage caught my attention.

The food itself was good, but okay food doesn’t keep customers coming back(I had a half brisket half pulled pork sandwich). A few things bothered me here on my visit today: 1) the seating area was so hot that it was uncomfortable to eat my food there. It had to have been at least 85 degrees in there, for reference it’s currently 90 outside and when I got home my garage was cooler — I don’t like it cold, either, but he heat was excessive. Even a family that came in was complaining about the heat and decided to leave instead of sit here to eat 2) I asked for a to go box as I wasn’t going to finish my sandwich, so the nice lady at the register game me one. The problem was that it was dirty on the inside of the box, so I asked for a new one. She explained it was from her glove(why would I want your glove, which is dirty, inside a box that will house my food?) so she gave me a new one. But, then I watched the staff put the box back on the pile of boxes, instead of throwing it out, to give to the next customer 3) the warmer where the BBQ sauce is stored was on, but my BBQ sauce was cold 4) ice cream is so soft the cone just falls over. I’m sure this is a trick done on purpose to prevent people from taking too much. But, it makes for a bad cone, which makes the place just seem bad 5) flies in the resturant (From point one and three it’s clear to me they are trying to save on electricity, but it’d really ruining their business) It’s a shame is place isn’t better. I see opportunities for management to straighten their act and make this place good again. Right now I wouldn’t recommend.

When I get a hankering for brisket, I find a close Dickeys. The jalapeño beens and potato salad are my go to combo. And then of course is the free self serve ice cream. Why does ice cream taste better when you serve your self. I try to show restraint in my ice cream serving knowing I can go back for seconds. I never do but I can if I wanted to.

They were out of ham, sweet tea and the ice cream machine wasn’t working :( We showed up at 8 pm on a Saturday night. Maybe it was too close to closing time at 9 pm. The food was ok. The girl helping us went out of her way to see if we needed anything and she gave us two cookies for the kids.

We ordered a big bbq sandwich with coleslaw, a westerner sandwich with baked beans and two drinks for $ 22.75. For me, that’s on the expensive side, considering that the sandwiches are not that big and that the cups for the side dishes were only filled half. The coleslaw had no flavor at all, the beans were okay. The meat was tender. What really bothered me on the way out, was the ice cream machine. It was not clean, ice cream running down on it and dried and underneath was a bowl with even more ice cream and/or drippings which was half full. That is unacceptable and needs to be cleaned ALLTHETIME as bacteria can survive on those metal surfaces. Also, it would be nice if the young man in the kitchen would pull up his pants. Nobody needs to see your underwear. Inappropriate for a food establishment.

I went to dickies in victorville the customer service was awful. Lines out the door. Very slow getting food. Seeing the line out the door I thought food would be good. The ribs were dry and macaroni and cheese was worst than Kraft! I got sick to my stomach before I even left the restaurant from the food! I do not recommend and will never go back! No more dickies!

Excellent barbecue good choice of meats and fairly priced for a quality product I got the three meat dinner; pulled pork, brisket and smoked turkey. everything was moist and delicious with a smoky flavor Also got macaroni and cheese and barbecue beans, both exceptional! BBQ beans had a slow cooked tangy flavor and the macaroni and cheese was creamy and rich This was my first time coming here very impressed ! I love the barbecue sauce selection Will definitely be coming back

YOUCALLTHISBBQ?! BACKGROUND: Dickey’s Barbecue Pit prides itself on authenticity, innovation and barbecue sauce, one store at a time. With roots in Dallas, Travis Dickey set out to perfect Texas-style barbecue. In 1941, Travis Dickey opened the first Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Dallas, Texas. Space on the restaurant’s sign was rented out to help pay the start-up costs for the restaurant and the menu was limited to beef brisket, pit hams, barbecue beans, potato chips, beer, bottled milk and sodas. STATS: Located in a strip mall Ample free on-site parking Open Daily 11:00AM — 9:00PM The interior is clean EXPERIENCE: Fellow hiker and I were starved from sitting traffic on our way from LA to Palm Springs stopped here for a quick bite on the go. Quaint interior decorated with Route 41 signs and pics from that era. Natural sunlight brightens up the joint and tables and booths fill the somewhat small eatery. The menu is posted on a wall adjacent to the couner. It’s a menu, you really have to look up to, literally. Teenage girl manned the register where I ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich with coleslaw and a friend ordered a Beef Brisket sandwich, with waffle iron fries. The meat was served between two very dry, just out of the bag buns, the slaw was basically tasteless, no matter how much pepper I put on it. The fries were ok, not much flavor there either. As a BBQ lover, I like my BBQ messy, and this was so not that, in fact, I was so disgusted, I couldn’t even finish it. It was like eating a Cliff Bar with a minuscule number of slightly BBQ flavored catsup. On a positive note, as we waited for our food, we were able to take advantage of the free drink re-fills and use the use the restrooms, which were fairly clean. Yep, another one and done for the lists. #TASTELESSBBQ #BLANDFLAVORED #ONEANDDONE
