It Can Be Done! Si Se Puede!

I arrived at 9 am to have my vehicle’s smog check done. I was told the wait would be two hours so I decided to stay in the area with my two infant daughters. After two hours I was told I needed an oil change and a new air filter, which I agreed to and was told to come back in another two hours. After another two hours became three hours I was told that I now had to drive my car for 30 miles and then return for the smog check. I did this, as I did not want to have had wasted half of my day. I returned to have the smog done and THAT took another hour and a half to complete.
When it came time to pay, the female mechanic charged me more than the price that I had originally been quoted. When I disputed this price, she reduced the final charge – but not by the amount that I was told earlier that morning. While waiting for my vehicle there were SEVERAL other customers that were upset and had been waiting as long as I had.
I finally paid and got out, as it was now 5pm and I had spent my entire day waiting for a simple smog check.
Two days later I began experiencing problems with my vehicle. The gas gauge no longer registered the correct reading. What looked to be a full tank was less than half a tank and I had no way of knowing how much gas I truly had. Then, about a week later my shut off completely while driving on the freeway, again with my two infant daughters in the car with me.
Fortunately I was able to depend upon a family member who was able to repair the damage this shop had done to my only means of transportation.
I will never use this place again, and I strongly discourage anybody else from going here.
