This gym will eventually have it all for strength athletes in South Orange County. Stopped in yesterday to check it out and their official Grand Opening is not until May 2015, but they have top notch squat racks, deadlift platform and benches. Different bars (safety squat, cambered squat and trap squat). They plan to keep the membership low to avoid overcrowding (which is great).
Wish they were in Irvine, but a 15 min drive just may be worth it; after I speak to their PL team to see if they have room for a fossil like me.

Wait, I can train and buy all my sups in the exact same place? I guess Heaven is real after all! Love the new Metroflex NZ! It has great specialized equipment and sets the best environment for intense training. I mean, how can you not train hard when dumbbell spear throwing Spartans are watching down upon you while you train?! They have awesome trainers and great staff over on the nutrition zone side who know what they are talking about and are willing to help you find the right sups to fit your training needs! Definitely worth it to stop by and check it out!

Best gym in the OC! There is also an Outlet store in the same building which has the lowest prices on supplements and Quest boxes!

If train like a boss this gym is for you. This is the most inspiring place I’ve ever worked out at. Definitely makes you lift harder and longer. Plus you can learn a lot just by watching people lift.
It might look intimidating but everyone is nice and the guys that work at the outlet Nutrition Zone (inside the gym) really know their stuff.
If you’re in the area it’s a must see!

First time i walk through the door i was greeted with really fit people. Right next to the gym is a supplement store, so it is a one stop shop for sure. The guys that workout there and work there are very knowledgeable and always answered my questions if i had any. My favorite thing about this gym is that everyone is treats you like family, if you trying to loose 10 or 100lbs, they got your back and will even jump in a workout with you. For me that is a big thing because the experience that you get is priceless. The only downside is that i cant live in the gym! Lol. love this gym

Best gym around and a great alternative to the typical 24 hour and LA Fitness experience. They’ve got a few pieces of equipment I’ve never seen at any other gym. As an elite athletes, I’ve found my new home.

Literally can’t ask for more from one location. The gym itself is intimate while still feeling so spacious. The equipment is top notch and the LegPress? Best in the country. What tops it all is you have NutritionZone attached with outlet pricing. Best of both worlds in one location. If you lift… You come here.

This gym is awesome! If you are looking for a hardcore, motivational and tight knit family like gym then Metroflex NZ of Orange County is for you. Every bodybuilders and powerlifters dream. Even though it’s a hardcore gym this place is clean! Weights are organized and where they are supposed to be. Make sure to check this gym out and while your at it shop for all your supplement needs. All supplements at wholesale pricing which means they beat the Internet. Bobby and staff are super knowledgeable and friendly.

I visited this gym on March 7^th, 2015.
We were greeted by Adam who was super friendly and accommodating. When you first walk through the entrance of the facility, you will notice the the awe inspiring mural on the wall. This hardcore mural is a montage of Spartan Warriors painted by the famous John Zender. The facility has a unique open set-​up where you can freely train without the feeling of being crowded.
Location: This hardcore facility is situated in the business area of Foothill Ranch, California. The gym is located underneath the Nutrition Zone Headquarters and next to their Outlet Store. If you are looking for amazing deals make sure you check out the Foothill Ranch Store. They have everything from Vitamins to Sport Supplements at wholesale cost. They also have super friendly and educated staff. There is nothing better than having a supplement store that is literally right next to the gym!
Equipment: This gym has it all! There are two platforms that caters to powerlifters/​strongman and anyone who wants to lift some heavy ass weights. There are plenty of squat racks and pull-​ups bars. The dumb-​bell section go as heavy as 160lbs. They also have sleds, prowlers, stones, chains, and tires! The gym is also very well-​maintained and clean.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere definitely inspiring and motivational. Unlike your corporate gyms; you are more than welcome to yell, scream, clank weights, and use chalk.
Overall, my experience at MetroFlexNZ was a positive one! My hour drive to MetroFlexNZ was well worth it. You just feel so inspired when you train at this facility. Make sure you check out MetroFlexNZ and the NZ Foothill Ranch Store if you are near the area!
