I’m not an expert, but the food was good and price was more than fair. I would come back.

Do not come here. Sushi chef is extremely rude. My son and I come almost every week. We like sushi chef Sammy and like him the best. We do not like how the” manager” makes sushi at all. We went the last time and Sammys area had two men on the outside of his area making little room for two people in the two chairs between them So I asked Sammy if we sat next two the guy right next to his area if he could still make our food. Sammy said yes. We sat there and waited and the chef in front of us asked us what we wanted and I told him that Sammy was making it for us and he said ok. Sammy asked my son what we wanted and he told him. I’m assuming Sammy is making our food. A few minutes later Sammy disappears to the back and the” manager” hands me our food. I can tell by looking at it that Sammy did not make it. I told him I didn’t want it and he argues with me trying to force me to take something I did not want. Had I known he was going to make it my son and I would had left. He asked what was wrong and I told him. He’s not stupid. I had told him earlier that Sammy was making it but he didn’t care and proceeded to make it anyways without asking me. I understand Sammy could’ve gotten busy. In that case Sammy should have said so and asked if it would be ok if the other guy made it. Then I would have the option of accepting that or leaving. Don’t get mad because a customer prefers someone else over you. If you suck then you suck. That’s not my fault. But you don’t treat a customer anyway you choose and think it’s ok. I asked for the owner and the” manager” lied and said he’s the owner. If he was the owner that place would be shut down. Oh and I forgot to mention that my sons menu and napkin were dirty. The menu was sticky with pieces of rice on it and so was the napkin. We had to ask the waiter to remove them.

We have found our new home for sushi. We have been doing our rounds to various restaurants only to be disappointed. Don’t let the«food court» location fool you, the food is amazing and the service is excellent. You really can’t go wrong. Great location with tons of outdoor seating, with other options of food should you or another want something different.

A very low key sushi location. The inside is not that big but it seats plenty. They were playing Saturday football(cardinals vs Green Bay) so you can only imagine. Servers were friendly and service was quick. The rolls I recommend are the tempura calamari rolls & of course the spicy tuna rolls. For desert you must try the tempura green tea icecream. 3 sushi rolls, miso soup, edamame, 2 beers and desert for under 50 $ Enough said right? Enjoy!

Delicious! We ordered takeout a few weeks back and the wait was timely, the hostess was nice, the prices were great and the sushi was the best I’ve had in a while. We’re loyal customers now!

Always like the Sushi here. Staff has a lot of turnover and sometimes the servers are slow and seem clueless. However, the food has always been very good and very fresh. We go here often. Always a good sushi meal.

This is by far my favorite sushi place in Foothill Ranch. I come here almost every Friday, with my friends, and it is delicious. The chefs are amazing and super friendly and you can’t go wrong coming here.

I’ve been going to Ozen Sushi since they opened years ago. Their baked lobster rolls, Alaska rolls, sashimi salad, basically everything is fantastic. Particularly anything with salmon. It is Scottish salmon and melts like butter in your mouth.

The food is ok but the service is not good. During our dinner no one bothered to check if we need anything else, drinks refills or the check. We are talking about 30 minutes of no one checking on us. Also bathroom is very dirty!

Went for a little bite to eat. Saw the dinner specials, asked about them, ordered it and then added the seaweed salad and the cucumber salad. They brought salads first and then we waited a half hour for the rest, but somehow they did not understand we ordered the special and so we had to wait a little bit longer for our dinner. Sort of a downer, but it was pretty good. I loved the different American type sushis on the menu! Very clever. The food was pretty good and the price was decent, but make sure they understand what you want! Great for dinner before movies! light and nice.

My husband and I had a night out without kids. We love sushi and had a coupon for this place so we thought we would give it a try. We sat at the sushi bar which was dirty and cluttered with sruff on top of the case where they keep the fish. We ordered the Alaskan Roll and the Crunchy Roll. The salmon on the Alaskan Roll was so fishy tasting so the fish was not fresh, and both rolls feel apart when you tried to pick them up. The Crunchy Roll had no cucumber or avocado in it like the minue said. We had to ask for plates to eat off of which was strange. All in all I will not be returning to this place. Hopping I don’t get sick later.

Have to get the baked salmon roll, baked scallop roll, and spicy tuna roll. They are great on their portions and don’t skip. The rice to fish ratio is great, so you can enjoy a lot of the sushi without getting too full. Also tried the plain udon everytime we go here, and it’s pretty tasty. The only thing I would say is they need to re-arrange their décor inside. When you walk in they have a curtain that hits you on the way in, and two of their tables are set up for utensils and looks crowded. This set up is more for a quick dine-in versus a sit down unless you are going to be hanging at the sushi bar. Server is good for how small the staff is, and the sushi chefs are friendly. I would say if they rearranged the place a bit I would give them five stars!

What an unexpected experience! This sushi restaurant in the towne center plaza was amazing. All the chefs were friendly and servers were very attentive the entire time we were there. The food was amazing and everything came out very fast. We had a family style meal. Everything tasted wonderful and i cant wait to come back to try more of their food! Thanks ozen sushi for making this experience a good one!

I went here for lunch since it was close to my work. It’s convenient since it’s close to work and in the food court area. There is plenty of parking and you can just sit at the bar during lunch time if it gets packed. They give you free miso soup so that’s a plus. I ordered a bulgogi bento box I opted for tempura instead of california roll and I also ordered the baked lobster roll which people rave about. The bulgogi bento came with two fried gyoza, salad, rice, tempura which had onion, sweet potato, squash, and shrimp. The bulgogi was bland and lacked flavor everything else was decent I like the tempura the best in the whole bento box. The baked lobster the roll kept breaking every time I tried to pick it up the rice was too soft and wasn’t firm enough. The roll had too much eel sauce it was overwhelmingly too sweet. I would go eat for lunch since it’s close but taste wise I’ve had better sushi places.

I am a big fan of Ozen Sushi. It has an extremely friendly staff, and the sushi chefs are fantastic. It has a long sushi bar, comfortable booths, and always a game on the large screen television as you munch, munch away. Very comfortable, clean and I highly recommend it if you are in the area, or if you are not, take a drive down to south OC. There is a large movie theater nearby, and so grab some great sushi and then watch the latest Hollywood Blockbusters! On to the the sushi. Seriously, if I could give this place a six star rating I would. Wow, the baked lobster roll is to die for! It is a California Roll topped with baked bay lobsters with eel sauce, but that description does not do justice for the actual flavors you taste. Wow! It is absolute, total nirvana. We also got the dragon roll which is a California roll topped with eel, avocado with eel sauce. We also had the yellow tail sushi(amazing!), and the cucumber salad that was tasty, light and refreshing. Now, everything was above and beyond what you could imagine, however, the best is now for last. I will describe it! Seared salmon over crab meat topped with a sliced avocado. I find the chefs here go above and beyond in their creativity and execution. This place is a real gem. Enjoy!!!

I eat here for lunch pretty much every day that I get to go out for lunch when I’m at my office. The crunchy roll combo is my favorite. It has a crunchy roll, a spicy tuna hand roll, a California roll and Miso soup. I get a green tea over ice and I’m good to go! The sushi chefs are super nice. They give out free stuff and its a friendly atmosphere. There’s also patio seating. I bring my friends and work associates, it’s quick. Just an overall good experience!

I’m was a passerby at these neck of the woods and so I opted to have Asian flavors versus the various options like Italian, Greek, Mexican, etc. I had the salmon bento for lunch. This entire complex is filled during lunch, so choose wisely if you’re on a tight schedule. The salmon was juicy, served with fluffy white rice, the salad was typical and so was the tempura. It wasn’t bad, lunch just under $ 10, so as long as I was full.
