Both the NP and Dr. Yoshi are very thorough, and informative. Excellent bedside manner. I was not rushed and every question I had was answered. Highly recommend!

My husband has been seeing many doctors recently… mostly we’ve had pretty awful experiences. However, Dr. Yoshii’s office is pleasant, the people were courteous, the waits very short, and this doctor is Brilliant! He takes his time to listen, suggests foods that can help your body’s immune system battle allergies, and thanks to him my husband’s debilitating migraines are GONE since Dr. Yoshii found he was allergic to the materials in foam, rubber and elastic. So much for our memory foam mattress and pillows. Good to have these things out of the house! Thanks to Dr. Yoshii and his staff.

Dr. Yoshii might be a nice guy but his receptionist, Christina, is definitely not. Will fill this in more later.

In this day and age, time is money. I’m accustomed to sitting in a waiting room waiting to be called and then waiting some more while in the exam room– sometimes I can read 2 – 3 magazines in that time! Then, once the Dr. is in we converse for about 5 – 10 minutes and then he leaves and I’m left to finish my appointment with his nurse. Not the case with Dr. Yoshii. I was shocked and very appreciative for his patience and his thorough exam. You see, my son has multiple food allergies. He’s allergic to the top five food allergens(soy, wheat, milk, eggs, nuts– tree nuts and peanuts) and it’s very difficult to find doctors who care to understand our situation. I don’t know where to begin with Dr. Yoshii. He’s such a friendly man who is very professional and knows what he’s talking about. Even my son felt comfortable sitting and chatting with him. Dr. Yoshii covers everything you need to know about allergies. He’ll sit and listen– which is as dead as chivalry nowadays– and will not rush you one bit. We talked about my son’s allergies and created an action plan for emergencies at home or school. He started by asking about my son’s allergy history, his symptoms, and our concerns. Dr. Yoshii is so thorough that he even asked if my son’s scalped itched at times, which does sometimes, so he suggested I find products free of sodium lauryl sulfate(SLS). Dr. Yoshii even had a suggestion of which brand is SLS-free and where I may find them. What ever question I had, he had an answer to. We talked about probiotics, natural skin care, omega-3 and vitamin-d requirements, bleach baths, swimming pool water, air humidifiers, to even local raw honey-. And, yes, he knows about Orange County’s Los Aliso Canyon Honey and where to purchase them at. I felt very comfortable talking with Dr. Yoshii and we left feeling satisfied with the service we received. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an allergy/asthma specialist. He practices in two locations, one in Foothill Ranch and also in Costa Mesa. It’s hard to find a doctor who cares more about his patients than his paycheck and I’m confident with my choice in choosing him as my son’s allergist.
