Travelers Inn & Suites

My wife and I reserved a room at the Travelers to visit family. When we dropped off our luggage the room smelled stuffy and smoky, so I turned on the A/​C to ventilate. However, when we returned, the room stunk worse than before. My wife went to turn down the sheets and found several hairs, 2 bugs in the room and a cockroach roaming happily around the room. I immediately went to the front desk and returned my key, explaining what I had found. So I didn’t even stay a single night. When I called Orbitz to arrange a refund, they told me that the owner of Travelers had a strict policy about refunds and would not refund any of our money. If I had known it was going to be such a nasty dump, I wouldn’t have booked it in the first place. I know it’s not the Ritz Carleton, but really… If you’re going to stay there, make sure your shots are up to date…
