Forest Grove, Oregon… oh what fun it is to find a place to have a drink and more? hahaha! This is the sentiment I have when I visit my family as we visit often and want to step out for a bit and leave the kiddos with my parents! We always struggle to find a bar to have some drinks, listen to decent music, play pool and what not. Diamond Palace seemed like a cool little spot but unfortunately we got there about 30 minutes before closing, [11:30pm] aka last call and was able to only enjoy one drink and/or shot. The bar was set up nice though and we want to give it a try next time, so we will make sure to come earlier. The bartender was informative and let us know that they owned another bar not too far away that would be opened much longer!

I really liked this place. The hubs and I have friends that come in her quite a bit so we thought we would skip the Irish chaos on St. Patty’s day weekend and come check it out. This bar is one of those rare breeds that seem to have a delightful mix of ages and interests. The pool tables were packed all night, but the karaōke had a steady stream of takers as well. Customers and staff alike were very friendly and security was pretty… well, secure.(In other words, don’t even think about sneaking in underage — with or without fake ID — or being some sort of gangstah punk wanna be cuz they won’t have it in here). It was just a super casual, comfy place to pull up a chair and stay a while. Recommend
