Great prices with a decent selection on tap for $ 3.75 for a pint. Burgers were tasty. Waitress was very sweet. Little bit on the divey side.

Horrible… and just where to begin. Well started off by the front counter experience. We got there and there was no one at the front counter. We waited and watched the person cooking, and she looked at us a couple of times, but then we noticed a sign that said that the counter person was gone and to order at the bar. Thanks to the«cook» for letting us know, but that was on us. Well, we thought that was out issue. So we picked up, and walked around to the bar. And waited, and waited, and waited… as there was no one there to take the order either. Later we found out that the person who was cooking was the only employee there at that time. The other one had to run to the store to pick up the napkins. So back to the experience… finally, an inebriated blond, seeing us waiting, and waiting, and waiting came over. She was nice enough, and stated that it was her friends bar, and while she didn’t work there, she was going to take our order. Being a little apprehensive we were not sure, but being hungry our stomach took over and we ordered anyway. We started to tell her our order, then she realized that she did not have anything to write it down on. She then searched around for a pen and paper, and came back and asked us what we wanted… Now many of you would have seen this as a problem, and rightly so, but our stomachs were of the mind to get fed so we overlooked these glaring issues and pressed on. We placed an order for the chicken tenders(they are not tender by the way), teriyaki bento, fish n’ chips, corn dog bites, jalapeño poppers, and loco moco(pleasantly surprised that they had this on the menu). All«to go» as we had people waiting for the food back home. Basically, their entire«Specialty» portion of their menu and a couple of appetizer items. The blond ambled off with our order on a scratch piece of paper. And we sat for a couple of minutes waiting, when the«cook» came around to the bar and exclaimed. «Ohh, there you are, I thought you had left. What can I get for you?» We told her that we had ordered with the nice young lady and she should have handed her the order. She stated that she had not seen it, so we told her the order once again and we were told that it would take about 20 – 25 minutes, so being new to the area, we decided to walk around and look at downtown. About a half an hour we returned. Part of our food was sitting on the counter, while the cook was working on another part of the order. Mind you, no other food orders had come in after our order as no one else seemed to be eating at that time. The counter person, having returned from her store run, asked if we wanted to order anything. We told her that we were waiting for an order. And she indicated that the loco moco gravy needed to be done and that was what we were waiting for. After another 10 minutes, with our food sitting out on the counter(not under a warming device), the counter person told us our order was ready to go. Releived and hungry, we grabbed the order(packed in Styrofoam) and got into the car to make the trip home. Upon arriving home and opening the Styrofoam containers, we were greeted by some real quality food. Any by quality, I mean food that looked like it was made by the Culinary School for 5 year olds. Let’s start off with the bad, number one, with all the food sitting on the counter for, I don’t know how long. The food was all in differing stages of warm to lukewarm to cool to cold. The fish n’ chips were soggy and oily, and were accentuated by the lukewarm temperature. A quick trip to the microwave solved the temperature issue, however, could not fix the sogginess issue. Now for the horrible. All the other fried food that was ordered was at least warm, but was also burnt to a crisp. The chicken tenders were the consistency of chicken jerky and way overdone. The jalapeño poppers were overdone and some had very little cream cheese inside as they had been overcooked. But what took the cake were the corn dog bites we had ordered for our toddler. They were about the consistency of dried wood, they had been so overly cooked that they had burst the breading and the actual meat of the dogs was burnt and blackened. They looked like exploded charcoal nuggets. Now you cannot tell me that any normal person looking at these items(Pictured by the way), would ever try to serve them. So the OK part was that the Teriyaki Bento bowl, while cold was not overcooked and the loco moco was actually cooked well. However, they give you one little to go container of gravy(which did have good flavor) that barely would cover a price of toast. So our fam basically ate the soggy fish and chips, bento bowl and part of the loco moco. The rest went in the trash, along with any desire to return to the Disaster that is known at our house and Terrible Pub n’ Gross.

VERY mediocre. My burger was a frozen patty and the loco moco was bland. Very cheap — you get what you pay for.

If I want some late night grub, this is a great choice. They have my favorite chicken strip sandwich! Keep in mind it is on the dive bar side, but the food is good and there is a family friendly section.

Cheap food. With pretty remarkable quality. The teriyaki chicken is unparalleled and the burgers and fries are really good. The servers are always friendly. Check it out.

My husband had the loco moco and said it was the best he’s found outside of Hawaii. I had the french dip and fries, which were good… a little on the salty side which I Love, but others may find a little too much. My mom didn’t eat cause she was too busy enjoying the slot machines. :)

Just recently found this place. It’s located in Forest Grove and it’s a bar connected to a dining/food place. I think the food is ok, for example the Loco Moco and Teriyaki chicken can easily be made at home. I did also try the philly sandwich with fries and it was tasty, fresh, and meaty, but not exactly guilt-free. I do recommend coming here to grab a bite when you are hungry and when it’s too late to make your own food. Water is complimentary when you purchase an entrée and the service is ok.

The only downfall of this bar is they only serve beer and wine. No full bar. Bummer! Great food and great service. The bartender, Jessica, is a total sweetheart and great to visit with. Go have a burger and a beer, you won’t be disappointed.
