Desperate after 11 hours in the car, didn’t want to drive anywhere. My husband and I went to Denny’s with horrible Unilocal Ratings. We were pleasantly surprised!! Denny’s was just totally renovated and meet at the door with a Friendly waitress, food was fresh and very hot and service was very fast.

It was clean upon my group’s arrival. There was a distinct sewage odor near the restroom that turned my stomach. The young lady that took our order was polite but seemingly was the only waitress present. It was late night when we dined and fortunately the food was delicious. I believe there was only one cook which was fine because we received our food fresh and in a timely manner. The tv above our table was out of order which was a bummer because I enjoy low background mumbles when I dine. I personally wouldn’t eat here again at night but wouldn’t mind grabbing something to go.

This dennys was closed for awhile due to renovations. I decided to check it out today as I waited for a friend to get done with work. I went in at 11:30pm for coffee and dessert. There was only one server but two women in the kitchen. The servers back was facing me so he didn’t see me come in. He was communicating something to the women(probably a food order) one of the women cuts him off mid sentence and demands(quite rudely) him to turn around and ask me what I need. I get seated and wait about 10 minutes for my drink order to be taken because the server is weeded with his 2 other tables. When he finally comes over and apologizes I asked him if he was new and if he ever served before. His response was yes and no he has never served before. No big deal. We all start somewhere and we all need jobs. Serving is a skill and it takes practice. What I’m more upset about is how this new server(who clearly wasn’t trained properly due to all the questions he had to ask the other staff) was left on the floor by himself without anybody supporting him or assisting him. These two other women did nothing to help him except order him around and demand him to do things. I sat without my drink order being taken for 10 minutes while this server was running around like a chicken with no head and the 2 women stood around giggling and spot sweeping the floor. Never once did they offer to help him run the food to the 5 top he had. never once did they decided to help him by assisting me. One of them even left to go home while the restaurant started to fill up even more. I felt bad for the guy. I’ve bee in this industry for 8 years and I hate seeing spoiled management who thinks their role doesn’t include helping their staff. I’m a manager for a restaurant myself. We have very high expectations of our servers. and despite the high expectations I wanted to offer the guy ajob… least where I work he would get the support of a TEAM and he would be making twice as much money. Never coming back to this dennys again.

Took way to long to get seated, order and food. The food was just ok. We had to ask for silverware and syrup. You would think they would bring you syrup when you order pancakes and fork to eat with. Wish I would have read these reviews before I went because I would have gone somewhere else.

Horrible service dont even come to this place they charge me 17 dollars more to my credit card n they dont give me my refund. Manager said they dont do cash or credit cards refund she said call to my bank to void the 17 dollars extra … waitress do the mistake she was the responsible not my bank

Ok you walk in you stand by the door for a good 5 to 10 minutes even though the restaurant empty. before anybody acknowledges you and have you seated then they you wait for another 10 minutes before they even come by to ask if you want anything to drink or if you’re ready to order. I definitely think they’re understaffed i have come here other times but the service has been the same. I do have to say the server by the name Trinity can on and today service was a little better because of him. But I don’t know if I’ll be back… to bad you can put zero stars. Just saying I know that’s what most people that come here think that.

This is the Denny’s that I always come back to. The food is great(philadelphia cheesesteak omelet is super good) and the place is clean. The one thing that I’ve noticed recently is either they are under new management or they completely rehired all the waitresses because I’ve had a problem with their customer service before but now, it’s just topnotch. Everyone was super friendly and it made me want to go again very soon.

I wish ZEROSTARS was an option. Not bad service, but NOSERVICE. No one would acknowledge our existence and take the time to seat us despite standing five feet away and talking to other employees. Once an off-the-clock employee(who was talking to on-the-clock employees) told us to sit wherever we wanted, no one ever came to our table. When the«patrons» next to us got up to leave because no one ever came to help them, we gave up too. When I told an employee we were the leaving and that we were the second table to do so, she followed us into the parking lot yelling«It’s ok!» repeatedly. Scary! Looking forward to contacting Denny’s headquarters.

My breakfast was not edible, cold and under-cooked. Terrible service because it was way under-staffed. Male manager seemed to be very inexperienced, flustered and was very rude to employees. He was downright belligerent to me when I complained about my undercooked eggs. It got ugly. We were there January 19, around noon… First and last time to dine there. In fact, I might not dine at any other Denny’s in the DFW area. Lately my experiences at area Denny’s have not been good.

Do not go here. We came in at about 11:00 on 2÷16÷2013, a Saturday morning, an understandably busy day. The restaurant was clearly understaffed as one of the few waitresses was running around cleaning tables. The first problem arose when it became clear her attitude sucked. She was very rude and unprofessional. My dad wanted to sit at a table so when she got to us and he requested a table she rolled her eyes at him and she ran and cleaned off a table and then shouted at us «go!» and she pointed. We sat the table and waited a few minutes. Our waitress finally arrived and handed us menus and took our drink order and walked away. We perused through the menu, still annoyed at how rude the other waitress had been. We had ordered a carafe of grapefruit juice and a glass of orange juice. My cup of orange juice had gravy dried onto the outside of it. The two glasses that came with the carafe of grapefruit juice were cloudy and dirty. When she came back, we told her the glasses were dirty and showed her. She said«I took them off the clean shelf» and seemed like she expected us to just suck it up and drink out of dirty glasses. We requested new glasses and she sort of sighed and took the cups and brought back new ones that were fortunately clean. By this time we were ready to order, but waited ten minutes. Our waitress kept walking over to our table and walking away. After ten minutes of this, we decided we had been putting up with this for too long, so my father walked over and put money by the cash register for the drinks and we left. I am beyond disgusted by the conditions of the restaurant, how understaffed it was, and by the attitude of the staff. I will never step foot in here again and neither should anyone else.

Restaurant is short staffed and very busy. Went there for breakfast and waited over an hour after ordering. Not the fault of the waitress. Ticket was lost by the kitchen staff. Waitress had to reorder our meal. Same happened to the table next to us. They were offered a free breakfast we were not. Manager seemed unorganized and had difficulty making change for a $ 20.
