i agree with everyone else reviewing. the owners and staff are ridiculously rude. always have been for years. they should check this page and maybe realize that it’s the same thing across the board. this bowling alley isn’t that great. definitely will drive elsewhere for now on.

Wow these folks are grumpy! Came here with a bunch of cub scouts on a Saturday morning and did not run into anyone, from the guy taking money for bowling and shoes, to the kids helping at the lanes, to the dude at the food and concession bar, who so much as cracked a smile our had a polite word to say. The guy taking food orders kept rolling his eyes and complaining about how he should not have come in! Seriously, if you hate your job so much, quit! I doubt we will be back to patronize this place again. To bad, would have otherwise been fun.

My husband and I went here on a Sunday afternoon. There was hardly a soul in the place except for a children’s party which was dispersing by our second game. I’m highly disappointed with this place! The staff was rude and off-putting. Also, don’t come here unless it’s on their«cheap» days! We have our own bowling ball and shoes and it cost us $ 30 to bowl 3 games! That was way, way too much. I guess the owners think because they are the only bowling center around here, they can gauge their customers! I will never, ever go here again. Sorry F.H. Lanes.. .3 strikes your out and not the good kind of strikes! I think I’ll open my own bowling center and make sure to undercut their prices by half!

My nephew really enjoys coming here when visiting on weekends. We try to hit up the early discount hours — otherwise it gets too pricey after just a couple games. Snack bar options are horrible and way over priced. Never too crowded. Nice«relaxing» bowling outing. though my ego and manicure always take a big hit.

Been bowling in league here for over a year. Might be a decent place for your average bowling excursion. For league/serious bowlers, find another place. The staff is rude and unpleasant. The huge brick wall in the middle is hugely annoying. Seating is horrible. Food is terrible. Oh yeah, and there’s only one bathroom on the end of the house. So if you’re bowling on the opposite end, good luck. Every bowling center I’ve ever been to has a sign on the front door that says«no outside food or drink» forest hill is no exception. However, rarely is it enforced. For the whole season last year outside food or drink was fine. No body said word one to us. Now, all of the sudden they want to enforce it. We brought in some chick fil a and were asked very rudely by management that we couldn’t eat it there. Meanwhile the bowling alley staff had a nice Taco Bell spread behind the counter. I understand that rule for open bowl, but for league bowlers, that spend hundreds of dollars over the course of the year it’s a little whiny. Bottom line, i only bowl here because it’s close to home.
