My boyfriend and I do laundry there fairly often, and I drop off about once a month(he’s a bit more frugal). Their prices are reasonable and they always do a nice job with our laundry — and we never have any problems when doing it ourselves. Machines work well; never any issues. The man who works there is a sweetheart.

This place has taken a nose dive. It’s dirty. Dust is everywhere. The floors are filthy. It’s hot. There isn’t any air conditioning. The fans don’t make much of a difference, if they even bother to turn them on. Many of the machines are broken in one way or another. There isn’t any soap or water to wash your hands in the bathroom. Patrons have to use the slop sink in the middle of the laundromat to rinse their hands off. You can forget about a paper towel to dry them on. The tv was removed years ago. The soda machine is broken. The reason they get two stars is because they’re friendly. I just wish they’d get their act together and make the laundromat a pleasant environment like it used to be.

Since changing owners about 2 times in the past 5 years, this place has gone waaay downhill. Most laundromats are not that clean and this place is really filthy. If you drop a sock or something from washer to dryer, you’d better rewash it, if you know what I mean. We also used to drop off clothes here and have gotten it back with flecks of dirt or hair; eww! Plus, we ask them to use a special hypoallergenic detergent that we provide and can tell there have been times they used the regular one, itchy skin, and yet the container always seems to run out before its time, suspicious. We are taking our business elsewhere. Although this place is close to where we live, we will drive further to get a better experience.

After Hurricane Sandy hit, I was forced to do a lot of things I’d never done before. Like wash my clothes in a laundry mat(or laundromat?) instead of in my laundry room. So, after a horrible experience at another laundry spot(paying for parking, dragging all my stuff in, and loading a washer only to be told they were closing in an hour so it was too late for me to start a wash) I came upon Bonnie’s where there was free parking, longer hours, a clean facility and helpful staff. The owners are personable, helpful and welcoming, perhaps noticing the clueless look in my eyes. They helped me choose the right size machines, use the correct detergent in spout and so on. There were plenty of machines for the # of people in there. If only they had Wifi, I’d say it was the perfect place to get your clothes clean!
