I’ve been using them after my disaster at Budde’s. I’m not afraid to admit it but I love natural fibers: cashmere, silk, merino wool and I buy it, not just for me but for my family. kids included. My daughter esp. is sensitive to certain fabrics so her dresses are usually cotton or silk. I was hesitant at first because my Chinese is as limited to my lessons from Ni-hao Kailan. I take my clothes and family’s clothes seriously and I didn’t want a language barrier to interfere or a screaming Chinese Lady if I have a complaint. Also, at the time their signage wasn’t that alluring(that has changed, it reads«Lee’s Laundry and Dry Cleaners»). Boy, was I wrong about first time impressions. The owner of the store spoke English pretty well and treated my clothes and my family’s with respect. I brought in my guy’s Theory white dress shirt with really months-old ring-around the collar to ask her what they could do. She offered to try. Wow, was I impressed(I think she was too ’cause we kept laughing about it)! It was completely gone! I brought in a couple pieces afterwards and she really is detailed in going over the stains and letting me know which might have a hard time coming out. As of date, she has NOT ruined any clothes. Very, very happy!!! One thing I also love is that she does jean alterations for around $ 7 – 15 depending on the style of hem. And it’s pretty damn good. I’ve paid $ 20 or more for original hem in Cali and this is a deal. Also, when I was trying on jeans, she noticed the waist was pretty big even though my butt filled out. She cinched in that waist part for me which could also be altered later if I get bigger in that area. Helped me stop committing the crime of showing crack in public without me even asking! WOW! They don’t have a dressing room but right in front of the store there is a curtain that swings around for enough privacy(they even have a clothes pin to cover that little tiny slit). As long as no one sees me, I’m good. Other places I had to walk to the back amidst clutter and ironing board above my head so I ain’t picky. They take credit card above a certain limit(i think $ 25 or $ 15) which I was happy because most only take cash. I don’t know if the dry cleaning prices are cheap but I’m willing to pay to make sure they take care of it properly. I know it wasn’t an insane amount. She’s honest and will point out problems they had when you pick up. No surprises from her or «we didn’t do that»…I like that. I like that a lot!
