Ralph, and the gang do it right. It’s fresh good and, fair priced, they make roast beef brisket corned beef soups, it’s deli like the 1960s. Breakfast lunch it’s the Bomb!

Been coming here for at least 15 years & taking the place for granted. Cheap, great eats. Best BLTs: white toast, shredded lettuce… One is not enough. My son & I agree their Philly Cheese steaks are above average. They get my zingle order right every time, in 10 – 12 minutes for pick-up. Zingle via text at(718) 290‑5901.

I moved to Forest Hills in July of 2014. Immediately, I went on the hunt for a good bacon, egg and cheese sandwich in the area. That search led me to Continental Luncheonette and Deli, the greatest luncheonette of all. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The locals that occupy the seating area are great folks. The food is through the roof. My first tango with their bacon, egg and cheese was perfect. Because of that experience, I’ve tried various items on their menu. The gyros, hot wings and deli sandwiches are all consistently on the money. If you’re in town, do yourself a favor and order something.

Cheap, delicious eats are what this place is about. Their breakfast sandwiches are legendary. A relative insists on this being his first stop en route from the airport when he visits for his bacon egg & cheese on a roll. Their egg, tuna & chicken salads are excellent. I’m really picky about chicken salad & normally won’t order it out as I hate getting mysterious ingredients or bits of things that shouldn’t be in any salad. Theirs is consistently perfect. I’ve never had their burgers or fried foods, but plenty of people do and seem very happy. It gets busy around meal times, but everyone is very polite & the boys behind the counter handle the flow of traffic in a very civilized manner.

Luncheonette refers«A small, informal restaurant serving lunches» according to the Oxford Dictionary and Continental Luncheonette and Deli is most certainly that. A quick snippet on breakfast first though. Everything bagels, which are my personal favorite(they have EVERYTHING on them!) are on par with many strictly bagel joints in the area, so do not have to feel you have to run to Middle Village to P & C for a great bagel. {{P & C is far and above all other bagel locations}}. Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a Roll-my arch nemesis as I just can not go a week without one. Crispy bacon, properly, melted cheese-you get the idea. But the remainder of the offerings such as soups and sandwiches are really much better than many area deli’s and at a very reasonable price. Tuna, chicken and egg salads are all super-especially the tuna. Chicken cutlet hero is about $ 5.00 and from the very first bite you know the quality is there. Try the soup specials, there are some minor grocery items that you may need in a pinch if your not ordering food. Its a cozy little spot to order your food, take up a table with your newspaper and enjoy the beginning or middle portion of your day outside of Metropolitan Ave.
