Shout out to Devon for the bomb munch wings. Amazing food, and amazing service. Definitely try the munch wings, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

The burgers were awsome! I can’t wait to go back. The fries are a little bit too skinny, other than that the food is good. I wish the place was bigger.

The food quality is amazing. Different styles making them different from other food chain business’s. Unfortunately they were a little slow bringing out the food. Overall I would recommend other people to come here. hidden jem.

Munch gets a 3.5 for their food, but their service and quick delivery times rounds them up to 4. Munch is our go-to for comfort/grease/self-loathing(it’s so bad for you but it tastes soooo good). Their appetizers are solid, but our single favorite item are the queso poblano poppers: less breading than the jalapeño poppers and full of ooey gooey goodness. The wings are generously sized and juicy, they are even better when you ask for them crispy. The burgers are solid, but my only complaint is that they are a bit overcooked. The cheese steak is one of their top items, and if you add extra jalapenos and spicy sauce and get the waffle fries on the side, it’s one of the best things you can eat in Forest Hills! Munch is one of the better delivery options in the Forest Hills/Rego Park area thanks to their reasonable prices, consistently good food, and quick service. You know you want it… so why deny yourself?

Good halal burgers and sandwiches. Freshly made. Fries and wings were good as well. Good service.

So firstly, the delivery was awful– 25 minutes after the time window quoted. So of course, all the food was cold. Fine for the smoothie and salad, but this is not acceptable for a hot sandwich and pizza. It shouldn’t take and hour and 10 minutes to get food from 3 blocks away. We ordered: Cheese Pizza– very mediocre Chicken fingers– ok, actually pretty good. Chicken cheese steak sandwich– more like a mayonnaise sandwich Cancun Salad– disgusting avocado, and they clearly don’t know what vinegrette is– it came with balsamic vinegar. Would never order from here again– $ 47 spent on a very disappointing meal.

If anyone knows what is good for them, they will not order from this place. Placed an order tonight at 7:25pm. Around 8:30 we called to check on the order and we were assured that it was on its way. 9pm comes, we call again. Apparently the person who received the orders clicked on it as accepted but never actually put the order through to the kitchen. So now here we are at 9:12pm with no food but our credit card charged. Way to go Munch. Hopefully in the future you’re able to hire employees with half a brain. Disgusted.

3.5 The staff was very helpful and nice. I loved the layout, but the tables and chairs felt a little sticky. We ordered the garlic Parmesan wings and the philly cheese steak. Hmm, they were both on the salty side for my taste, and I loveeee salty food. The saltiness even covered up the garlic Parmesan taste. Also, the drink that come with the combo should be somewhat bigger. I think putting a sink for customers to wash their hands would also help. However, I’m definitely willing to go back and try other things. I do not think a sink would be weird, it would be convenient actually, especially if you sell finger foods. Many places have that available. On a side note, thank you for serving halal meat!

The food here is really good and it’s a huge plus that it’s halal but they take too long to prepare the order. If you’re here on a break from work or looking to pick up something quick and leave– this is not the place to go. Fast food without the fast timing.

I love to Munch and this place is my go to spot for burgers and wings. I have never been disappointed with the food quality of service. The Royal Delight burger is my favorite and the mango habanero wings are the best wings in NYC. If you are in the area or not this place is a MUST visit.

And here we have a woeful tale of a Shiny Sparkly Restaurant that downgraded itself to a Tarnished Dull Joint. The first couple of times here were great! The place was clean, not busy, the food(Classic burger with fries and a Philly Cheesesteak) was on point and the young gentleman behind the counter(who said he was the GM) was super helpful, friendly and patient. It quickly became my favorite place! I couldn’t wait to eat there again! The following visits were not so pleasant. The young lady behind the counter was less than welcoming, the tables were dirty, the music playing in the back that was loud enough to hear in the dining area wasn’t exactly appropriate, my burger was over cooked and the bun over toasted. I started to really miss the GM guy. I figured they just had an off day so I was willing to give them another chance. The next visit wasn’t any better. That same chic was working, and still didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. The only sign of life she exhibited was when her friend showed up. She was suddenly very boisterous and welcoming… to him only. The inappropriate music was off, but since they don’t play music at all in the dining area, my fiancée and I had to listen to her loud, yet ‘private’ phone conversation. Food wise, I decided to try the garlic parmesean wings. Big mistake. The wings were absolutely DROWNED in sauce. I literally couldn’t even taste the chicken. The mac and cheese bites were good, but a couple of them were stuck together and weren’t fully fried/cooked. Eh, maybe I’ll give them another try someday… but for now, I think I’ll pass.

Halal with a huge variety of foods to choose from, will be back to sample some sandwiches next time and go through all the wings they have! Really enjoyed the buffalo wings we got, waffle fries were good-will get their garlic sauce next time since some reviews raved about it.

Trying out the EAT24 Delivery. Nacho Libre Burger Yee’ Haw Burger 5 Alarm Burger Shoestring Fries Hashtag Fries Sweet Potato Fries I wanted to add an egg to my burger, they called and asked if I wanted to pay for it in Cash or Credit Card. Then she said she didn’t know how much it would be so she went to ask someone. Generally it costs $ 1 or 2 but I was guessing $ 1 since the Royal Delight Burger was only $ 1.50 more with an egg AND Turkey Bacon. She came back and said $ 2.18. Seriously? You have no price for it and then decide to rip me off? Major minus points guys, not cool. Another thing that was strange, they never asked how we wanted the beef burger. Dang, this means it’s not a «true» burger place. Ah! I forgot to order the Parm Garlic wings! — Next time… maybe… We live 0.9 Miles from Munch. 2:04pm Ordered on Unilocal/Eat24 2:38pm Order Confirmed via Phone 3:05pm Order Delivered We unpack our order, I’m pretty excited due to the reviews on Munch. Our Pepsi was a fountain drink… in a plastic bag. Considering it was delivered on a bike, it didn’t spill much. The burgers were actually pretty good! I liked that it was on a brioche bun, still a little toasted/crispy when it arrived. The fries were soggy, perhaps they should try to ventilate them by poking holes in the cover. We were charged a $ 1 extra for Sweet Potato fries, it would have been nice if they actually gave us sweet potato fries. We got Hashtag fries instead — Disappointing. I called to have it credited back and the staff was all confused shouting in the background — which order? who did it? I don’t know. what fries? what did they want? I see the order it says sweet potato. so what’s the problem?. Then they get back on the phone, what is it that you want us to do now? They were polite but just like the previous phone call, no one had any idea what was going on. I wanted to give Munch a solid 3 stars but with all the snafu’s, I would have to say a high 2 Stars.

We ordered take out 1) Mac and Cheese bites 2) Wild Willd West burger combo with sweet potato fries(swiss cheese, green onion, lettuce, mushrooms) 3) Macho Sandwich(grilled turkey and chicken with lettuce, tomato, sliced onions, avocado, American cheese and mustard) 4) Monster burger(two patties with lettuce, tomates, onions, pickles, American cheese, and ketchup) The mac and cheese bite were disappointing. It was fried, and I got more of the fried taste than a macc and cheese taste. The burger were like an upgraded Carl’s Junior burger — don’t get me wrong, Carl’s Jr is one of my favorite chain burger places but that’s the thing, their burgers were at the level of a fast food chain burger place. Instead of being cooked medium rre, they were cooked well done and on the dry side. They were a bit stingy with the burger dressings as well. The sweet potato fries were okay. The sandiwch was heavier than what I had anticipated but was okay. I think I would order sandiwches from here int he future, but definitnely not their burgers!

DONOTORDERFROMHERE!!! First time ordering from here I ordered a chicken steak sandwich and they gave me beef which I do not eat! I did not even take a bite from the sandwich. They’re service is atrocious. Instead of replacing it with chicken they refuse to! I said chicken about 5 times over the phone. The guy who took the phone from the girl taking orders said he was the owner and hung up on me. Atrocious service! When I looked further into their company I found out they have a low rating from the health department. Eat at your own risk. I prefer not to have food poisoning First of all, as a business owner myself I am appalled of your lies. I have the conversations recorded. If you’d like for me to email it to you, I would be glad to. I will be posting the recording online as well. I «checked in» on my phone just now as I was writing the review. I have never ordered from your place before. So stop with lies. In the first recording when I called, your cashier said you do not deliver to the Glendale area, so I sent someone to pick my order up. I called back 3 times to see if my driver had picked up the order. I never once cursed at the cashier and your cashier can speak for herself. She just kept saying no he didn’t come as yet. I said thanks hunnie and hung up to see where my driver is. My driver was very fast. If she had said did you want the chicken or beef Philly cheesesteak If she wasn’t clear when I said chicken over 5 times I would have been ok. It seemed like she wasn’t even taking my order down. She probably thought I wasn’t serious about my driver picking up the order. The beef sandwich is still sitting here in a plastic container untouched. You still have the opportunity to do the right thing and take it back n replace it with the chicken or give me a refund. I prefer a refund now after finding out about the inspection results. It’s that simple. I will even delete this review. Train your staff better

Ordered the following items: Royal Delight — burger Fat Boy — sandwich with ‘hashtag’ fries Philly Cheesesteak with regular fries Chicken Cheesesteak Split order of wings — Mango Habanero & Sriracha Fire Oreo Shake Reece’s Peanut Butter Shake(off menu — complimentary from the owner) Probably the best burger I’ve had in the tri-state. Had a fried egg /turkey bacon on a brioche bread. You can tell top notch ingredients were being utilized along the entire production line. Attention to detail with the flavor combination along with the presentation. Additional bonus that the food is #halal fare for those who care. This may be my new favorite go to spot if it was only a bit closer but worth the trip all the way from NJ. Limited seating inside and we were arranged seating on the outdoor patio. We were short a seat but the owner went next door and borrowed a chair from their neighbor. Fries were above average and the chicken cheesecake def beats out most other places based on quality of cheese and bread. Fat Boy was also an excellent sandwich that used an excellent cut of pastrami. Philly cheesesteak was just average but the above above average fries served with garlic sauce def made up for it. Wings also are currently in first place versus any other spot I went to. The Sriracha Fire was def not firing on all cylinders but it was prepared better than most others. Stick to the mango habanero and your mouth will be delighted. We asked the owner to kick up the spice a notch on those wings and he’s def got a clear winner. Enjoy a great place with owners who are true foodies and committed to customer service!

I love this place. Its the only burger spot on Austin street who’s beef I’ll eat. I only get vegetarian in the other places mainly due to sanitary reasons. I’ve been there a couple times so far and it hasn’t been disappointing. Everything I’ve gotten so far has been really good and were very good portions. The only thing I didn’t like was the chicken fingers were too crunchy, so I’d ask them to fry it less next time. Other than that, they’re pretty huge, both wings and chicken fingers. And you have to make sure they give you the right sauce for the wings.

Indeed a cool and exciting place to have your lunch or dinner. Evaluations: Décor/furniture, food quality/taste, selection and of course my favorite hospitality/service. Décor/furniture: inviting and interesting were my first thoughts at the place. Small area to dine but vibrant chairs and tables with cool designs, set the chill mood. Food quality/taste: huge menu, takes you a good 3 – 5 mins to read the entire menu, which disturbs the people who are on the line that know what they want.(No paper menu!!) However, I love that it’s a halal joint that is serving everything halal plus giving you a variety to choose from. Presentation of food was not that great, they gave the food in plastic trays with wax paper. When asked for more plates they gave styrofoam plates(I hate styrofoam). The food was between fantastic and good, they need to work on having fresh patties for their burgers and not circular disks from the freezer. I want to see the staggered edges to my beef pattie. Wings + sauce are fantastic and good variety of sauces to choose from(they should offer wet wipes, considering their is no washroom!) Service was good, the gentleman at the register offered different popular choices on the menu. Food took a bit to come out and I was done with my food until my fries reached the table. Maybe the guy needed more help upfront, considering I saw only one worker. This place is a must try joint, and a place to return to try out the rest of the menu!
